I knew it wasn't super complicated, but your style of delivery was top notch and simplified it beautifully. Thanks!
Great video and great comments. Now my wife will think I'm competent!
Lol
You have to be worth more besides your 🍆 and $$$$$

Oh shit me too. Maybe I should wait another 5 years to fix the holes in the walls😂
Great tips and very helpful for homeowners. These steps are easy to follow.
Very good video. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for showing multiple methods and sizes.
Thank you, Jeff Wilson for your insightful tips.
Dang, I can see why you have over 500k views. Very well done, easy to understand. Really impressed with your delivery and content.
Useful video. Thank you for taking the time to make it.
Thank you so much for your detailed video.
Thank you! I had taken shelves down that only left larger divots and I wasn't sure how to repair (all the other videos talk about using the mesh for bigger holes), so this video helped a lot!
For someone who has never done this before, after watching this I feel confident I can make the repair I need to do. thank you!
Thanks for doing this. Great help!
Thank you very much ! Great video covered every thing I needed to know
awesome! totally helpful and simple, easy to follow. thank you!
I've done every one of these jobs, and learned more in seven minutes than many hours of banging my head off the dry wall, so to speak. Very help full, I've never been able to use the mesh, but I think I can understand why.
Thanks Jeff. This nailed all my questions.
Great video, and well explained. Plus extra points for not having an unnecessarily long intro.
Pink mud that turns grey when it dries! Interior decorating has gone a long way since we were taught this in high school... Wow! And I thought 2 in 1 paint (primer + paint) was a breakthrough. Great video!
I was all ready to ask how to match the texture input you answered it thanks. I've seen many many repairs people have done where the smooth mid can be seen through the paint. A guy at work said primer on the mud should work.
Great video, thanks for the tips!
Thankyou for your easy to follow presentation. Takes a little of the fear of starting out!
Awesome video, informative, to the point, efficient.
Thanks, Jeff Wilson!
I choose this video for my work.
Straightforward to the point and a pro finish, winning
I have to share this with my friend Kyle

Easy and fast instructions. You got a new SUBSCRIBER.
Outstanding video.
Good stuff. Thank you!
Great info!
Thanks much!!!
great video. thanks for sharing. I was looking for this
When I repair a hole, I make the cuts tapered inward, and shape the patch (plug) the same way. Then I put drywall compound on the edges of the patch (much like doing a brick) and press into place. Then clean the excess compound with the trowels. When it is done properly, the finished repair is completely invisible.
Thanks Paul!
Damn. Thank u. wow. that was clean, quick and easy to process mentally.
excellent tutorial
Thank you so much
👍
Great Video. Thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial! it was really well explained, and very helpful! I need to tell my son Kyle to stop punching holes in the drywall or he's out of the house!
Excellent!!!! Thanks!!
great video thankyou
Nice job.
I appreciate you so much sir.
Very helpful and handy thank u very much
This is great. Things have changed since I last fixed a wall and this video will be great instruction for my son who put those holes in the wall and is gonna fix them. Gonna check out your web site too. Just curious.
Great vid, broke down the steps and added extra tips.
Thank you sooo much!!!!!
Thanks 👍
Instead of using sandpaper you can always use a wet rag to smooth it down and get it even with the rest of the wall. I think it’s less messy but it’s all preference.
Very helpful
Didn’t know about the price of board on the back of the Sheetrock for large holes. Thanks! 👍
You Got a Sub,.'Thank you for the Help"
Thanks!
Thanks m8, I got angry and kicked a hole in my wall, this helped a lot!
Wade Long V kicking a hole to a drywall is no grounds for counceling. That’s like saying ”stomping on juice boxes is grounds for counceling”. People get mad. Be Glad Weeaboo Hunter is even willing to fix shit like drywall. Stuff should never be used in my opinion.
thank you
Well made video
good info and great demo.. perfect for repairing the drywall in the spot where someone store out the toilet paper holder (how cheap can someone get taking the toilet paper holder!) LOL. I'm a subscriber now.
GREATLY EXPLAINED !!!!
great video! How about primer though?
So helpful!! How can do apply the same method on tile?? My house has one of those ugly old soap holders in the shower and I want to remove it and cover it up with the tile.
Sweet! I can do this!
Simplicity is key ! An you my man have done that.
jeff show the after paint look from the small patch .. the light beige wall
Dude, thanks!
Wow, this video was helpful. And he looks like George Clooney - definitely subscribing
Put a small bit of liquid nail on the backer board makes it very solid
Love it
Great video 🔵👍🔵
awesome
What type of wood is used to put behind the wall to screw the drywall to? Can I use a piece of plywood of any size and cut it down to fit in the hole?
Is there any reason I shouldn’t use a drywall patch over an outlet hole if I’m going to install a tile backsplash on the wall? Will it be “stable” enough for the grout/tile?
How perfectly does the cut out patch and hole need to fit together?
Heavy nap roller nice
What kind of compound do you use on the outlet cover
What grit sand paper are you suppose to use to sand bigger patches
Tony Danza is so handy!
Can't thank you enough for that video. I am heading out to Home Depot.
Hope you had a great trip.
how to patch an edge? i broke the edge of the entrance of my skywindow, which is made from drywall.
Thanks now I can fix the wall before my dad finds out or just call a handyman either way good vid
never have seen a worse drywall mudder than this guy.
Thanks George Clooney 😃
Good job mann you teach me something 🙏👍💪🔥🔥🔥💯
man john stamps is amazing!! thanks for the video!!
谢谢。thankyou very much you already know where im from :)
GREAT VIDEO AND INSTRUCTION 😊😊
Now why would anyone give this a thumbs down? Lol this was great
why joint compound instead of spacking for everything?
Thank you for making this my sister shoved me into the wall and it caused a 30 BY 14 INCH HOLE IN THE WALL
Why did you overlap your patch tape?
no primer before painting?
George Clooney knows a lot about drywall.
3:16 Keep feathering brother
Nice video edit at 4:41 I see you almost "run a couple screws in it" backards
Great video!
But what is the ratio of water to powder for making the mud?
You don't want it soupy. Thick enough that it stays on your knife but is close to falling off. And add the powder to your water, mixing till smooth and adding more powder (and mixing) until you have your consistency. Better a tad too thick than a tad too runny. You can add small increments of water if too thick to work with
If you can’t get your hands on spackle, would some toothpaste work?
Awesome! Now my only problem is that the original walls are covered in plaster and the repaired section won't be...
