I'm just starting to watch this film and all I can say right out the gate before getting past the first 30 seconds is, "Nothing good happens around corn fields!" Would like to see more with this one.
Indistinct humanoid shapes making eerie, unnatural movements might be an easy way to generate scares - but they are still scary. The part where it was behind him as he looked in the fridge was a nice touch!
5:50 That candle alone is making me nervous....I'd be terrified to have it where I could kick it over LOL! But in all seriousness, I love how it shows the progression of time! Nice touch. :) Now, back to the film........

Great job, especially for your first film. Very creepy and atmospheric lighting and cinematography. Nice buildup to the ending. One small bit of advice; maybe go for a less obvious outcome next time. Still Very well done. I look forward to more!
I'm sorry. I watched it twice and don't quite get it, but that's my own limitations. I still loved it because it's scary, and very smoothly and beautifully shot, like jazz on film.
Hey, I'm the actor in this short film, so let me explain it to you. The protagonist returns from work and notices his girlfriend isn't at home. He wants to call her but realizes he forgot his phone at work. Then, he decides to drive back to the office to get the phone. When he's at the parking place, a mysterious silhouette seems to follow him until he's back home. As he gets ready for bed, his girlfriend arrives. However, he discovers it wasn't his girlfriend in the shower when he reads the message that she's sleeping at a friend's place. The protagonist then realizes the horror begins.
This is very kind of you, T, but remember, it's not you, it's me. The short was perfectly executed. I'm the one who couldn't grasp the subtleties. I watched it again after you clunked me on the head, enjoyed it just as much, and that go round I got it. Thanks for taking the time. And stay at it, my friend. You have a nice, refined touch. Congratulations! For a first fim, we already feel a great mastery. I particularly appreciated the quality of the technical cutting. Precise and efficient, without ever falling into futility. You really have the eye of a filmmaker. The acting is quite credible. And music does a lot to create suspense. What I also like is that you never try to explain anything. Who is this mysterious man with a top hat, who only shows himself as a threatening shadow? No answer. And that’s what makes the plot, as minimalist as it is, as scary. And when the character looks through the peephole of the door, the creature that rushes towards him is striking. This scene reminds me of the Ju-On, by Japanese filmmaker Takashi Shimizu. In this scene from Shimizu’s film, no one rushes to the one who looks across the door. But the surprise effect is just as successful. Once again, congratulations on this very promising first film. I am convinced that you have many other great surprises in store for us. I can’t wait to see them. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Too scary 😨. I've seen shadow people before, and had two of them grab my arms and try to pull them behind the headboard. Hat Man doesn't wear a top hat, though. It's more like a cowboy hat maybe.
You‘re a big horror fan i see. Yes some of the scares are inspired by horror classics like these. Hope you liked it and would be great to read from you when our next short drops.

Hi, from the Director and Editor. We made this film in 3840x2160p, basically 4K resolution. The editing process was made in Premiere Pro by Adobe. Thanks for watching and hope you liked it!
My only criticism is that the texts are way too small. They need to be greatly enlarged for people with certain eye issues. I was straining to read them, and I still couldn't read them.
@@timongabrielweder in My opinion it doesn't make sense, because what does the man in the hat have anything to do with the wife staying over at her friends house 🤔🤔? Also on his way home he passed it looked like an accident, 🤔 was that his wife trying to come home drunk and didn't make it ?? Nothing against the film was great other then all those questions I just had!.
@@jennifercuautle-herrera537 the man with the hat had nothing to do with his wife. He was more like imitating her voice to sneak into the appartement. Then on the way back home the person in the fog was also the man with the hat following him. Feel free to leave a like and subscribe, we are working on new content which is coming in about 2 months! Well that was 9 mins and 15 seconds of my life I won't get back ! Just a load of what was essentially watching someone go through their daily/nightly routine. Could have just recorded myself doing that mindless crap. 🤦♀️ And in the last minute of this dead air we finally see a little action which was laughable at best. Honestly, what a waste of everyone's time, not just the viewers..Sorry. 🇦🇽

The creepy creeper imitated her voice, saying “Honey, I'm home”because he can mimic people's voices.
Demons and mimics have the ability to copy voices of loved ones and even the individual they are targeting.
