Judge Milian - Interview on Ellen DeGeneres show

This is the embarrassing clip where Ellen desperately fawns over judge Marilyn Milian who is an actor/presenter from the people's court.
It bugs me that everyone seems to give this woman as much respect as a real judge. She has a Law degree and worked as a state attorney but I can find no evidence of her working as a judge in a real court of law.
She is now a Judge on a TV show the People's Court.
