i am 73 years old live in australia and stumbled upon this concert in dublin a couple of weeks back and can not stop playing and watching further on my fav. awesome
I saw this concert twice, in Rome and Amsterdam. These are THE musicians. I have written, commented about Bruce so many times, met him,kissed him and had his autograph. Words cannot express anymore what I feel for him, my gratitude for his music, american literature in talent and music. All my love, forever. ❤❤❤

@@EmeraldEagle1 no doubt and Bruce is such a big part of my musical memories. There are places when you see him play you feel like it’s a little more special and Ireland is most definitely one of those places
Bruce has a knack for breathing new life and, more often than not, improving on his own songs by changing the arrangement. I'm thinking of this song and others like the electric versions of Youngstown and The Ghost of Tom Joad. The rockier version of Lost in the Flood on the Live in New York album. The longer piano version of For You and there are others that I'm sure will come to me later on but these are the ones that stand out for me.

@@tictaktotiki I love them both equally for different reasons. Johnny Cash sounds like a lonely old man who isn't sure what lies ahead and is scared to find out. By the time he meets anyone it will be too late. This version sounds much more optimistic, like a group of people who know it's going to be a long, hard, uncertain journey, but find hope in making most of it together.

Originally from the Rising album, and again it was a different story, this album was a 911 tribute to the victims of the twin towers collapse.
undeniable talent to create a song such as this.
For Johnny Cash to pick it up and play it as if he owned it, must have been an honor and a joy to Springsteen.
The sessions band wrapping it in Irishness when they played it in Dublin would have been pure magic to every lucky Irishman at the show.
