- Joanna Madonna was charged with murder on Father's Day weekend in 2013. Madonna, 48, admitted killing her husband, Jose Perez, 64, but claims it was in self-defense. Prosecutors believe an extra-marital affair by Perez may be the motive for murder.

I hate this woman so much to the point I can't help to think about how much she destroyed me and my Dad's relationship and now she destroyed the lives of her kids especially my little sister. From what my Dad told me that Jose was a good guy and I'm glad this women is rotting in jail. It's unfortunate that her daughters have to deal with her actions.

I hope you know that most people watching this are thinking about the victims - the trial is about one ultimate victim but we all know there are dozens and especially the kids like you, your sisters and her daughters. I sincerely hope you and your dad are able to mend your relationship and that you and your sisters are doing well.
@@jenmdawg I wouldn't say I'm a victim because I wasn't involved with this like my sister and her daughters were. That being said my Dad has stepped up to be an amazing dad to her kids as well as his own and knowing how much that I resemble my Dad I'm forever grateful for him.

It looks like she wants to project herself to the jury as a woman of culture and refinement (the Italian bit, for example), a “lady” who could never commit murder. Her voice is also firm and confident, not soft and demure. What’s interesting is that sociopaths are very skilled at presenting what they’ve assessed, usually very accurately, what someone wants to hear. However, she’s coming off as pretentious, which is a turn-off to everyone. This leads me to think she is more Borderline than she is Sociopath. I consider Jodi Arias a true Sociopath and she knew exactly how to act in front of the jury - soft-spoken, demure, unpretentious.

What she did to Jose was a horrible crime and she knows it you don't just stab your husband 13 times and shoot him twice one time in the face and another in the arm leaving him a ditch plus take his shoes and throw them in the woods,and say or show no anger! I think in the end you have a woman who had experienced a raft of "sorrows" during her life and current marriage and appears to have "snapped" for whatever reasons. She is defiant toward the Prosecutors lines of questioning and there is a classic case of 2 felines going toe to toe ... unfortunately, her defensive stance plays into the Prosecutions hands - she keeps pushing her toward "reasons of anger" ... I think she does extremely well not to lose face because she is giving it back as fast as shes gets it. Her demeanour suggests to me that she has accepted she wont be going home. She answered every question and more.
