Thanks for the comment. There's a fair bit of history behind this little crawler. The father of the fella who was loading rebuilt lots of components of the machine. Its more of a heirloom then a piece of equipment.

Very cool but I think that’s more like an early 50s 7U, unless it’s maybe a 3T as converted to a use rear tank.

'37 should be a 7J, but you're right, wrong fuel tank..

Good day I got a chance to go over a few details with my friend and your right about the fuel tank being different. But he has matching serial numbers starting with 4G. I bet long ago the original fuel tank took a direct hit from some tree or something and it was replaced with the newer style. I hope this helps.

Good looking ol gal! But I think it's a little newer than '37.. fuel tank is wrong.. and it would be a D4 7J in '37.

I responded to another viewer as well. It looks like the old cat has matching serial numbers starting with 4G.... So somewhere along the line it had a newer fuel tank installed. I hope this helps.
