🍈 green melon desert on ice and candy from train stations is the best. Resraurant window displays are phenomenal! Japanese know enough english to take up the slack of non-speaking visitors (Adam is right though- shows polite/interest/etiquette to learn a few words and phrases). Great content. Lived in Atsugi back '81-'85. Best time of my life! Yt: origami ninja stars!🌠
It’s interesting to see just how similar yet different the reserves are. That sandwich and cream puff looks great. That udon looked so good too. That’s usually the type I order when I get it. I love that little Mini Cooper. Can’t wait to see the pickups video too. I freaking loved that little diner place. It looked cute and the robot waiter is perfect lol It was cool to see the base and a tiny piece of the US so far away.
Great stuff! Exploring the Unbeaten Path has abandoned Fukushima sites worth checking out. Kinda sad but interested in everything Japan. Lmk if you ever need someone to carry your bags Adam!
I had lengthy dialogues with Japanese who barely spoke a word of English. And it was before mobile data was a thing. Pretty much writing and using phrases from your guidebook. Worked brilliantly
There is not. Starbucks Reserve is confusing, there's six stores. But they also have Starbucks Reserve brand coffee they serve in a bunch of random stores.
There is no Starbucks Reserve in Bangkok. Confusingly, Starbucks also uses the name Reserve for some of their coffee. Some stores put the name on the building, but there's only the six real locations. www.starbucksreserve.com/en-us/visit
Hey Adam I'm not sure if I've missed it in a previous video but could you please tell me the name of the hotel you stayed. Possibly looking to visit Japan for the big 4-0 with the wife and kids. Just really doing my research at the moment.
the wife and I gotta know, we're assuming the starbucks reserves are more expensive than the garden variety version? it all looks really good, though! also didn't know about the 'monotony' thing to explain how Japan has a million different flavors of everything, but definitely makes sense.
Today we join our Bearded Nerd as he checks out the Tokyo Starbucks Reserve where he gets a drink & food, cause he's Adam, and he eats the World. The next day he meets with a friend and the actually drive around to various Japanese shops including a Hard-Off to look at stuff, and Addam buys an expensive thing but gets a pretty nice discount. Later on they go to a American style/inspired Japanese restruant, where Adam gets a bunless burger. They also go on to American base where Adam feels at home. Stay tuned next time for the FINALE of Adam's Japan trip. - Adam, I hope the beef patty was better tasting than it looked. Anyway great work, as always.
Don’t forget to message me here or on Instagram when you next come to japan. I drive you to some great BOOK OFF’s and hard offs way outside of Tokyo/Yokohama.
Oh, great, a Starbucks. I'm on the edge of my seat now.
You'll never be as successful as this man.

Oh it's out of sync, the pickups videos came out a long time ago.
@@AdamEatsTheWorld ah ok. Then I’m pretty sure I know the episode it’s in. Still excited to see the future ones you’re bound to upload

You live in Japan?
Also, your Australian impression is immaculate 🤣
That Starbucks reserve looks awesome! It must smell really good in there I bet.
Great video as usual, i'll miss these episodes!
I think that's the same Chinatown area that's featured in Yakuza Like A Dragon and Lost Judgment
It is.
Will you guys head over to Okinawa 🇯🇵?!
Nah.
It is interesting that they refer to the meat as Tasmanian since that is a state of Australia. Cool video.
Atom Core-A-Lick. Specifically the nucleus. Protons, neutrons, quarks, and all.
Nice video Adam.Super Mario World next????
Nah, I never went down to Osaka.
Oh! Well, still looking forward to the surprise.
You’re welcome.

I think there’s a Starbucks reserve in Palm Springs ca
There is not. Starbucks Reserve is confusing, there's six stores. But they also have Starbucks Reserve brand coffee they serve in a bunch of random stores.
@@AdamEatsTheWorld it’s called “Starbucks reserved bar” so yeah weird
I’ve been to Bangkok Starbucks reserve, not sure why it wasn’t identified though

19:41 Adam's Aussie accent, lmfao. We've got the GW Bush accent, the Obama accent.... any other ones up your sleeve?
Quite a few.
Thank you for your service Adam. I did!😂
You’re welcome.
have you spotted any kids skating near tokio area?
I have not.

I stayed at Hotel Live Max. But it's really just for one person. Bringing a family will mean needing bigger rooms.
@@AdamEatsTheWorld Ok thanks for the reply Adam. Will have to look for some bigger hotels in the area possibly.

Yeah, it definitely costs more.
@@AdamEatsTheWorld thanks! we were curious. looked pretty good though!
I would have to bring a kit with a few American posters to swap out with that "Gundam" poster. I know it is polite culture, but just wanna trade!👆💢💨
They should design the robot waiters to be nicer to people
"Go to your local Starbucks reserve". OK, it's 950 miles away.
Closer than most people's!
nooooo not "ra-moony" i know this footage is months old at this point but it still hurts to hear ramune not pronounced "ra-moo-nay"

Actually I'm literally doing that right now.
