How often we seek God, but fail to surrender when we have His ear. Then we wrestle until we realize that self-reliance is no longer an option.

David Guzik, even today Angels of God are in human form. They preach the Gospel of repentance. Christ is dwelling in their bodies and doing God's will.
I love it when you say "Angelic protection", it is something you cant see because it comes as "Word " sent.
The "ONLY WAY TO WIN IS BY LOOSING TO GOD" right there you hit the nail

I had a dream live, but I didn’t have God with, so yes was wrestling with the creator, and I was empty and exhausted. But I took the word of God as my way and only way, and not be afraid of losing the word stuff. Now I have more than I could imaginen. When I was taking that dentition I felt lonely because none of my current friends understand. But I took the dentition to give it all to God and be a man of God.

Pastor David, here in Genesis 32:25-27, after Jacob's hip was injured he said, "I will not let go unless You bless me!" And God asked him his name. I look at this as God giving Jacob the opportunity at redemption. When Jacob asked Isaac for his blessing and Abraham asked who he was (his name), he lied and said Esau. He took Esau's blessing with deception. I feel God giving Jacob the opportunity at redemption points to Jesus in John 21:15. When Peter, John, and other disciples are eating with a resurrected Jesus on the shores of Galilee; God asked Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" This question was a result of Peter denying Jesus 3 times. I believe this was Jesus giving Peter the opportunity at redemption as he gave Jacob...Please let me know your thoughts. Pastor, you are the best!

You mean when Jacob asked Isaac for the blessing.
I agree though that by Jacob having to say his name, he had to admit to who he had been.

I don’t know that he has a video specifically on this subject, but he does mention it in several videos where The Angel of the Lord appears and seems to be pre incarnate Jesus.
In my studies, I’ve found several scriptures of The Angel of the Lord to where it’s actually God Himself which would be pre incarnate Jesus.
An angel can give a message from God saying the Lord says or the Lord will, but an Angel himself can’t give blessings or promises that come from him and not God. So when an Angel says “I” Will do such and such and not the Lord will, then it becomes apparent.
Some of these scriptures are Genesis 16:7-13
      Genesis chapter 18
      Genesis 21:17-19
      22:11-18
      23:24-30
      31:11-18
      Exodus
      3:2-22, 4:1-27, 13:21, 14:19, 23:20-23
      Numbers 22:24-35
      Joshua 5:13-15
These may also be: Judges 2:1-3 and 6:11-24

Pastor David, I'm having trouble with the fact that the preincarnate Jesus actually, physically hurt Jacob. I know Jesus is always righteous, could you please help me understand the disjointed hip? I don't remember anywhere else in the bible where God hurt man in that way.
Thank you very much for your guidance!

      Great question.
God disciplines his children. he trains them, and sometimes he even "cripples" them in one way or another, but it is for their good, and not for their hurt.
The Apostle Paul was given a "thorn in the flesh" to keep him from being puffed up by the visions that he had of heaven.
If God injures us or limits us in some way, it is to make us more usable and actually happier, since we are living in humility rather than in our own strength or in pride.
      Hebrews 12:5-11 tells us...
5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:
“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
      Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”
7 If[d] you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no [e]chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

The man who wrestled with Jacob was not God. He could not overcome Jacob, he was afraid of the day breaking, he did not tell Jacob his name. The man changed Jacob’s name to Israel, but Jesus uses the name Jacob. The man Jacob wrestled was Satan…’resist the devil and he will flee from you.’ The man tried to flee, but Jacob would not let him go. Israel has been destroyed three times in history.
