These teachings have been a HUGE part of my overall learning and understanding of the Bible. As a novice, I needed and am so thankful for your easy-to-understand, well-paced, breakdown, analysis, and application.

I so much appreciate this very valuable resource … and the extra niceties of how other sources are aesthetically visually professionally presented in the video-editing process. I’ve watched this twice now and am letting my mind work with this material - by faith, with the help of the Holy Spirit as I take in applications in my own life as a faith-follower of Christ and the gospel message. Thank you.

Thank you again! Appreciate all the Bible references and quotes (and that they are displayed briefly on the video). So helpful and it solidifies what is being taught.

Interestingly, God added a "H" to both Abram and Sarai's name and the letter "H" in Hebrew is a hei (ה) and is represented by the picture of an open hand, which literally means "GRACE" of God .... also in both names it was their fifth letter and amazingly, just like our God, in Hebrew the number 5 symbolizes the idea of saving, to be saved, or to be rescued. ✝ 💕

At the 36:30 time stamp, the baptism comment was constructive for me. I have Christian friends who seem to be uninterested in getting baptized. It's very saddening to be so close to the end of the race, and no one is feeling the urgency that the Kingdom of God is blatantly at hand! I feel like the house is on fire and no one will wake up! The blindness of loved ones is hard to digest.

On the Israel Palestine conflict, i think they both have a claim on the land, both are descendants of Abraham

God sent Israel’s descendants to the land of Canaan. Not Ishmael’s. Both Isaac and Ishmael were given blessings but God gave that land to Israel. Genesis 15:13-16 God is telling Abraham which descendants He would bring back to possess the land. The ones who would be enslaved 400 years. That was Israel in Egypt. Romans 9:7 says in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

Because Jesus fulfilled the Law for believers it does not negate the believer’s responsibility to follow the Law. Jesus perfect record of never committing adultery is counted for the adulterous believer, but now the believer must go and sin no more. You have to be consistent with the logic with circumcision. My circumcision doesn’t count for my salvation, Jesus’ circumcision is what counts. But I am still called to go and sin no more!

My brothers (two of them) believe that they were “once” Christians. Today they both are atheist. Their “belief” was such that it could be changed in their thoughts. We see in 1 John that a mark of a Christian is that they “remain” in the faith - and will not apostate (walk away from faith). With that in mind - I believe that God took such a long time to fulfill the promise to allow us to see that Abraham’s developed faith only grew stronger over time - not weaker. This (to me anyway) allows Abraham’s faith to be put on display to the world that it had spiritual roots as its source. In a sense, it was a faith outside of normal human source - in a sense it was supernatural. This is very encouraging to us today - as we should also recognize that our faith truly does stem from a spiritual source as well. We were “born from above” and our faith comes with that new birth. Hope this helps.
