Yeah really excited to be honest, cant wait for better weather and get it on the strip! Hopefully I'll get a video on this at the weekend or early next week all being well.
@@FlawlessCulture Okay, Thank you for your reply! I'm going to swap a K20Z4 engine in my Civic EK4 and was hoping it also works with FN2 driveshafts since i don't have EP3 ones :-)
Good thanks mate, the cars done over 500miles now, hard miles! 2No drag events and 1No track day so. Only issue I had was the rubber boot tie wrap was tight enough and threw grease everywhere, so used some proper clamps and we are golden.
Have you had any issues with these axles? Currently building a K swap myself and my head is battered as I'm keeping reading online about one side being too short? Cheers, Ryan.
No issues to date mate, it's been driven hard too. To be honest there is so much conflicting information online, I just went for it and so far so good.
@@FlawlessCulture that's what's keep putting me off haha. Read so many posts about how OEM is the best option then about another 10 posts with people saying it doesn't work but I'm literally building the same car as you almost to a T so might just go for it myself. Thanks for the reply, keep the videos up 👍
@@FlawlessCulture one more question sorry...when you changed your subframe to the eg one did you use the ek front knuckles or swap to eg ones? Thanks, Ryan
@@FlawlessCulture ok, thank you. Because some people says that b20 crv right driveshaft is better for the right side and is better size. Sorry for the bad English
Yeah man I get you, does seem a shame but you can always boost the K20 later in life lmao. I'm gonna put mine on the road now, makes it easier for me to get it to the track so we'll have to meet up and compare ha ha
@@FlawlessCulture yeah man. To be honest its never going to be as quick as the rx7 so would rather put pennies into that and just have the civic as a ripper
great video
Thank you appreciate it, I've just left you a long winded message on FB lol
Enjoyed the video man! Thanks for uploading!
Thanks dude, appreciate it, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
You got link for the cv joint bud ?
Bet your absolutely buzzing to get this driving man…
When’s the next video coming out?

Were your original shafts ej9 shafts??
Where did you buy the k swap parts from??👍🏽👍🏽
what are the correct measurements for the swap civic ek to k24 i bought from type s and they were small thanks
Are you talking about the length of the drive shaft? I used ep3 from a Type R and swapped the inners and used b series outers.
PART NUMBER : 44014-ST3-E80
For the outer cv joints ?
Nice info
No problem hope it helps
Can this also be done with FN2 type r shafts?
I'm not sure buddy not looked into it.

@roelreniers4215 good luck with your build buddy.
How are they holding up?!

So am I right in thinking these are ep3 drive shafts with ej9 ends ?
They are ep3 drive shafts, with the inners swapped over left to right and B16 outers
Swap left to right so no issues at all?
No binding no pop outs ?
Seen a lot people got kswap axles problems with Ep3 shafts
No haven't had any issues so far but will keep you updated.
@@FlawlessCulture
Thanks bud… seen few of my mate got problems with EKk2 mount dc eg - Ep3 driveshafts swap over . Hopefully no problems on mine …
Does its better to use b series axle shafts and swap the inners with k series cv?
Im not sure buddy, I was told this way works so tried it and it's been fine.
Can you say what the shafts are? Is it ep3 inners and EK outers?
Ep3 inners b series outers mate
@@FlawlessCulture thank you

I used the eg front knuckles mate.
What driveshafts do you use
EP3 driveshafts, with B series outters
@@FlawlessCulture do you have some issues, popouts? Have you drive the car at some track days
I've done over 2000miles in the car, tracks days, drag events and no popouts

@@rulemakerR no worries man happy to help, not sure about b20 shafts. I got advice from someone who's done lots of kswaps in the past.
Hiya bud could u send me a link to the cv joints I need to make these for my ek3 kswap
Civic vti b16a2 cv joint
Hello mate, www.autodoc.co.uk/blue-print/2888187 although I ordered this they sent Stark ones out.
Hi. Is this link for both cv joints drivers and passengers??
if you get one small stone in that cv joint you will destroy the whole thing in few months
No CV joints were harmed in the making of this video 😬
guess what im doing.......
Yeassss man! This in your ej you turbo'd or completely new build?
@@FlawlessCulture yeah man same one the blue one. Seems a bit weird making it slower but hopfukly a bit more refined and reliable with an n/a k20
