- Hi Everyone! Ever since I started playing the game and after the release of the Myriad Celestia Trailer, I've been super interested in all the lore related to the Aeons of Honkai Star Rail. So I decided to make a video series going over all the lore and theories on each of the Aeons. In part 1, we will cover background info on the Aeons, Akivili the Trailblaze, and Nanook the Destruction. There's was so much interest information I was able to uncover. And surprisingly a ton of lore on Nanook and Akivili. Hope you guys enjoy and let me know what you think!

My theory on Pom Pom:
He is a manifestation OF the train. He never boarded the train, that was simply when the train "awoke" after being fixed by Himeko.
It is also how the train is powered. The train itself as a thinking being is an emanator of Akivili, possibly the last of them even.
I like this theory!!! It definitely explains how and why Pom Pom is so connected to the Astral Express
maybe in the same way that the vidhyadhara exist, Pom-Pom cannot remember himself
@@BitSharkGamesI personally believe that Pom Pom is the heart of Akivili that ascended to Aeonhood and the MC is the husk left behind of Akivili. I also have a strong feeling that Elio might be the husk of Nanook. Perhaps it might be the other way around. If Elio is connected to Nanook then that would explain how the Stelleron hunters were able to attract the Anti Matter Legion. It would also explain how they can handle the Stelleron and how the MC is able to contain one within them. Perhaps the Stelleron are not Seeds of Destruction but instead Seeds of the Aeons if you will. Forgive me if I spelled her name wrong but Cocolia might have ascended to Aeonhood or was undergoing a transformation into an Aeon during her boss battle. It would explain the drastic change in appearance and her powers becoming so potent. The Stelleron had tried to connect with Cocolia and perhaps she was a suitable vessel for it. Perhaps that is the condition to become an Aeon. Perhaps the revival of Akivili is not referring to Akivili but instead the MC becoming Akivili's successor. It has not be stated that an Aeon cannot share a path with another Aeon. It is also not stated if an Aeon can form for an already existing path. If you follow that logic then even the dead Aeons can have a successor that embodies their respective paths. That is my understanding of the situation at hand. I like to call this the Stelleron Aeon Seed theory.
@@BitSharkGamesI also have a prediction on what Paths the MC will travel next. The first path is the Destruction. That represents the Stelleron that the MC has within him. The second path is Preservation which is the same as March's. The Preservation represents the Belebog story itself. I believe that the Path of the Hunt is next. It makes sense because the first two people that the MC met after coming to where March and Dan Heng. Their respective paths are Preservation and The Hunt. The Mara Spawn are the enemy of The Hunt as well. It is highly likely that the Trailblazer will take on the Path of the Hunt next. After that would be Erudition which will come from the next party member you are given which is a temporary Himiko. The next path will be Nihility which comes from Welt, Silver Wolf, and Kafka. But that is just my thoughts.
It's interesting, that many Aeons and their paths are tied to the end of Universe. Qlipoth is building walls preserving planets, Xipe thinks that harmony will save the universe, Yaoshi is trying to make everyone immortal, Lan is trying to kill immortals because they became the threat to the universe and etc. IX and Aha are nihilists thinking that universe cannot be saved and you just will wait the end or live for your pleasure waiting. Taizziront was trying to make so many copies of himself, it's also a path to preserve life somewhat. And at the end we have Aeons that are trying to kill universe FASTER like Nanook and Oroboros and maybe Terminus. It's like human's view on death as a concept

This is a late response, but I think of Terminus otherwise. Their role, from the looks of it, is the harbinger of the end for the universe, hence the name "Finality". But, as we already know, Terminus is an Aeon living chronologically backwards, something that was born in the end and lives until the beginning. If you look at them that way, Terminus' role is more of recreation than destruction. Herta said that Destruction is a part of Finality, but what she meant was that they both revolve around the concept of "entropy". Nanook brings destruction, increases entropy, thus feeding Terminus with entropy. The heat death of the universe is when entropy level rises to its critical mass, signifying Finality's birth. As Terminus traverses the universe, they consume entropy as energy, and reducing entropy means reversing time itself. When the entropy level is dropped to depletion, Finality also collapses, and Terminus' death signifies the point of Origin, thus completing the cycle and recreating the universe from scratch
Also, as a bonus point from HSR's older sister HI3, since they both are branches of the same Imaginary Tree, Finality's true power is not just about any element, but it's the ability to control time. Finality's role is also not just destruction, they are responsible for bringing forth a new world
My crazy theory: Wouldn't it be cool if, at the end of star rail, we go to pegana and the MC takes on the title of the Aeon of the Trailblaze to fight Nanook. Call me out if any lore says otherwise 😊
I've wondered that as well! I can definitely see the MC taking on the role guess we'll find out once we get to the end :)
As I see it, somewhere along the story the crew will find the Trailblaze, and possibly fuck up Aha's thousand faces and Nanook's ass
i interpret fuli's last couple phrases at 9:28 as such:
"elio's train moves forward" as the astral express goes exactly how Elio's script predicted it to be, with it landing on the xianzhou luofu being an indicator.
"the baby falls to the ground" could be a reference to Aha, since they ascended to aeonhood from laughing at a baby that fell down. this could be hinting at Aha's interference in future star rail endeavors, with them appearing during phataylia's second phase being proof of that, where you could here them laughing in the background.
"the cancer is growing" could be referencing how the Stellarons, the cancer of worlds is slowly growing all around the cosmos.
What about baby nanook
the stellaron does actually destroy via giving "wishes" really gives meaning to the phrase "be careful what you wish for," with belebog, the eternal free granted their wish with beating the antimatter, but in turn wiped out over 70% of the planet's population(theres been signs of animal life outside the walls) with the freeze and the last remainder was slowly dying out due to the overload of the fragmentum over the last 700 years until the trailblazer popped up.
its funny that jarilo-6 has the same animals and plants as earth, maybe it was an earth colony?
The Stellaron on the Luofu also granted the wishes of Sactus Medicus, and restored the Arbour back to life
If Nanook is entropy then let Welt deal with them

What if Akivili gained awareness that HSR universe is a game throughout his journey so he set up a plan and transformed into Main Character - the ultimate protagonist of any story, much like they wrote themselves on their planet. He might have done it to "re-explore"(like the prophecy says) and gain connection with different paths/eons, maybe it's the only way to save to universe or maybe even asend in beyond itself so the exploration can go multiuniverse level.
This is a wild theory I just made up for fun tho:D

It would fit because in german it sounds like "nein" meaning "no". Callung yourself just "no" is quite fitting for an aeon of nihility I think.
IX = 9 lol the “I” is before the “X” so it’s basically 10 minus 1 = 9 and if the “I” is after the “X” basically XI = 10 + 1 = 11 🎀

13:43 whilst it still hasn't been revealed what powers the astral express, there is a text conversation you have with Dr. Ratio in which he explains that to his understanding the astral express functions as a perpetual motion device, implying that it simply powers itself or that it draws power from something more abstract, the source of which is still unknown to the intelligentsia guild.
I could be wrong (by having missed some other dialogue from characters like Welt or the members of the genius society) but it sounds like the evidence provided in the game so far supports your theory that Akivili somehow directed connected the express to the power of the trail-blaze as provided by the imaginary tree.
But on recent story quest with Eminator of destruction P something. It proves that destruction comes on different forms. Eternal Freeze from stellaron can be said to be ones too.--- Not Trailblazer it won't stop and currupt cocolia to destroy belobog.

Doesn't Kafka say the trailblazer was created by an aeon as an empty shell? Was the mc supposed to be the vessel for reincarnation?
That’s been proven to be one of the Lies in Kafka’s Truth and Lies game. The truth is that MC was an artificial body specifically created to be a vessel for the Stellaron, and the lie is that they were a soulless body accidentally created by an Aeon. I believe the Aeons that I have seen have all been referred to in a genderless way throught the use of they/them pronouns. The only other character in game that I have seen referred to in such a way is Pom-Pom. There are tons of deities that are genderless/do not fit the binary in many beliefs around the world. I wonder if it is just the localization or could it potentially have a deeper meaning.

It's could be possible! We just don't necessarily have confirmation
It’s a possible reason, but then again it’ll be obvious to the rest of the universe that it’s the cause of Akivili’s death.
However, while Aha’s “prank” is relatively well-known, Akivili’s death/disapearance is still called mysterious. Had it been the true reason, then it’ll be listed as Aha’s doing by Herta, but it isn’t. Hell, correct me if I’m wrong, but all the proof we have that Akivili died is that they were no longer seen on the Express (They went MIA). That’s a non-conclusive evidence on someone’s death, especially to a being as powerful as an Aeon.
Pom pom can either be. . Piece of Aeon of Trailblaze or an Eminator. Either way could be just a gadget created by Akivili to control the Express

The fact that Nanook killed the Trailblazer on the spot in the Simulated Universe can not be a coincidence.
I’ve heard a theory about the MC of genshin impact actually being akivili or is going to take a new role of akivili this theory is from a youtuber called “Wei”

Do you search for aeon + mc interactions in simulated universe yourself or look for specific interactions online? i want to find records of all SU aeons appearances on youtube or anywhere else-

For the SU interactions, I personally have it all recorded. But if you are playing through the game you get to see the interactions I think from World 1-3 when you play through it for the first time.

Since Elio is rather cryptic with his scripts, at least from what i remember, it would make sense why Kafka would have no idea what happened to Akivili
if it doesn’t make sense basically im saying.
If all aeons are born from a certain concept or ideal at its strongest / purest form granting them full control over the powers of the imaginary tree and sharing their powers with those with similiar ideals making them pathstriders.
That’d mean that HooH was born from the concept of total balance and all existence being at an equilibrium.
If The Finality who moves backwards in time and exists in the past, present and future was born from nothingness and the destruction of all life.
Would that mean The Equilibrium strayed from their path or that their followers died out and with it the very concept of equilibrium and balance?

Can u do Hooh and the finality? Seeing as The finality has already seen the past present and future and the end of life and HooH who balances all Creation and Destruction if The Finality seen the destruction of all things what does that mean for HooH? After all he seems to be a entity without a form balancing all things. If The Finality has witnessed the end of all thing does that mean that the balance has been broken or that the Concept of the Equilibrium no linger exists

It's pretty vague. I'm assuming it means that Elio is moving forward with their plans whatever that may be.

That'd literally go against the dynamic of Aeons. Nanook believes all should be destroyed because the existence of the universe is a mistake. That doesn't make him evil tho. The thing is, the moment an Aeon does anything that goes against their own path they cease to exist, so Nanook will pretty much be "evil" until he dies.
