- In today's video, we go over all the lore on Nous the Erudition, Mythus the Enigmata, Tayzzyronth the Propagation, and Oroboros the Voracity. These Aeons have some really interesting lore and backstories. These were some of my favorite Aeons to research as they had a lot of pop culture references and interesting backstories.

Tayzzyronth and Mythus sounds so scary, Mythus's goal is to destroy history while Tayzzronth can destroy planets and worlds by sheer numbers alone
Yeah they’re so destructive on such a large scale. It’s scary how mythus can destroy the universe from the shadows without you even being aware
Tazzyronth and his children basically destroy 2/3 planet that contain life form in the whole universe and according to datamine about the swam disaster,it state that Tazzyronth are the strongest Aeon in a 1v1 fight

Tayzzyronth sounds like a lovecraftian creation, especially since the memory bubble likened the sound of bugs to the aeon's name which is a reference to 'Al Azif' meaning the sound of bugs
Ahhh that's an awesome reference! Tayzzyronth definitely incorporates some lovecraftian horror elements into their design.
The whole aeons is lovecraftion itself. It makes hsr interesting

What’s interesting is you can narrow down which Aeons played a part in killing Tayzzyronth. Nanook couldn’t have been a part of it since they ascended because of Tayzzyronth. Yaoshi wouldn’t kill anyone or anything because it goes against their path. Lan’s sole purpose is to hunt Yaoshi. IX is self explanatory. Long is already gone. Ena was absorbed by Xipe (although we don’t know if this took place before or after Tayzzyronth’s demise). So that only leaves Nous, Qlipoth, Xipe, Aha, Oroboros, Idrilla, HooH, Mythus, Terminus, Fuli, and Akivili as possible Aeons who attacked Tayzzyronth. (I included Akivili and Idrila because it never stated when the two aeons disappeared/died and we don’t know when Tayzzyronth was killed)
I’d like to add some things: Nous is so self absorbed in his path that I can’t see him care about anything else, same goes for Xipe, unless the swarm would actively target the planets she presides on. Aha could’ve been there for the giggles maybe but isn’t the Aeon that would give too much sh*t about the world being destroyed unless another Aeon told him that he would be making jokes and doing pranks on stupid insects all his life. Oroboros doesn’t strike me as an intelligent being but rather just as a beast of gluttony. Mythus is just another Yaoshi/Lan scenario but with Nous, which means they don’t care about bugs unless these bugs read books (very unlikely). The propagation would mean the end of the world which could mean that it would highly benefit Terminus’s path. So outside of Qlipoth (highly probable since they’re all about preservation), Fulli, Akivili (loves humans too much to let them suffer so very likely too), Idrilla (beauty and doomsday bugs don’t go well together so very likely) and Hooh (very likely since it’s all about the balance and high reproduction and massive destruction is anything but balanced).
It's stated that Ena was one of the Aeons that attacked Tazzyzronth (CMIIW)

To add to the discussion on Tayzzronth, I'm also reminded of the Flood from Halo lore, particularly due to how the Swarm is handled by the rest of the Star Rail universe. Just like how it's recommended to just destroy the infected planet, some of the species in the Halo universe familiar with the Flood will destroy / "glass" a planet where the Flood has been detected. This actually caused a war between Ancient Humanity and the Forerunners far back in the lore, as the Forerunners weren't yet knowledgeable about the Flood and mistook the attack on one of their planets as open hostility. Meanwhile, during Halo 3, the Sangheili had to be talked down from glassing all of Earth and instead focus the destruction on the area of Africa that the Flood touched down on, since there was still time to stop the spread and spare the rest of the planet. A notable quote about the Flood that I couldn't help but think of during the Propagation segment was: "One single Flood spore can destroy a species."
Oooo that's a good point too! The flood also has quite a bit in common with Tayzzyronth and his swarm.
Never got to play through Halo but man I'm missing out on so much lore from that series.

The Aeons are way more terrifying than they seem.
After Ruan Mei missions, I bet Tayzzyronth wont revive but, as the Zergs in Star Craft, Ruan Mei on her obsession on pursuing aoenhood and her fascination on life itself and creating life will make her to assimilate the real last fragment of Tayzzyronth ascend, and who knows, maybe something like that and her Ruan Mei fascination of life will make Propagation and Abundance to collision and thats what Luocha and Jingliu wants in order to kill Yaoshi
Funny thing is that what ever we learn about anything related to enigmata can be false
Will you do an analysis on the Xianzhou Luofu vs. Lan & Yaoshi? I think there are much more than presented in the main quests. The atitudes of Xianzhou people towards Lan and Yaoshi are very interesting and sometimes conflicting.
I've thought about it! I just wanted to wait for more lore entries. But the main reason was because of Long the Permanence and the Vidyadhara because they also influence the attitudes of the Xianzhou, so I wanted to wait till 1.2 dropped.
I think Qlipoth actually build the wall to protect universe from oroboros

That's what I was thinking too! And they're both super old Aeons so theey definitely know each other. Also that might be the reason people haven't seen Oroboros in a while since Qlipoth shut them out.

Really love your lore videos since finding good ones about hsr is pretty hard
ngl since we've recently gotten more lore about Tayzzyronth, i think i really really like them. They were a victim of war, which made them extremely lonely. So lonely that they ascended to aeonhood. I know there's some lore out there that says this, Tayzzyronth ended up befriending Yaoshi because they are both shunned aeons by many, even among their own aeons. And in my opinion, I love both because I think it's clear that they love a lot. Tayzzyronth literally duplicates themselves because they were so lonely. Yaoshi heals others because the value of life is so important, making people immortal should they ask. Obviously both went a little overboard, but I think they both ascended because they had love within them, so how could I hate them?
I know all of the aeons have great designs but OMG, Tayzzyronth has such an amazing design. The bug bottom half matched with a humanoid torso, and with not a face, but a pink heart-shaped figure replacing their face. It's a cool design and the heart is just really cute. love bleeds from Tayzzyronth and i love it sm

Something interesting, the Zerg are actually based on the Tyranids from Warhammer 40k, who in turn drew a lot of inspiration from the Xenomorphs.

Honkai impact third has Mobius whose modifier is 'Infinite Oroboros' and she's basically a doctor (researcher) who has seen past infinity with her form (becausw even if she dies, she just resurrects again, albeit a bit younger). So similarly regarding the Aeon Oroboros, I think they probably died at some point (but not really, because they can't really die) and maybe entered a cycle of sorts (and now that I think of it, it reminds me of the Vidyadhara race)

@@BitSharkGames Also Tayzzyronth vs. Nanook reminds me of Yaoshi vs. Lan. Tayzzyronth triggerred the birth of Nanook and Yaoshi triggerred the birth of Lan in a similar way...although in a lesser scale...almost as if the universe is meant to be in E Q U I L I B R I U M
i have a question. seeing all the playable characters have a variety of path, did it mean they're the followers of said aeon or they just follow the path without following the aeon or hoyo just randomly distribute them just for the sake of mechanic of the game? are there also theories or explanation on why the mc can change path n the lore side of thing. can other people change path when they follow another aeon with different path? will you talk about this in future video?
That’s a good question! I haven’t played through the latest story quest but it seems possible to follow another aeon and have blessing from a different path.
people can change their path if they start carrying different ideas. everyone can except aeons themselves, because they are the odea of a path in a pure form, if theyll chamge the ideas they will vanish. I can't provide sources but I did read it in the game, I think in a book. and I think you can follow the path without following the aeon as a god, but you do follow them as a pure representation of a path. it's an interesting thing to think about
The rivaly between myrhus and nous, make me think about history ww2 when enigma machine is defeated by turing machine( pioneer of computer)

Idk why but nahida feels like a combination of nous and mythus for one she wants to discover and learn about the mysteries of teyvat but have powers related to that of mythus with her have access to a world tree that can change peoples memories of certain events and she also gives full vibes since she’s al about dreams and memories and dreams go hand in hand it’s fitting that she embodies all of that with her title, being that of the god of wisdom is aeons existed in her universe she would definitely be the aeon of the wisdom

No you're right! We don't have any the Erudition or the Harmony yet! Honestly, I think they are eventually going to add all the main paths to the SU. For the "minor paths" like the Voracity, Beaty or the Propagation. Those probably won't get added.
@@BitSharkGames I’m not sure how you feel about leaks, but according to recent ones, Tayzzyronth and Propagation will be added to SU with a new permanent event in 1.3, apparently focusing on basic attacks. There’s also leaked art of Tayzz, Mythus and Oroboros going around.
We might be getting a look into tayzzyronth considering the new SU update is literally called "the swarm disaster"
Do you think Nous is more or less the “perfect form” of the simulated universe? Because it can perfectly simulate the universe as we know of, it can study, and gain understand of everything.

So the Zurg are actually a direct spin off of Warhammer 40k's Tyranids, as Star Craft was once gonna be a warhammer 40k game that changed due to a licensing issue (or so the rumour goes).
Why would this really matter? Well, there is a tone of other Warhammer 40k parallels, such as the Loufu and other Xianzhou alliance ships being similar to the Eldar Craftworlds in 40k and the Aeons being gods made up of Human Concepts similar to the Chaos gods (including the element that chaos gods can absorb each other should a dominant concept encompases the old, seemingly how the big 4 became the only widely known ones). While 40k itself takes from a lot of Sci-Fi, the multitudes of the parallels suggest that 40k may have been a starting point for a lot of inspiration in Star Rail.
