To keep this post as short as possible, let me just be short and kind of blunt about the story I am going to tell. But it could upset sensitive people. My mother married my stepfather when I was 5. He immediately started making hard core porn a fixture in my life. I was just starting kindergarten when I came down with pneumonia, which to this day has a serious impact on my life - my lungs are pretty scarred up from it. My recovery was long, and when it was over, my stepfather convinced my mother to not allow me to return to school. He said that I was unnaturally bad, (think Damien from the Omen, I'm not kidding) and that if my mother did not hand me over to him to be - what? - I don't know what to cali it, training I guess. If she did not hand me over to him and his superior methods of child development (He had no kids, btw) not only would I be an ongoing discipline problem throughout 12 years of school, but I would never be popular among my peers, would die old and alone. This pneumonia, he said, was a golden opportunity to remold my personality before school began for real in 1st grade. She did it - I was kept out of kindergarten and he spent the rest of the year basically experimenting on my soul. There rest of my childhood was weird, isolated and violent. As my stepfather, a born again Baptist alcoholic porn freak sexual sadist worked on my mother's perception of me, she valued me less and less, he got away with more and more, and my extended family also believed, over time, that I am just BAD, without any concrete evidence to base their opinion on. Only my mother's mother stands by me, so my mother begins spreading rumors about her, and I could see her position in the family dropping. Over time they spoke to her with less and less deference, until they were openly condescending to her while speaking. I was treated the same way. In my mother's marriage was a long running issue about wanting wall to wall carpeting in our house, which was a fixer upper. They did not fight about it, but it was just "there". This will be important later. Parents like this will often control you, and make you feel like family loyalty is what it is all about. I was like that. We'd all been close knit until my mother married the creep. I wanted that back. My mother and aunt took jobs at a new department store just going into a local mall. They thought I should work there too - a mistake by the way. When the store was almost ready to open, all employees were required to attend a meeting one evening. They went over our benefits package then. Here's where an already bad situation gets even weirder, and this is when I was forced to face the reality that my mother would be willing to kill me for insurance $$$: At one point they announced that we all were eligible, from day one, to a death benefit of 1200.00. That'll put you in the ground and that's about it. My mother went into overdrive. "You put mine and daddy's name right there, put mine and daddy's name right there," over and over. She was on my right, and I am right-handed, so she could not see the line where I was to write. She was trying to lean over the table to see what I was writing. I had a flash where I could see me rolling down the steps in our house, mom at the top of the stairs, and a voice in my head said, "about two weeks". She clearly was thinking about the wall to wall carpeting. For the first time, I got to experience my blood running cold. Up until then, it had only been a figure of speech. I did not feel safe. I had to think, fast. So I wrote my grandmother's name in as my beneficiary. When I moved my hand away, my mother, eagerly looking to see her name, was FURIOUS. Not long after that, I moved out, but it was bad. I never did really recover from them. But at least I escaped. So yeah, I know what it is to have your mother assess your life as being worth 1200.00. Those people are out there. Glad I escaped mine. If it ever happens to you, I hope you escape yours.

Like looking at the past hundred or so years from the conception of life insurance, so many heinous murders have been committed by both men and women. During the turn of the century, you were more likely to be poisoned by your "lover" for your life insurance. To be honest if you date a man or a woman who's previous spouses all died or dissapeared in weird ways, run for the hills.

It is very unusual for any life insurance on a child to be more than funeral costs. The insurance company itself should have been suspicious. Policies that large are usually only on the head of the family who is paying the premium himself. (To provide for his family if anything happens to him). Who on Earth takes a huge policy out on a child, but doesn't have one for himself? Someone should have seen that redflag.

If the respondant doesnt ask these questions, (doesnt matter if they answered it already) the respondant will have alot of legal issues and they will also be prosecuted for the case as neglect. So that they dont try to change the story or so that they say more info without probing.
Its not supposed to happen. It's supposed to be both parties signing it in front of a notary. But it's not unheard of for people to forge the person's signature or to get them to sign it, thinking it's something else altogether. I believe its A LOT harder to do that kinda stuff these days. Honestly, how could you ever endure the sick, guilty feeling in the pit of your stomach for the rest of your life if you did something like this? No amount of money is worth it.

A series of mishaps: A man walks under a ladder and knocks over a can of housepaint. He then steps on a rake, which hits him in the face. He spins around and steps in the paint can, it's stuck to his foot. That's what comes to mind when I hear "a series of mishaps'

Usually the guys who really have no interest in gay men don’t care and don’t make stupid comments like yours. It doesn’t even phase them.
Shouldn't some of those insurance companies had been concerned?
Not rhe first time around. Especially if the police and fire inapector wrote it off as no foul play was involved. The insurance company wouldn't have a reason or way to withhold or investigate the claim they often need a police report to back them up.
@philbyification Wow. I had no idea. That's nuts. I'm sorry it's such a battle for you. It's often like swimming up river, against the current when dealing with agencies and companies that make $$ off of people's dependence on them.
I'll look into it a bit n let u know if there is anything or any help I can turn up. I'll post it here if I can find anything. There are usually ways to find out this kind of information.
@philbyification also, did you say she went to the psych ward? Is she still there? I'm just curious because in some cases, people who are found to be unfit or unstable, will have someone appointed as power of attorney for them. In a situation like that, getting that information with the help of the person who holds POA, might be a lottle easierm
I’m thinking they just collect the premiums and,BONUS, they don’t have to pay out bc the crime
"I got the hell out of there like a kid that threw a window through a glass"
What?
@B Brilliant and captivating analysis.
She got out so fast she couldn't talk right
I think she meant “a kid who threw something through a glass window.” Like a baseball.
A lot of people would still be alive if Life insurance never invented.
Alot more left financially ruined. Please think before you comment.
@@Thisisaweirdthing2makeusdo no. It makes sense. It shouldn't cost anything for a life passing on.

I understand what he’s saying but just like anything people find a way to exploit something meant to do good to their selfish purposes. In this case Satan himself obviously bought insurance for evil. You should not be able to insure people without their knowledge.
The love of money is the root to all evil.
To a lot of it anyway. Religion and jealousy are also large contributors to the world of evil.
Exactly
First time I've seen this quoted correctly. 👌
This has nothing to do with money. He is a sociopath. If we evolved past money, he would find something else to greed over.
DabTime
So you’re saying if we evolved and payed with wheat 🌾 corn 🌽 or even onion plants 🌱 then he would have killed his wife and kids for onion plants?
I probably watch more of these types of programs than I should, but it still shocks me to see how low people will go for their own gain :( So sad!
Yes me too.but yes I'm still shocked at man's inhumanity to his fellow man 💔
That second wife was next!!!! So glad she spoke up! She saved her life
The number 5 leading cause of death in America: Life Insurance.
Things are bound to go awry when you put a monetary incentive on someone's life.
Source?
@@jimwerther You commented on what I was thinking too.. this all sounds a little "too good to be true." What is the "source?"
So much credit to the wife- she didnt put her head in the sand but wanted the truth , even when it blew her life apart. Poor woman she still seems traumatized.
This is why I have trust issues. In the blink of an eye, even family can turn on you.
Always listen to your gut
Then dont marry a republican.
All the sick sociopaths on this show are right wingers, they arent right in the head.
If they dont care about a whole planet, they sure as hell dont care about their own family.
LittleRainGames The El Paso murderer was a Democrat, you sicko. Communists/Maoists/Socialists/leftists are the biggest genocide-promoters of the last 100 years and they are all left-wingers! And there is no reference in this video at all about the killer being right wing at all. You cooked it up in your twisted politics.
Henry Bing how trustworthy are you yourself? You could be merely projecting your own reality on the world. Cindy was clearly trustworthy. She saved her grandkids.

This guy is the devil or he walks in the path of the devil. Apparently money is more important than life itself; that's usually occurs when someone has devil like intention and behavior.
What is it with Carl and fires?.
I think he likes how it distroys evidence
How the he'll does life insurance policies work in USA??? Like....it's sounds like anyone can take out policy on damn near anyone
@@Isabella66Gracen when i was married and the breadwinner i was the only one who had life insurance. I didn't even give a thought of getting my wife and son insured.
@@howey935 this is the same with my husband. When I was younger, he insured me for enough to take care of childcare costs for a few years(not a significant amount). When the boys hit ten years we cancelled that. It's makes no sense to Insure non breadwinners for vast amounts. I really do think life Insurance companies should red flag and have these situations investigated before things go wrong.

i’ve been watching loads of these stories and this one is the craziest one. They could make it into a movie.
They shouldn't he's not worth any more attention then what he's gotten.
Viral, there is a movie 🎬 similar to this also a true story I'm sorry I can't remember the name but it starred Robert Urich who insured his children and son in law and then started killing them 💔😔
It should be legal to brand these types of people across the forehead.

cindy : "Hes not alive"...
911 dispatcher: " Is he breathing?" 😕
IKR I was hoping the stepmom would be like, "Bitch what did I just say? He's not alive....how's he supposed to be breathing if he's not alive?"
Its a routine question it is mandatory to ask it. If the respondant doesnt ask these questions, (doesnt matter if they answered it already) the respondant will have alot of legal issues and they will also be prosecuted for the case as neglect.
We have to ask the questions twice, it's just more assurance for us, the company and the police officers. The first time the caller might not be collected so the second answer is the golden one. So that they dont try to change the story or so that they say more info without probing.
Thats a normal question to ask in 911 call because pple say "dead" as an expression of scary events n in times of destress
Xiim3naa That makes sense. Thank you for sharing.

"fatal mishap" makes it sound like he's very clumsy lol.
My God, what a monster.
So is it possible to have a life insurance on someone else without that person knowing it?Isn't that a little bit creepy?
Its not supposed to happen. It's supposed to be both parties signing it in front of a notary. But it's not unheard of for people to forge the person's signature or to get them to sign it, thinking it's something else altogether. I believe its A LOT harder to do that kinda stuff these days. But even 10-20 years ago it was a bit easier.
@@kari7403 Thanks!

“like a kid who threw a window through a glass or something”

Think it was supposed to be the other way around..!
Did nobody get suspicious after the second fire let alone the car incident
The real scary thing is this guy would still be out there right now having "bad luck" if he had not confessed to his wife twice and if she had not gotten it recorded for the cops.
This woman has been thru a lot - bless her heart
I can't even believe that their are people like this man roaming our planet! I've seen this story several times and am even more stunned each time. As a parent and grandparent, I can't even fathom losing one of them, let alone at my own hands! Special place in hell for this monster!

What a terrible story.
Though I loved the ending when the officer said Levi’s wife came in with the little girls to meet the officers that saved their life. The look on his face gave me joy.
A series of mishaps:
A man walks under a ladder and knocks over a can of housepaint. He then steps on a rake, which hits him in the face. He spins around and steps in the paint can, it's stuck to his foot.
That's what comes to mind when I hear "a series of mishaps'
it just blank?a kid that threw a window through a glass? he is spun totally, and his voice is so weak and unemotional
This man experienced so many large fires before his son ever died, normal people don't statistically experience that many large tragedies, especially of the same type. He should've been investigated long before Levi died.
15 years for murdering your own son? wow
