If anyone needs help with finding their colours I recommend you firstly comparing gold vs silver, orange vs blue and peach/camel vs lilac/baby blue next to your face to find if you are warm or cool. Then you compare between intensity in colours from the same family to find your season (for example navy blue vs baby blue if you are in the cool family). Comparing in the black to white scale also helps with this last step! :)
Absolutely!!! this is exactly how professional color analysts do it, they hold up drapes that are like a warm red vs a cool red, a desaturated blue vs an electric blue, cream vs white, etc! Adding onto this, it's important to do tests like this in natural lighting and with absolutely ZERO makeup on :) love this!!
Thanks for the tips🎉 I think it’s possible to be genuinely neutral - I look somewhat better in some colours, but generally look good in most things I put on, warm and cool. I always get complimented when I wear black and white, but also get complimented in muted autumn colours. I got my skin scanned by a make up counter and she said I was every so slightly warm, but yes, neutral. I look good with both bright copper coloured hair and blue black hair. I eventually dug up an article that says Christina Hendricks and Michelle Doherty are like me- and we’re bright springs, that look good in black and orange. I thought I was a winter for years because I get complimented in bright cool tones.
@@klausbowpie sounds like you are a bright winter. Look up sister seasons. You can wear some colors in sister seasons as well if you want more options or for a different season ie darker or lighter shades.
I'm not sure navy blue vs baby blue helps in determining Winter vs Summer? I never wear navy blue as it looks bland on me but I'm most likely Bright Winter and not Summer.. Although I tan so much in summer and my hair gets reddish brown that only my eyes stand out xD plot twist: transiting from Winter to Summer literally? XD ahah
as a dark winter I truly believe in personal colour analysis cause I'd look fuglyyyy using the tones you're showing 💀 love me a black and deep blues tho
Something I’ve heard about the colors and still working with the closet you have is put “your colors” closer to your face and the colors that “aren’t yours” farther away from your face. Example being - purple tank on top with washed black jeans.
Another further tip to this is, if your top is not in your colour, then just wear a scarf around your neck that IS in your colour palette. That way you can still wear certain off-coloured tops that you love and have in your closet already.
this is the simple process that French women do, they hold a fabric up to their face to see if the colour suits. They don't follow complicated seasonal analysis and they have very versatile capsule wardrobes built on neutrals with a few accent colours.
I am also into color theory atm so this was very interesting to watch. I would love to see more like this, or maybe a thrifting video on your color palette. I also just want to credit you for how much effort you put into your videos, it does not go unnoticed. Love from Denmark :-*

it is totally amazing how your wardrobe already has many of your colors just from what you feel comfortable in! it completely makes sense! those colors truly fits you so well! love the outfits from the week!!
Just a note if you find yourself shopping for basics: white is not in any of the summer palettes, it is a bit too harsh (high contrast instead of muted.) Soft beige, sand, cool grays, and off-white are the light neutrals for summer. You look gorgeous in your colors, especially that periwinkle!
yeah immediately when you change from the black tshirt to the white tank with blue cardigan, your skin looks healthier, your makeup looks subtler, your hair looks richer, and the skin under your eyes brightens. I'm very curious if you did end up getting it professionally done if you'd still be a light summer, but I suspect it would given how AMAZING you look in that palette!!!
bro your whole wardrobe is already in your palete, i’m so jealous 😭😭 I recently learned that I am a Warm Spring, this palete has a lot of warm colours (like red, yellow, pink) and I pretty much only wear black (that is not in my pallet at all lol) it’s gonna be a long journey for me hahaha love your video 🤍

colorwise me isn’t best at telling you your color season but they have a section where you can try different pallets which is super helpful. it was hard to tell at first but I trained my eye by using it on celebrities who were already typed to see what happens when they wear right vs wrong colors
I personally never vibed with this whole "you're this season" thing. I get color theory and use it (or try to, lmao) when coordinating my outfits. However, I find it extremely easy to kinda change your whole palette -- it's amazing how much a blush, bronzer and/or liptint can do! I dunno, can anyone relate? BTW, Harriet, cannot believe you didn't wear some crazy heels on your "let's get sedated day" 😄
yes i totally agree! and when you dye your hair, your entire colour palette can change!! so it's definitely worth considering but taking with a grain of salt
Makeup can totally help with making any color look good on you. But color analysis is more about making your natural coloring look its best. When I got mine done the analyst said you should stick to your palette when it comes to things like loungewear, swim, lingerie, workout clothes etc. because you will look awesome without makeup!
Color analysis is literally a game changer!!! I never did quite figure out my seasonal color analysis (too cool for autumn/spring, not cool/bright enough for the winters, too highly contrasted and dark for the summers lol), but in David Zyla's color system, I am a Sunset Summer! It's basically a deeper, clearer jewel-toned Summer with a slight bit of added warmth. I had been trying to make Deep Autumn and Deep Winter work for years, and the wrong colors literally did make me look gaunt. I thought I was totally warm toned my whole life... but orange and yellow are my absolute worst colors lmao
i figured out my colour palette last year with that same website and have been trying to dress more in the soft autumn colours for the past 6 months or so and i just feel so much more comfortable in them! i obviously don't exclusively dress in colours within my palette because fashion should be fun and not restrictive and i also feel like the colour palette matters more for the clothes you wear on your upper body half since that frames your face more. and girl, you popped off with that wednesday fit with the blazer and shirt, it looks so good!!
I love color theory! I still wear a lot of black being a soft summer, but I've always loved soft muted colors too and had them in my wardrobe before finding my palette. My skin literally looks healthier and smoother when I wear mauve, it's pure magic 💀 Love how pastels look on you!
Okay but the app isn't how it's done. I honestly don't think you're a light summer because the primary characteristic of a light summer is lightness and you don't scream light. You can't look at someone and tell what their colour season is. You have to do the process on you. The outfit you wore is way to light for you. They are definitely not your colours. I would suggest you get a proper colour analysis done
This is fascinating. Going on the website and realising that the colours that I naturally gravitate towards are the ones that suit me most. Hooray for intuition, trial and error, and finally (after 36 years!) understanding what looks good on me!
Hi Harriet happy Monday morning and I hope you having amazing weekend and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you and this was amazing video I enjoy your channel
@@kendra555 I used "colorwise me" too and I got DA or DW, when I uploaded different pics. At least the site narrowed it down, so after that, I draped myself. I found that I'm definitely warm & look better w/ warm reds, yellows & oranges. After watching more vids, I've found that I am a mix of TA & DA - I can wear both palettes. Do draping (w/o makeup) & take pics. Analyze the pics - I found it effective. 😊
Lighting can really affect the test. The 12 season analysis does not work for everyone. I would always land in between treu winter and true summer and in a 16 tonal analysis that is exactly where I land, between the two seasons.
@@mamabear8373 yes. In the 16 season system, there's true cool (bet Su & W), true warm (A & Sp), true bright (W & Sp) & true muted/ soft (A & Su). They are in-transition types. Some analysts have typed Kate Middleton as soft summer, while others have typed her as true muted (in transition). I think she's true muted/ in transition type.
Try tucking in the shirt in the front on only one half! If you don’t button it all the way down this works nicely and gives you that cool Instagram feel you were going for (:
i’m a soft autumn and when i wear muted purple, mauve, olive green, n greyish blue i literally transform omg … the only downside is black rly does drain the life out of me and it’s unfortunate cuz i would wear it a lot more if it wasn’t so obvious skjdkd !!!! it really makes u feel a lot more like urself tho when ur wearing colors that don’t clash with u
same!! i’m a light summer and i’m so bummed because i’m super drawn to black and earth tones but it’s so obvious how much better i look when i wear my colors
also I just took that quiz and it said I was a deep winter? The colors it suggested are SO not my vibe and they said browns& neutrals wouldn’t be best but those are the ones I love. This may urge me to explore a bit more but I just love my neutrals so I won’t take it to heart too much haha. Overall this concept is super interesting and even if my results are not my cup of tea it’s cool to see
Maybe you should try a few more times to see if it consistently says the same thing!! Because it’s a website not a professional, I do think it’s not always going to be 100% correct xx
@@scrivspo good idea!! it could’ve been the lighting + I was wearing foundation in the picture. Plus I’m dying my hair rn so maybe that will impact it too lol
@@scrivspo well, dying my hair dark purple last night, And with a photo in good lighting, I have solidified dark winter. I’m gonna try to buy some clothes in my color chart the next time I go thrifting, but for now I’m sticking to my guns. I did wear light purple pants today tho, which is new for me (usually it’s all black, neutral patterns or jeans haha).
So I have your colouring naturally (a little paler!) but I dye my hair black. The chart was SPOT ON with what I look good in now, with my dyed gothy hair (purples, blacks, blues, burgundy) but I also love to put pastels with black...which might be left over from the fact that my natural hair is dark blonde? I wonder if I'm a hybrid of a summer and winter now because I was born a summer and goth'd myself...
Your color season is mostly based on the undertones of your skin. Even if you dye your hair a shade that is too dark to harmonize with your natural coloring, it doesn't change your season. Professional color analysts hide your hair to avoid skewing results.
I've watched a lot of these colour analysis videos and when they do the analysis in person, they always say that you can't do it online, as you need to see the colours of the fabric bounce off your face to create shade and light to truly see how they interact with your face and complexion. Just something to think about in the future for a more accurate result
I love wearing an oversized button down shirt as a top on its own, and I just tuck in one half into the jeans or skirt. That way it’s still very chill, but you mark your waist and make the legs look longer ❤
It tells me to avoid black and pastels. 90% of my wardrobe is black, LOL. It does tell me to wear mostly greens and earth tones, which is definitely something I can go for for the future.
@@scrivspo I know. Already knew I need darker tones, lighter ones just make me look washed out. So it mostly confirmed what I was wearing already, apart from telling me not to wear black.
This was super interesting! I'm Cool Winter, which reading through the colors they suggest it's bang on. Emerald, yes please. Buttercream yellow, sign me up. I'm essentially the opposite of you lol. I'm not going to go out of my way to get a whole new wardrobe but it does make sense with the colors I normally gravitate towards.
Love all these!! On the question you asked about styling the button down w the skirt (or otherwise), maybe consider a half tuck? Or full tuck. Could also tie the two front shirt pieces together in a little tie.
兰女利爪, doesn't make much sense but it's what it looks like to me (the third character looks off to me but it might just be one I don't know yet ) when I tried to google it I came up with eve except what I was looking for
🥰🥰🥰 Hi from across the globe!! I have a idea for a video, maybe you've already done it and I don't remember😬 to put your bf Ethan to choose your outfits for a week😬😁 just an idea. Love your videos!!😊
I wouldn’t say you’re a light summer, your hair is too contrasting with your skin tone. Light summers typically have light blonde hair close to their skin tone. Maybe you’re a soft summer. Many of the colors are similar…
The grey blazer at 9:07 is from a Chinese brand called 兰戈利尔 ;) I don't think they are around anymore - did a quick search on the internet, and nothing came back.
For the thursday outfit, why don't you tuck the shirt in? Eather fully or just the one side where the slit of the skirt is? Or tuck it in the back to make it open in the front like you wanted? Also I was waiting for yellow - with purple maybe?
if you wanna get collared shirts to stay open at the bottom without leaning your torso two feet behind your hips all day . . . try a bit of fashion/doublesided tape on your belly and at the button placket (i.e. that line down the front where it buttons together); or you could try a jacket clip in the back below the waist (or recreating that clip with a few hand stitches or safety pins).
I'm betting on dark autumn as my season. I don't trust colorme. It kept telling me I'm a dark winter but I know for a fact that the worst thing I can do is wear bright magenta. It's so opposite to my skin that it makes it turn dark green 😂
if u had tucked the green shirt into the purple skirt it would have taken the outfit up a notch, whilst elongating ur legs. u could even do a half tuck, or tied a knot at the front.
I would also try tucking in one side of that striped green shirt into the skirt and letting the other side hand loose. another crazy idea I've seen is buttoning the blouse to another blouse, maybe a neutral cream one, to make a large kind of blouse dress. still need to try it myself
I didn’t get it the first time either and it was genuinely the most pain I’ve ever been in 😭😭 I had to search super hard to find somewhere that would put me under because I was getting so much anxiety about doing it again!
Oh no!! Don’t be in crisis! I’d recommend watching my colour analysis session if you haven’t (it’s on my channel), it should help a lot. I’d recommend first figuring out if you’re warm or cool by holding up a warm and cool version of each colour to your face. Then you can figure out your season from there
I just did the test on the website and it said I'm a soft autum, I got professionally analized with the excat same picture as an true winter, so not sure how acurate it is.
oooooh i'm getting a few comments like this! i'm getting my colours professionally done this week and i'll film it for you guys, so we'll see what happens then!!
@@scrivspo Oh that’s awesome! I got mine done a few months ago, it was really helpful to see the colors draped in person, I could totally see which ones worked and didn’t. Still working on slowly changing out my wardrobe haha but it really is worth it!
You look so cuite. 😃Are you sure your colour analyses is correct? You have varm tone hair and it lookes like you wear more warm toned lipstick? you could be a warm autumn?
i'm getting a few comments like this! honestly no idea how trustworthy this website is, i'm getting my colours done properly this week so stay tuned to find out!!
@@scrivspo I tried one online colour analyse, and they came out wrong. I have cool undertone and they said I was a autumn. A personal test later showed I am a winter.
You look wonderful in your summer colors. I would avoid white unless surrounded by your colors. You look wonderful in periwinkle. The green bag is actually a warm green, but since it's an accessory I think it works well. The striped shirt outfit - I think it needs a longer skirt for more balance of color, and maybe a belt in a lavender. I will try the website you used. But I believe I am a Transitional, which is partly soft summer and partly soft autumn. There are colors in each of those palettes that I don't look good in, such as any lavenders are dreadful, and pastels in general wash me out, but in autumn the oranges and mustards don't look good but the olive greens and the browns and tans look great. So I use the aquas of summer and can wear both gold and silver jewelry as long as the finish is soft and not shiny. My hair and skin don't contrast much so I look best in midtones and muted colors. Clear colors totally wash me out, whether light or dark. Colors make such a difference in how we look and feel. Plus, knowing your colors really simplifies shopping, whether in new stores or thrifting. I just pass by all the black, all the purples, all the jewel tones, etc. because I know they're not for me. I think the simpler the color palette the more harmonious and powerful it is. Love your video! I just subscribed.
Very interesting! Apparently I'm a "soft summer". Used to HATE pink, now I quite like it haha, so maybe it's right lol. Loved your outfits in the video! 😊
That’s the same here, I got it done previously and it was so fkn painful 😭😭 I had to look very hard to find a place that offered it as a proper procedure. I can’t believe they expect people to do it with no pain meds, it makes me so upset
Hi there! The YT algorithm recommended your vid. I've been watching a lot of color analysis & draping vids lately. For greens & purples, since they are secondary colors, they can lean towards cool (more blue) or warm (more yellow for green, more red for purple). Since you have cool undertone (a summer), you should use the ones which have more blue in them. I'm an autumn (TA or DA). Colorwise typed me as either DA or DW but I'm definitely warm, so I go for the DA. Based on my contrast/ chroma, I'm more of TA than DA. I've discovered that I look great in mustard yellow & burnt/ rust orange. Don't wear those colors, though - they look terrible on summers & winters. Cheers to your color journey. You look great in your summer colors! 👍🏼💐
I tried it 3 times and got 3 different answers, I think it doesn't know what to do with me because I have naturally light hair but dark eyebrows and my hair is warm-toned but my skin is cool-toned. I wear what I want, lol.
12:11 secure the last button on the shirt behind your back without actually flipping the shirt and it’s should give you the look you’re wanting. I did this on vacation so hopefully that makes sense :)
Great video! This is the first video I've seen of yours and I was pleasantly surprised. For Thursday's outfit, adding a belt or a t-shirt cinch clip may help give you the open-middle silhouette you're looking for 😊
I think Thursday's outfit would look super cute if you tucked the shirt in, I think if the skirt sits at your waist then it would make a great silhouette. Also as a Warm Spring/Warm Autumn (I'm having trouble self diagnosing lol ) I'm obsessed with how pastels look on you, you really pull them off like no other!!
Great video! I'd like to see more stuff like this, I liked it. Maybe you can try exploring the other colors of the palette a bit more? For example the navy or dark brown, maybe mixed with some other/lighter colors.
Those blue/gray greens for the 3 kinds of summers are like magic if you have any redness to your face. I go to them all the time for tops when I'm feeling bleh.
This was such a fun video!! The outfits you could make up out of your closet were amazing and so appropriate! 🤯 If you cuff some of the sleeves on the longer items it could really round off an outfit. I'd love to see the Wednesday blazer cuffed with the pink sleeve making an appearance (I couldn't tell if the pink button up was a long sleeve) but you can cuff it over the blazer cuff with high tops to see more leg 😜 and for Tuesday you should try a French tuck! I'd love to see that too! Those colours are honestly the cutest! And you nailed the assignment! We love to see it! Love you!!
i would have LOVED to cuff the pink shirt, the one annoying thing about it is the sleeves are 3/4 length. it's the only thing i dislike about the shirt!!
This convinced me to do a colours test and I got dark winter and it genuinely makes so much sense! I’ve always been drawn to navy and I always have black in my closet so I loved this idea!!
your vids are always so good, love learning about personal colour analysis! found out i'm a deep winter with my natural hair, but cool summer now that my hair is hot pink!! sort of vibing both so i'm happy hahaha
Is it normal to get sedated for an IUD in Australia? I've wanted one but the pain of the procedure has really deterred me and I'm pretty sure most places in the U.S. don't offer you anything when you get one placed
Hey angel! No, unfortunately it’s not normal. I had the most painful experience EVER last time (just did it at my doctors office with no sedation or anything) so I had to hunt to find a place that would do it under sedation. I cannot believe the standard is to do it in a doctors office with no pain relief 😭
For the shirt/skirt you can do a "French tuck". If you want it to hang open you could pin a bit of fabric in the middle of your back so it hangs open more at the bottom.
Loved this! Agree the Wednesday outfit was 👌🏻I’m a soft summer, so share some of these colors. I would love to see you go down the kibbe or Kitchener rabbit hole next 😂
omggggg i definitely want to go down that rabbit hole - i'm just actually not sure where to start lol. i've tried SO HARD to figure out my body type and i can't hahaha. any tips?
@@scrivspo yeah, it is kind of hard to figure out. Maybe start with a quiz can help to narrow down and then maybe watching videos with a more specific question like difference between theatrical romantic and soft gamine or whatever you’re stuck between.
Hey, just a tip. If you want it to sort of be open on one side or give the illusion of it I like to keep the shirt unbuttoned at the bottom and only tuck in one side and let the other side hang loose :)
@scrivspo You're welcome! I'm actually trying to find my style and seeing how well pinterest outfits translates into irl, the shirt sort of off to the side style has annoyed me as well until I started half-tucking my shirts. Its also how I found your channel :P

This is fascinating. Going on the website and realising that the colours that I naturally gravitate towards are the ones that suit me most. Hooray for intuition, trial and error, and finally (after 36 years!) understanding what looks good on me!
hahaha yes agree!! so funny that we naturally gravitate towards what looks best without really knowing why
Omg I’m inspired to do this now
I feel like you’d be a light summer too!!
I’m a warm autumn apparently and I definitely agree with it! I’m 100% drawn to warm jewel tones
so fun!! i love autumn!
Hi Harriet happy Monday morning and I hope you having amazing weekend and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you and this was amazing video I enjoy your channel
thanks for your support edward!!
@@scrivspo of course sending you hugs ❤️ 🤗
tried using this website and i think my skin/hair/eye colors don’t translate well for them bc i kept getting different answers😂
super fun video tho!!
haha yep it definitely doesn't work for everyone. wear whatever makes you feel best!!!
I think she's true muted/ in transition type.
the characters of the gray blazer is 「兰戈利尔」which translates to The Langoliers (idk what that means lol) but it probably means it's from china
wowwww i really thought it was in english and i just couldnt read. so fascinating, thank you!
Try tucking in the shirt in the front on only one half! If you don’t button it all the way down this works nicely and gives you that cool Instagram feel you were going for (:
thank you!!
i’m a soft autumn and when i wear muted purple, mauve, olive green, n greyish blue i literally transform omg … the only downside is black rly does drain the life out of me and it’s unfortunate cuz i would wear it a lot more if it wasn’t so obvious skjdkd !!!! it really makes u feel a lot more like urself tho when ur wearing colors that don’t clash with u
Tooootally agree with you! Black washes me out too, so sad hahaha
same!! i’m a light summer and i’m so bummed because i’m super drawn to black and earth tones but it’s so obvious how much better i look when i wear my colors
For Thursday’s outfit, I think tucking it in but pulling it so it’s a lil baggy (like a puffy tuck thing?) would maybe work??
also I just took that quiz and it said I was a deep winter?
@@MeganJester hahaha i'm sure it will
@@scrivspo well, dying my hair dark purple last night, And with a photo in good lighting, I have solidified dark winter. I’m gonna try to buy some clothes in my color chart the next time I go thrifting, but for now I’m sticking to my guns. I did wear light purple pants today tho, which is new for me (usually it’s all black, neutral patterns or jeans haha).
THE WEDNESDAY FIT SLAYS
So glad u appreciate it!!! My new fave outfit
Just found out last week that I was a true autumn when I've been wearing black all my life😂
hahaha it really shakes up ur life doesn't it
You should do a video where u wear colours that light summers shouldn’t wear idk just a suggestion. Hope u have a great day ❤
That’s a really fun idea!!!
I wonder if I'm a hybrid of a summer and winter now because I was born a summer and goth'd myself...
omg kinda love this for you!! i want to dye my hair brown soon and i wonder if my chart will change too lol
@@scrivspo I bet you'll also just look good in more colours and unlock all the secrets
Your color season is mostly based on the undertones of your skin. Even if you dye your hair a shade that is too dark to harmonize with your natural coloring, it doesn't change your season. Professional color analysts hide your hair to avoid skewing results.
The blazer’s name is in stylised Chinese characters, i think it says Lan Wen Li Er 😊 but that doesn’t really help 😅
omg i THOUGHT it wasn't english! but it looked so close to english that i wasn't sure hahaha!
I've watched a lot of these colour analysis videos and when they do the analysis in person, they always say that you can't do it online, as you need to see the colours of the fabric bounce off your face to create shade and light to truly see how they interact with your face and complexion. Just something to think about in the future for a more accurate result
yess i totally agree that these aren't the most accurate! i'm getting my colours tested next week properly by a professional, so stay tuned!
Truly inspired to find out my colours ❤️
Especially because I plan on having the one hair colour for the next while 😅
yayyy yes do it! let me know what u get xx
I love wearing an oversized button down shirt as a top on its own, and I just tuck in one half into the jeans or skirt. That way it’s still very chill, but you mark your waist and make the legs look longer ❤
Yesss that sounds very cute 💙💙
It tells me to avoid black and pastels.
90% of my wardrobe is black, LOL.
It does tell me to wear mostly greens and earth tones, which is definitely something I can go for for the future.
hahaha definitely take it with a grain of salt and wear whatever makes you feel good!
I'm not going to go out of my way to get a whole new wardrobe but it does make sense with the colors I normally gravitate towards.
love this!! cool winter is such a cool colour palette, i'm jealous lol
@@scrivspo haha, if only I had style. Loved the outfits you put together. Love a good pastel.
Enjoyed this video as always :) gonna go take the color quiz now lol
Yasss let me know what you are!!
You may have heard this before, but you look like a younger Alicia Silverstone.
10:10 loooove the outfit as well
I have heard this! It’s the biggest compliment ever!!!
Love all these!! On the question you asked about styling the button down w the skirt (or otherwise), maybe consider a half tuck? Or full tuck. Could also tie the two front shirt pieces together in a little tie.
Great idea!!!
兰女利爪, doesn't make much sense but it's what it looks like to me (the third character looks off to me but it might just be one I don't know yet ) when I tried to google it I came up with eve except what I was looking for
so interesting!!
🥰🥰🥰
Hi from across the globe!!
I have a idea for a video, maybe you've already done it and I don't remember😬 to put your bf Ethan to choose your outfits for a week😬😁 just an idea.
Love your videos!!😊
such a great idea!! i'll tell ethan hehe
@@scrivspo you are NOT READY for the fits im about to put together.
I wouldn’t say you’re a light summer, your hair is too contrasting with your skin tone. Light summers typically have light blonde hair close to their skin tone. Maybe you’re a soft summer. Many of the colors are similar…
I got my colours done professionally yesterday!! Stay tuned for the video xx
The grey blazer at 9:07 is from a Chinese brand called 兰戈利尔 ;) I don't think they are around anymore - did a quick search on the internet, and nothing came back.
Thank you so much for translating! I genuinely thought they were really wonky English characters so I’m very glad you helped hahaha xxx
For the thursday outfit, why don't you tuck the shirt in? Eather fully or just the one side where the slit of the skirt is? Or tuck it in the back to make it open in the front like you wanted?
Also I was waiting for yellow - with purple maybe?
i neeeeed to buy some yellow! i don't own a single yellow item of clothing lol!!
if you wanna get collared shirts to stay open at the bottom without leaning your torso two feet behind your hips all day . . . try a bit of fashion/doublesided tape on your belly and at the button placket (i.e. that line down the front where it buttons together); or you could try a jacket clip in the back below the waist (or recreating that clip with a few hand stitches or safety pins).
That is actually genius!! I’ve never thought of double sided tape!!
I'm betting on dark autumn as my season.
I don't trust colorme. It kept telling me I'm a dark winter but I know for a fact that the worst thing I can do is wear bright magenta. It's so opposite to my skin that it makes it turn dark green 😂
I feel like generally we know what works best for us!! trust your gut!
loved all the outfits!!! they were so cute🥹🤌🏻 brb gonna go and see what my color palette is hehe
Omg let me know what urs is!!
I am cool winter and my colour palette makes me realize why i love hot pink so much lately🫣
yaassss i love hot pink!
Any US girlies jealous over the sedation with IUD? 😂😅
I can’t believe we are expected to go through that pain without sedation!!! It’s unbelievable 😭
I’m a dude and I just… cannot figure this out. I have no clue what colors I would look good in.
aw it honestly would be worth going to a professional to help you!
if u had tucked the green shirt into the purple skirt it would have taken the outfit up a notch, whilst elongating ur legs. u could even do a half tuck, or tied a knot at the front.
i did try it and i felt like it looked a bit weird, but i'll give it another go! sometimes tucked in things just don't sit right on me hahaha
I would also try tucking in one side of that striped green shirt into the skirt and letting the other side hand loose. another crazy idea I've seen is buttoning the blouse to another blouse, maybe a neutral cream one, to make a large kind of blouse dress. still need to try it myself
wowww have to try both of these things!!
I never got sedation getting my IUD or getting it switched to a new one a few years later, I now feel cheated 😂
I didn’t get it the first time either and it was genuinely the most pain I’ve ever been in 😭😭 I had to search super hard to find somewhere that would put me under because I was getting so much anxiety about doing it again!
such a good video. I still don't know my color palette but after watching this, now I know I'm definitely not a light summer LOL
i feel like you'll be an autumn or winter!!!
i'm currently in crisis - i dont know what season i am!!!!
I’m going to get it professionally done next week! I agree it’s probably not that accurate lol
Yeah I would definitely not trust the apps
Color wise always gets me wrong. I'm an autumn but it's trying to say I'm a summer 😂. You guys should definitely go to professionals instead.
i am next week!! can't wait to film it!
@@scrivspo fantastic ✨
Honestly think the outfit you had on in the beginning looked the best. lol
hahahaha really??
I would have guessed you were a spring, you look warm and bright to me! The summer clothes look good but I think some of them washed you out a bit!
oooooh i'm getting a few comments like this! i'm getting my colours professionally done this week and i'll film it for you guys, so we'll see what happens then!!
@@scrivspo Oh that’s awesome! I got mine done a few months ago, it was really helpful to see the colors draped in person, I could totally see which ones worked and didn’t. Still working on slowly changing out my wardrobe haha but it really is worth it!
We have the same coloring!
Yayyy twins!!?
You pop in your colors. Black makes you look tired.
thank you! i agree!
absolutely DYING at the blazers brand name
Why did they try write it in ancient cryptic characters 💀
Thank you so much for your thoughts! I got my colours done professionally yesterday and I filmed the entire thing. So stay tuned ❤️❤️
I think you are light spring 🥰
i'm getting it professionally done this week and i'll film the whole thing so we can all find out together!
I think your more a True Summer, because Carol Bailey says Light Summers are always light blondes, but def. on the right track.
ooooh interesting!! i'm actually going to get my colours properly done so we'll see what they say!
Very interesting! Apparently I'm a "soft summer". Used to HATE pink, now I quite like it haha, so maybe it's right lol. Loved your outfits in the video! 😊
Yay for summers!!!
In the US an IUD insertion or removal is just a doctor's office visit. A lot of places won't even give you pain medicine for it. It's awful.
thanks for your comment! this is really helpful to know!!
I tried it 3 times and got 3 different answers, I think it doesn't know what to do with me because I have naturally light hair but dark eyebrows and my hair is warm-toned but my skin is cool-toned. I wear what I want, lol.
hahahaha. yes, take it with a grain of salt and wear whatever you like!
12:11 secure the last button on the shirt behind your back without actually flipping the shirt and it’s should give you the look you’re wanting. I did this on vacation so hopefully that makes sense :)
Ooooh smart!!! Thank u!
This was such an interesting video. I’m also interested in dressing more specifically in my color palette . You looks great in every outfit
thank you, i'm so glad you enjoyed!
Omg I always used to wonder how to find my color palette thank you for plugging in that website
you're welcome!! it's definitely not the most accurate but hopefully it helps you!
Great video! This is the first video I've seen of yours and I was pleasantly surprised. For Thursday's outfit, adding a belt or a t-shirt cinch clip may help give you the open-middle silhouette you're looking for 😊
Thank you!!
I think Thursday's outfit would look super cute if you tucked the shirt in, I think if the skirt sits at your waist then it would make a great silhouette. Also as a Warm Spring/Warm Autumn (I'm having trouble self diagnosing lol ) I'm obsessed with how pastels look on you, you really pull them off like no other!!
omg thank u so much im honoured!! and i think you're right about the silhouette
For the Thursday outfit you can pull the shirt behind and button once, that way you have the influencer look with the shirt pulling back.
love this idea!
Great video! I'd like to see more stuff like this, I liked it. Maybe you can try exploring the other colors of the palette a bit more? For example the navy or dark brown, maybe mixed with some other/lighter colors.
oooh yes this is a great idea!
GIRL the Thursday outfit was👏so👏good👏 (actually all of them were) but anyways absolutely stan
thank you bestie!!!
Omg when you showed those green colors I immediately thought about that cardigan!!
I’m still shocked by how well the colours match!?!?
Those blue/gray greens for the 3 kinds of summers are like magic if you have any redness to your face. I go to them all the time for tops when I'm feeling bleh.
i have sooo much redness to my face and i agree i love them so much!
Love you!!
i would have LOVED to cuff the pink shirt, the one annoying thing about it is the sleeves are 3/4 length. it's the only thing i dislike about the shirt!!
the website crashed
Oh nooo
I am supposedly a deep winter, but some of the colours they told me to stay away from still look good on me.
i think it's important to take the website with a grain of salt and just wear what you want 💓
This convinced me to do a colours test and I got dark winter and it genuinely makes so much sense! I’ve always been drawn to navy and I always have black in my closet so I loved this idea!!
aw yay! it's so funny how you naturally gravitate towards what looks best!
hi i'm soft spring & i enjoyed this vid so much!! really loved the first outfit omg i need to put a similar look for myself 🌸✨
Soft spring has to be the prettiest name out of all of them!!! 🌸🌸
your vids are always so good, love learning about personal colour analysis! found out i'm a deep winter with my natural hair, but cool summer now that my hair is hot pink!! sort of vibing both so i'm happy hahaha
oooh i love this for you! both such beautiful palettes!
Your looks of the week are so cohesive! In addition to the colours, I really like the proportions in your outfits, very well balanced.
this is so sweet, thank you!!
Awesome video. ✨I'm warm autumn, and this totally fits the colours I lean to anyway. Thank you!
aw yayyy! it's so cool that most of the time we lean towards our colour palettes!

ugh i love dark winter!!!!
I literally felt so anxious at the thought of having to go through that pain again so I feel you
What a fun video! I got Deep Winter and it's funny to see most of the colours are stuff I wear already 😂
i looooove deep winter! such a beautiful palette!
For the shirt/skirt you can do a "French tuck". If you want it to hang open you could pin a bit of fabric in the middle of your back so it hangs open more at the bottom.
thank youuu!!
@scrivspo You're welcome! I hope you get the style result you were after!
Thank you!!
@scrivspo You're welcome! I'm actually trying to find my style and seeing how well pinterest outfits translates into irl, the shirt sort of off to the side style has annoyed me as well until I started half-tucking my shirts.
