What is crazy: for those who don’t know, this course just a few years later had another perfect 18. Greg Newport who spoke on this video is the most recent one.
The FIRST Perfect 18 was almost shot in Dallas in 1973 by Wayne Anderson. He came to the last hole of a Pepsi $200 tournament and missed the putt by 3/4 of an inch.
I held the course record at Seminary South - Fort Worth #3 for a few months with a 23 in 1973 at 18 years old. My friend Mike Baldoza won the PPA World Championship (also at 18 yrs old) that same summer with a $50,000 first prize, the largest in Putt Putt history. He bought a Corvette that he drove to the course one day. That was awesome!
