Brian, I don't think that's how it works. You just cleared the codes so it's going to take a few days or even a week, depending on how much you drive the car, for the codes to appear again, isn't it?
I was gonna mention the same thing some of these other guys said. I am working on a GM vehicle right now with those same codes and before I replace anything I always clear the codes while I am hooked up. They most of the time clear right away and these did. This does not mean it’s fixed, I will take a drive cycle or two for the PCM to recognize the issue again and throw the same codes. Gas caps usually do not fix these codes, it’s more the Large Evap leak that it could fix but not always.
I have something better then that OBD scanner, being paid to show and get others to buy , I tell all you guys don’t buy it to can get a iPad scanner for the price of that scanner for sure

Turn out to be a fuel tank sending unit giving off the code.
Not fixed cause the car have to go through it's checks again
