    Arib Saab, best wishes you all: Grace, mercy and peace from God our Father.
    The video es extremely effective in showing the GTD Filing Methodology. Perhaps even better than many videos by the very Author of the system. Thank you so much.

    Arif, I don't know how to say this but your talking pace is really good. Are you a teacher for a long time ?
    For the mobile workers, what is your opinion about scanning reference documents using the GTD system ?

    • @CalmAchiever
      @CalmAchiever  2 года назад

      Hey darkdepth,
      Scanning reference documents is a GREAT idea. Just ensure you have a smooth workflow to scan and file things easily. IF it's a LOT of trouble to scan, you'll not do it and stuff will start to pile-up.
      I'm currently working on a video how to reference stuff digitally. Should be up by end of this month.
      Thanks so much on my talking pace 😊. Yeah, I LOVE learning & teaching. It's my calling.

    Arif what do you do if something is “critical” like a birth certificate or a diploma? Or what do you do for things that are Area of Focus related - like Health, or Bills. Where do they go? Also how many documents do we put in 1 file?

    • @CalmAchiever
      @CalmAchiever  2 года назад

      Hey S3,
      My children birth certificates are in the same filing system.
      In the past prior to GTD, I had my educational certificates in nearly plastic folders within a box file. If required I would not hesitate to do that now. But I don’t find that necessary.
      Other critical documents, eg title deeds of properties go in a separate cupboard.
      For Health I have several folders:
      - one called “Articles-Health”. Where I used to put Articles, webpages reg health and fitness there.
      - one called “Prescriptions & Reports” so all past prescriptions and medical reports go there.
      How many documents in a file:
      As many as the file can take.
      Just ensure that the drawer is 75% full. That way it’s easier to operate the drawer. There is no resistance to file and retrieve.

      @@CalmAchiever Thank you, this helps :) although most of my stuff is digital or digitised (way fewer space constraints), I need to get my physical papers in order. Which I will now do.

    Hello, Where can we get this hanging file system in India?
    Also, if we have existing vertical filing cabinets installed, can this system be implemented then also?

    • @CalmAchiever
      @CalmAchiever  4 года назад

      Hi Harish,
      The Mercury Filing cabinet you can get from Pan Office Systems www.panfurniture.com/
      The Surya hanging Pocket folders should be available at most local stationary stores. Either they have it or can arrange for it. I'm based in Bangalore so it's easy to get it here.
      Regarding Vertical Filing cabinet, in my view, this system would be difficult to implement because they're usually big and bulky. Those cabinets take a whole wall. Therefore it's not easy to file & easy to retrieve while sitting in your chair. But give it a try, see if it works for you. Then post your experience about it here.
      Cheerio,
      Arif
