So cool have eaten many cholla buds spent time with some Pima Native Americans in the des would boil then roast eat with mesquite flour tortillias yum my dad planted cholla under all the bedroom windows to prevent his 6 boys from slipping out at night from 1972 to 1990 that never worked but he kept trying, bless his heart good food for people with blood sugar issues THANKS for your informative shows cfc

That is why one should take pliers and duct tape when hiking with a dog, especally with one that likes to collect cholla , my dogs never did bring home that cool cholla wood. It is refered to as the jumping cactus. Thanks again cfc
