Jon Sikes did you get your board made? Im Mrs. PDR by the way, LOL, if you have any questions regarding the boards, we have all kinds of spare parts and I’ve actually personally rewired a couple of them because they are $500 each end I would highly highly recommend Elimadent, and as Garth said deal with the man named James, he’s been excellent us
Yumn Bibou Thanks for watching yeah I have a lot of brow work on camera in my more recent videos. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.👍
Ive bought the glue kit but still wanting to learn more before I use it on my car. These videos help so much. The hammer tapping is something that I have no idea how to do
I like what you said about how you learned on your own and and how your not glassing it out just quick and simple give them a decent job and every ones happy😎
Ahmed thank you for your comment that was so kind of you! I’m Mrs. PDR by the way. I make the videos. But I also have been standing over his shoulder for nearly 7 years watching every tap and move he makes, so I feel confident and giving some advice. That being said Always start from the outside and work your way in, make sure you find out or investigate the direction of the impact, because just due to physics it’s a lot easier to remove the dent if you try to pull it back out the way it was put in if you know what I mean
Hi Willie, Mrs. PDR here, what kind of kit did you get? I only ask because I do all the investigating and ordering for the tools that we have, and I might be able to give you some good pointers, since we’ve had our fair share of trial and error with tools...Word to the wise though, don’t go through Amazon
@Gil Aylett I do all the ordering for Lee sorts of things and that’s the first I’ve ever heard of this methylated glue remover, we typically just use the 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and it works phenomenally. I am curious though about this product you speak of. Is it highly toxic? We try to do things as natural as possible
DRB everybody gets nervous about the tapping! It’s normal, but Garth has dozens of tips that were specialty made just for this purpose. And he’s at the skill level where he knows exactly how much force needs to be used in tapping. And this is actually a pretty old video, you should check out some of the newer ones, we’ve upgraded it quite a bit of our tools and his skill level is top notch
I tried it in my car, but the glue remained strongly attached to the sheet, what was the fault? Was it the temperature of my gun? Was it too hot? thank you for share your job.
Juan Figueroa Tough to say. The Glues all have different temperature and humidity readings for your region. I also don't let the glue set for more than a minute or two I usually pull it after about 25 or 30 seconds sometimes quicker. The products I use for glue pulling are mainly from the Keco corporation. they have very high-quality products. Thanks for watching I have lots of glue pulling videos.👍
Great work! I've been watching your videos which is very informative on how to tackle different types of dents. Just ordered at glue type puller and will be trying it out on my cars.
That’s awesome, let me know how that glue puller works! Make sure you only use the right kind of glue, the glue I typically use is called black plague from Keco. It’s absolutely necessary to have the right glue, as some is VERY difficult to remove from the tabs. I always use 99.9% alcohol I get off amazon to remove any residue and it works much better than the 91, or 70%. Another tip, never use glue pulling system on a non-factory paint job it may have a tendency to pull the paint off. Good luck my friend thanks for watching we really appreciate it! Let me know how it works.
Just tried the puller with feet either side of the car dent. Glue sticks to car but not the plastic button . Am I doing something wrong. Also when your using the pointed punch what stops it damaging the paint.
janice cowan Leaving the glue on the car and pulling off the tab is probably the best because then you can just remove the glue with isopropyl alcohol. As far as the tapper I use either a soft squishy tip or a really smooth plastic one and I don't hit very hard. Thank you so much for watching and commenting 👍 hopefully the videos help.
Wow amaaazing what you accomplished in that short of time,I'm waiting for my flattening toolz to arrive do I can work out some dents on my vehicles, cheers👌
James Arthur Thanks for watching and commenting James. I think there are a few good companies out there that sell glue pulling kits and accessories. Some of my glue pulling videos tell all the companies that I currently use. thanks for watching👍
@@jamesarthur3563 since I do all the ordering I will let you know LOL. Usually we go through companies; namely, Elimadent, Stanliner, A1 tools, And there’s a couple more I can’t think of off hand. When using the glue don't go nuts and clean the car /tab with rubbing alcohol. It removes the grease and oils so the glue gets a better hold. Don't push hard as it creates a try thinner layer of glue.
@Keventh Campoverde I found it on Amazon, you can get a 48 ounce bottle for about $30 or so I believe. But will use it for everything because it leaves zero residue and you wanna make sure it’s 99.9%. Just get on Amazon and type in 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and you’ll find what you’re looking for. It’s amazing
Thank you captain ADHD!! Yeah I have that too! ADHD LOL, Garth’s the master at taking the dents out; Don’t let me near those suckers, I Have a tendency to be a bit heavy handed LOL I am the master at taking the engines apart and putting it back together, we rubber band each other

GATO0421 I probably charged around 300 on that dent but yes, any good body shop would be up to $2500 to repaint the side of that car. Thanks for watching and commenting👍
@GATO0421 Believe it or not, some of the dent repairs that we been doing lately have been creeping close to that price range! people are willing to pay it because of the fact is that a body shop will charge quadruple and keep your car for weeks, end up repainting it and not matching the color properly, and we get it done in a day and go right to their house. So there is something to be said for the cost of convenience. And there’s something to be said for being a mobile company because people appreciate when you will come to them and they don’t have to leave their home or leave their car somewhere
Duane Shadd May hammering and tapping is usually bringing down the browse or the high spots in the metal and allowing the middle to flow and move. The whole thing about Dents is pushing up from the bottom and tapping down from the top until the surface is pretty much even again. Thanks so much for watching hope the videos are helpful👍
