Put some dents in my fender and with this I feel like I'll get them out with limited tools, appreciate the free content. Seriously I don't think people realize you and others put a ton of information out on RUclips that would usually cost a shit load of time and or money to learn , so again thank you .
I am not a professional bodyman but I learned more watching this one video of yours than I have watching any other person on RUclips you truly know your craft and also how to show exactly what you are doing so someone else can learn from it
thank you, im a mobile paint repair guy if you can call it that and started pdr by myself with some tools but got so much to learn anyway nice work man.. all the best.

Thank you so much, man. You’re a great teacher, very easy to follow and great voice. Learned a lot here. Much success wished to you with your endeavors-you deserve it. Thank you for your service as a Marine for our great country 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Jesse, the investment won’t amount to much, and only what you need! I just want people to have baseline knowledge before coming to see me in person. That way your time and money is spent polishing rather than the very beginning building blocks. I want people to be successful at this, and not feel like they’ve been taken.

@Draven Adonis I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I’d check out www.realworldpdr.com This can be a tricky job. Make sure you’ve got all your info before digging into your own truck! PDR monthly will give you access to all the content you’d need to start learning!
Thank you sir. I just bought a kit and had no idea how, what, and why are the reasons for so many pieces. You answered all my questions in great detail.
Awesome man! Head over to www.realworldpdr.com for more info, pdr 101 will cover all of the basics, and pdr monthly will set you on your way to a career if you’re interested!
Turbocast I appreciate the support so much! The beautiful thing about this, is we can tailor a program just for you. If you’ve got the basics down, you won’t have to pay for them. If you want to do retail work, you won’t have to pay for all the Hail Damage training courses. By the time you make it for one on one training, you’ll already have the building blocks learned and I can help pull you to the next level. That way when you leave me you’ll be able to start a real PDR business, or be so close you can taste it. Armed with all the knowledge and skills to make it successful!
Do you think that an Amazon PDR dent pull kit (SuperPDR) is good enough for a starter kit for a beginner? I noticed that the tap downs is a hard plastic. I’m thinking about giving it a shot plus checking out your online workshop.
Old video, but have you tried the Keco precision pulling base for the mini lifter (or dent gun) ?? Pretty sure it wasn't around when you made this. It reduces the volcano effect, very good for those small sharper deeper dents.
Hi, I have a huge dent in my roof that covers the rear left quarter of the roof. It includes sharp creases at the left roof rail. it's on an '84 VW Jetta. Can I fix this with minimal PDR tools?
Awesome quality video well done i actually thought i was repairing that dent . I don’t know how some one could give you a thumbs down keep up the great work 👍
Haha. That was a fella who was upset that I’m going to have to start charging a nominal amount for full in depth lessons. I’m trying to get people to be “good” before they come for in person training so their money is better spent and they are more successful. Oh.... and it’ll be significantly more affordable than any other good training around. Talking 7-12 dollars for 15 years of experience from an “industry leader” (title still makes me feel weird), and videos that take me 10+ hrs a piece to make. Also tie up my staff at the shop, etc. etc. he was a bit entitled and we aren’t going to worry about him lol. He told me he was going back to watching PDR Peterson..... 👍🏼👍🏼 good luck bud. 😂😂. Thank you so much for your continued support! Please let me know how you think I can improve for you!
Great video and very informative. What is the difference between round and square tabs? And is it worth investing in square tabs as I've only came across round tabs. Many thanks.
+steven bewick there’s not a ton of difference. Honestly you won’t notice any. If you’re having trouble finding square, just forget about them they aren’t necessary.
I’m completely untrained but would love to learn. Can’t really afford the hands on but can’t afford not to take advantage of the videos. Would like to get more information on tools, what to purchase and where to get them from. Thanks for your time
Hi, great video, didn't find an answer for this in the comments, but can I use regular hot glue gun glue? Or do I need to buy some special glue? Do you know if this glue also will release when applying isopropyl alcohol?
+Gacha Boy Johnson that one unfortunately is no longer produced. It was knockoff, produced by dent technologies before they went out of business. The original was cobra tools. A light that’s built similar with similar fade can be purchased from Druz tools.
We get that a lot from body shop owners. There’s some very specific tips and tricks for you guys to do it successfully. Hit up www.Realworldpdr.com that will get you well on your way. And when you’re ready we do offer in person training.
Hey feel free to get ahold of me at Denttoolsfreak@gmail.com There are several packages available and we just need to find the one that suits you the best. Either way they are each and every one the best value in the market. look forward to hearing from you.
+Johnny Knoxville more than likely yes. I’d have to see a picture to know for sure. Feel free to email me at Denttoolsfreak@gmail.com with a picture and your city and state, and I’ll find a good tech for you.
i think it is better to heat up the area your going to apply the glued tab to first, then after applying the tab is to cool the area down quickly with either cold water in a spray bottle or liquid gas refill for lighter really cools it down making the glue harden real quick. The connection between the glued tab and the surface your pulling is far superior and reduces the wait time to ready for a pull instantly especially with the liquid fuel freezing it making the glue solid. Try it and see for yourself the difference, you'll never do it that way again. Eagle One Over and out
Hahaha I’m never above learning something. But tabweld has like a 6-7 second dry time. I’m not sure by the time I grab my lifter if I need it any faster
I didn’t, I did have to use some compound and a buffer to buff those impact marks off of the panel though. I use a DA buffer instead of rotary, to avoid any paint damage. Never claimed to be an expert in buffing!!! 🤣😂🤣

Awesome! I love it when that happens! You know how to reach me if you need help!
Nicely done 👍
This may be a stupid question but ill ask anyway..how far away should the light source be from the dent. I have elimadent 14 inch board
Good job..where are you located?
Muy buen trabajo, por favor añádele subtitulo en español a sus videos, gracias.
I have this long dent crease that I would love to get off. I would love to learn from you cause you seem you know your stuff.
How to prevent stretching the metal when glue pull that many times?
Just don’t pull too hard. You can back and forth for a long while without stretching. One huge overpull and you’ll stretch it immediately
Really good video. Truth. No BS.
굿 good job 👍
Thank you for video.
New to your videos, nice demo of years of experience. Subscribed.
When do use a lifter instead of a slide hammer?
Excellent job bro with all detail
Thanks alot I'm learning on it videos

thank jim great job. how about sharp dent with pain cracked in the centre?

I’ve got a video coming just for that.

@@pelican7481 I found a nice little starter set on Amazon, I've got a couple of dings I'm going to work on soon.
Hi, great video, didn't find an answer for this in the comments, but can I use regular hot glue gun glue? Or do I need to buy some special glue? Do you know if this glue also will release when applying isopropyl alcohol?
Regular glue gun will work, regular glue has inconsistent drying times and often isn’t the right hardness vs elasticity for pulling panela
Fantastic, you are good.
Thank you!
Thank you! Good job.
Thank you for watching! Means the world to me!
Thanks for the vid, very good info!

90 percent isopropyl. That’s all you need
Thank you
How long did this dent take you to finish?
How much do you charge for the training ?
What solvent do you use to remove glue. Thanks
That’d be isopropyl alcohol 91%

Awwww shucks..... sure.
I generally try not to, but if I’m going to torment myself making RUclips videos, might as well double down and do everything.
Good job A+++
The other PDR techs have used Heating Gun but You never used it. What is the difference?
I do use it, generally with glue pulling it’s a bad idea. Your glue will never hardeb
You don’t use heat to make the process easier?
Heat and glue don’t mix well. It’d be a never ending runny glue bonanza
It seems like the PDR training industry is bigger than the PDR industry lol
Does it?
Why do you feel like that?
How much for that dent?
50 dollars ?
Thank you too.
Did you have to wetsand with 2000 and buff ???

Check out Anson PDR. that place only stocks good stuff.
so u pull and tap the sides(always moving and taping?) to make the dent easier to pull? is that how u take most pulling dents out
That’s very situational but as I teach on www.realworldpdr.com that’s dependent upon what the dent is telling you about the pressures, and forces at play. With sharp dents requiring multiple pulls, yes.
👌👍👍👍👍👍👍
I thought it will less work if you remove the fender
That’s a quarter panel. It’d have to be cut off
