I was lucky enough to see him 3 times and of all the concerts I have seen in my lifetime, those three are at the very top of my list. There will never be another Freddie. I cried the day we lost him. I still find myself getting emotional when I watch videos. Thanks for the cry Rebeka.
I’m the same! This was an awesome concert! I took loads of photos and put them in a book but my parents moved around a lot and lost them in transit! All I have left is a reject picture that is all shaky and blurred!

Freddie had FULL control of the crowd. He was in top form. They stole the show that day. Its called the greatest rock performance of all time. And I have seen the remaining members with Lambert twice. And once when Paul Rogers sang on their first tour after Freddie died, and it was awesome. Of course nothing like Freddie but Lambert does an awesome job also.
A studio band of course, well written and creative songs. But live these guys are able to top that level, Freddy with his voice and the natural entertainment skills he was born with together three other very talented musicians brought so much to the people, to the crowd. They will never be forgotten.
I was so lucky as I went to few of their concerts in different countries, and never ever did I see them come on stage and sing their hits, no, they did a performance every time, I didn't realize at the time how lucky I was, but god I miss those times so much, I love watching these reactions, and yours Rebeka are some of the best, please keep them coming, and let more people appreciate just how great this group was

Can you believe that? There were periods of time when Queen wasn´t very popular. Today we all know it better...
Anything from this Wembley concert is worth watching. Freddie is at his charismatic best, the crowd would walk over hot coals for him. They opened the show with One Vision and the audience were immediately whipped into a frenzy. Under Pressure, and Now I’m Here my personal favourite just because of the high energy. Still remember like yesterday the very first time i listened to A Kind Of Magic on the Top 20 and saw the great video clip in 86, just released.... I got the album immediately on my way to school the next Monday morning... 😋 While i love every single year of the 80's ,1986 will always be the "magic year" of the 80's for me.... Not only because of this album (and the Wembley gig) but all the amazing songs and albums that came out and came on the charts that year, it was insane.... like a tsunami of great music week after week... 😄 There will never be another band like Queen, and there will never be another singer/musician/frontman/showman like Freddie.... He is one of those souls that come only once in a lifetime. I also still unfortunately remember like yesterday that sad evening on the 24th November 1991, having dinner with my parents and watching the evening news when, out of the blue, came the news: "singer Freddie Mercury died of aids...", i was in absolute shock and denial... I had to me a mistake, how could it be... he was so young... so healthy...., like... No..., impossible... It took a while to sink in and realize that it was real... i must have been in shock with tears in my eyes cause i remember my mum asking me if i was alright... 😢 I still can't watch the Days Of Our Lives video without crying....
Without a doubt, Queen really knew how to pull on a show. Obviously Freddie Mercury gets a lot of credit and deservedly so. But a warm round of applause also to guys like Roger Taylor, John Deacon and of course Dr Brian May on lead guitar. Don't really know if it's just a coincidence but a there seems to be quite a lot of young boys in our area who have been named Freddie by their parents in the last 5-10 years or so.👍🤝👏🤫😜

In 1976 I was in London on honeymoon from South Africa we took our clothes to the hotel in Paddington the decided to go for a walk about and came upon Hyde Park and notice towers erected loads of speakers So being nosey I asked someone about them😂 and they told me Queen were performing a free concert later. Needless to say that was the end of our walkabout Honeymoon complete
HEY Honey, Did you notice when Freddie's mic cut out in the middle of the song? I have so much RESPECT for how masterfully they could carry on a show even when things went wrong. AND, that aforementioned "snafu" also tipped me off that this is a "pre-overdubbed" Wembley video... Which is AWESOME and pretty uncommon, I think. In 1976 I was in London on honeymoon from South Africa we took our clothes to the hotel in Paddington the decided to go for a walk about and came upon Hyde Park and notice towers erected loads of speakers So being nosey I asked someone about them😂 and they told me Queen were performing a free concert later. Needless to say that was the end of our walkabout Honeymoon complete

HEY Honey, Did you notice when Freddie's mic cut out in the middle of the song? I have so much RESPECT for how masterfully they could carry on a show even when things went wrong. AND, that aforementioned "snafu" also tipped me off that this is a "pre-overdubbed" Wembley video... Which is AWESOME and pretty uncommon, I think. (Most of the 1986 Queen Wembley videos on YT have "overdubbing" audio corrections)💕🖖
