Nice!!! I sometimes think about decorating cakes again. Haven't done it in 25yrs. Probably have to start at the beginning all over again. 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️... I think the cake crumbs looks good on the side better than sprinkles or confetti. I love this video and would love to see more like this. Thank you!!❤

I'm digging the old-school style of this cake. My roses always look like flat cabbages. 😊 Toasted coconut makes another good edge-embellisher. Are you going to show us that freezer that's "literally bursting" with frozen cake scraps? 😅
Loved your video. Wish I could take classss in your kitchen. I struggle with buttercreams as using nuttelex, has high water content and doesn’t hold shape well as it warms up. Vegetable shortening only available at specialist bakery shops so inconvenient unless planning well ahead of time.

Hi Yes, in this video I am using a half sheet pan (12" x 18") so if you don't have that size you can divide the batter evenly between 2- 1/4 sheet pans instead
So for a full sheet make two 12 x18. How high is the pan. The one I have 1 inch high. So would I have to make 4 12 x 18 to make higher. One layer would seem too low right ? I’m sorry, I have to make a cake for 60 people and I never made one.

I am not so sure they were never NOT popular. In my bakery we sold hundreds of sheet cakes a weekend! From 1/4 sheets to full sheet cakes. It is the most economical & easiest to serve & transport and when you are serving lots of people it is definitely the way to go!

Yes you can! Your cake layers will be slightly thicker but that's not a bad thing!
