Thank you! I love this song. Marko and Tarja's voices fit so well together! It's magic! I am really happy to see them sing together again. They have such a good chemistry. Both of them also seem really happy about this new-found friendship. This year they have toured together and they still have few tours together coming up.😊 So exciting!
Marko wrote Left On Mars for his wife. But he said that it became a song that reunited old friends. Marko said that the song can be interpreted in many ways. It also fits well with his and Tarja's history.
After writing this song with the guitarist Tuomas Wäinölä, he felt like it was a duet... he asked Tarja to sing in it. Marko also said that he made a gentleman's agreement with Tarja: since she sang on his song, whatever Tarja makes next, he'll be there.
So.... I am assuming, on Tarja's upcoming rock album, there will be a new duet with Marko🤩
Yes, people do ask questions of Nightwish from Tarja. She has said that she doesn’t mind, quite the opposite. She is in peace with all that. Tarja said that she is proud of the music they all made together. Nowadays, most of the time when she is telling stories of those early years of Nightwish, she speaks with a smile on her face. (She also said that Once is her favourite Nightwish album).
I don't think that being an ex-Nightwish is a stigma. They are so strong personalities and respected artists in their own right.
Tarja isn’t worried about being compared to Floor. She’s actually proud of her success. They’re friends and are supportive of each other. They did do an instagram live together during Covid. Marko and Tarja are going back on tour together soon. And, he should be on a song on her new album. I think you guys would enjoy Tarja’s solo career more than her NW career. During the end of her career with NW she started singing with a more contemporary voice, and has continued that path with her solo career. She has her metal concerts and her classical concerts. Her Outlanders project is one I think you would enjoy.
It is nice that they are together...again...and smile. They sing so nicely together and sounds awesome.
Since, they reunited in 2017, Tarja and Marko have kept in touch. Since he left NW, none of the members have reached out to him.
Honestly, when reacting to any Tarja song there is no reason to mention Nw's current singer. If you wish to bring her into the conversation, simply react to her songs.

@@HelMut3103 these two almost seemed proud of themselves because they do that. If they enjoy the current singer so much perhaps they should only view her songs..oh wait, most of the songs reactors view are songs from the Tarja or Anette era because the songs from her era aren't as good

Thanks for the reaction. Marko said about the song that it was a song to his wife that ended up reuniting two old friends. He later added that it could be interpreted in multiple ways, and that one could also see a parallel there to his departure from the NW. Tarja and Marko perform this song as a song about mutual forgiveness.
Nightwish can be a stigma in the sense that the solo music of former members is equated with Nightwish's music, which I think is completely unnecessary.
Tarja is rather stigmatized because of what the boys wrote about her in the letter. Although these are not facts, but a one-sided view. Even Tuomas later said that he handled the situation badly. And Marko in recent interviews also talks about things differently than how he saw them then.
He says that when he joined the band, it was already divided into two camps, everyone told him something different and he didn't know where the truth was. And that management was responsible for most of the problems and he ended up losing a friend. He says that he always hoped that he and Tarja would find a way to be together one day.
Yes, many people still call Tarja a diva in a bad way..and mention other bad things from this awful letter..🙄 Maybe it’s easier for them to believe Tuomas. It’s great to see Tarja and Marko performing together again as friends. 🤘🏻
@@HelMut3103 It's easier because Nightwish is bigger than Tarja. People listen to Poet and the Pendulum, Master Passion Greed, feel sorry for Tuomas, read the letter and think they know the whole truth.
@@PetraPola Yeah..poor boy Tuomas..😅 These people don’t care about how Tarja felt afterwards. She was devastated and these people claim that are just fake feelings and tears..
@@HelMut3103 Yes, double standard. At the same time, Tarja never said anything bad about boys. She was just expressing her feelings. I found Poet and the Pendulum an interesting insight into Tuomas' thinking, but the only pity I ever felt while listening to it was for Tarja, whose feelings and trauma were being ignored by all the reactors.

I sincerely recommend against making a video on the whole Tarja/Tuomas feud. Without taking sides, I don't think any of the people involved have ever been fully honest about everything that led to the split. That's a tricky situation to judge from the outside.

The comment about Marko's style grounding* Tarya's operatic vocals is interesting because... while that might be relevant for the Nightwish days, Tarya is not singing in an operatic or classical style here at all! She is a soprano, and so her voice is high-pitched, but that isn't the same thing. Their voices continue to compliment each other well, though.
Interestingly, I believe Marko has had classical l training too, and while it's not a style he sings in much, I've heard him dip into it. He was great. Example would be with Floor in Song of Myself. In one bit after a rock-out musical interlude part, Floor chants in a classical style and Marko harmonises with her. His voice is deep and lower pitched , counterbalancing her high vocals but it has a classical resonance different to the rougher rock/metal style.
*I think I prefer the term 'counter-balancing' to 'grounding'.

Tarja is orginal singer on nightwish😂 so she is the best on that band. I m also fin born so i have listended them when they started there career❤
