Bassist Nikki Sixx ODed on heroin in 1987. He was clinically dead for 2 mins.In the ambulance a paramedic plunged 2 adrenaline needles in to his chest & he comes back.He walked out of the hospital went home.He left a recorded massage on his answering machine "Hey this is Nikki Sixx Im dead" after that the shot up again.Passing out till the next morningThis song is based on that
@@pumpkinhead34 Awesome! That was my second Crue show, the first was December 5, 1985 during the Theatre of Pain tour with Autograph as the opening act. It was amazing too!
Been listening to the Crue for 40 years now. The video clips of concerts were from other music videos from years past. "Home Sweet Home" and "Wild Side". If you pick "Home Sweet Home", you'll get your ballad. If you go with "Wild Side", you'll get a glimpse of what Tommy Lee (drummer) brings to the live performances...
❤❤❤ Wild Side Should be Next for sure!!!😉🎸🎼🎶✌️ Loved y'all's reactions 😎☕💯🔥 Oh and their concerts were Everything you'd think they'd be!!! High energy, Girls everywhere and Loved Every Show!!! 👏👏👏
Your're missing out on the self proclaimed "Most notorious Band in history". Rock and Roll excess at it's best. Kathy, they have 40 years of songs that will rock your socks off. Glad you are enjoying them. They only get better with every listen.
I've been in the Motley Crue since they started like 1981 and see them live.A couple times insanely wild on stage They were known as the bad boys of hair metal They once said they had to make all the money. They did to afford each other's bail
I saw them live once, 30 years ago - still may be the best concert I have seen. Even though you could see boys were "under the weather" they gave - and got back - so much energy and show... I tear up thinking that leaving their concert may have been the most elated I had ever felt and will ever feel again.
Ah Crue! The music of my teenage years! Got to see them in concert twice. They had a set up where the drummer, Tommy Lee, had a drum set in a cage that would lift up and roll over upside down as he played, it was nuts!
@@tonyallen9035 Nice! ToP is probably may favorite album of theirs. I caught them in 87 and 89. I think it may have been the same tour, once with Warrant and once with Whitesnake.
Simply the best 80s hard rock band! They are still rocking! I saw them last year in México! You have a lot of material there to enjoy, even power ballads!! 🖤
Been watching these guys for decades. They are still going this day. I have seen them at the very least 7 times. They sounded just like this video. Delve deeper into this group ladies. They are awesome!!!!
Great band, lots of hits you can pull from for reactions. This band hit it big when I was in middle school, and I remember spending paper route money to buy their "Shout at the Devil" album....not a bad song on it.
I went to the Doctor feel good tour in Wichita kansas. They did have an absolutely amazing show. The drummer Tommy Lee for this concert anyway extended out into the middle of the crowd and it was just drumming and throwing drumsticks left and right. It was an amazing experience.
Moltey Crue was started in 1981 in Los Angeles by Nikki Sixx lead guitar and Tommy Lee drums then they hire Mick Mars bass guitar and vocalist Vince Neil
🤘😎🤘 Enjoyed your reactions! I think y'all would really like their live music video for Wild Side. It was filmed in July of 1987 in Indiana. I was at that concert with my siblings and friends. I was 15 and that concert was so awesome! Sadly, the arena they filmed the video in, was demolished in 2001.
Motley crue did put on one heck of a show back in their prime. It's worth looking up Tommy Lee's touring drum solos. Spinning drum sets, roller coaster style drum sets, etcetera. He made an effort.
Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx related the origins of "Kickstart My Heart", which he wrote while the band was already working on Dr. Feelgood. The phrase "kickstart my heart" supposedly refers to Sixx's overdose incident where a paramedic injected his heart with adrenaline; Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler disputes the accuracy of the story, saying he revived Sixx before the paramedics arrived.
Saw Motley Crue with Kiss and let me tell you, it was incredible. Agreed... do Wild Side. Then Home Sweet Home, Don't go away mad (just go away) then Same 'Ol Situation. Just about any Crue song really.
Wild is an understament, NikkiSixx the bassist, basically died from an overdose and was revived and that's the kick start my heart. Sex, drugs and Rock and Roll was this band
I’ve seen Motley Crue in concert 4 times over the years. One before they got cleaned up and twice with replacement drummers ( Randy Castillo and Samantha Maloney) when Tommy decided to do Methods Of Mayhem and once when I was living in Las Vegas. They were doing the Generation Swine tour. Before they got cleaned up they used to bring out a bottle of Jack Daniel’s and Nikki and Tommy would drink straight from the bottle,on stage , in the middle of the concert, and Tommy Lee had his drum set that flipped upside down on purpose during his drum solo. The rest of the band is Vince Neil ( vocals) Mick Mars( guitar and in this video voice box) Nikki Sixx(bass guitar)
Yes. Thank you for watching my request. Knew you’d like it. To see a somewhat live performance of then you should watch the Wild Side video and get ready to see a drummer do something you’ve never seen before. lol. . Thanks again.
About that "Skydive naked" part, Travis Pastrana almost did that once (he had shorts on) and they picked him up and puts a parachute on him in the air. They used that part as the intro to his documentary, and the song in that intro is Kickstart my heart, so he kind of made that part of the song real :D
Oh heck yeah ladies!!! This song is pure adrenaline and part of my youth. One of my favorite live bands ever, along with KISS. Man I feel old. I thought for sure Kathy would know them. Ouch! A wrinkle just set in my forehead lol! I was about 19 at this time. These were great times for music. When people say they were the bad boys of Rock they were NOT kidding!!! They did things that would make Zeppelin blush. Great reaction as usual ladies. Love your reactions! GO BOSTON BRUINS! 🍻👏🤟 This one of those times in complete awe that you don't know them. A good clip of what LIVE is like is Mother Fuc*#@ Of The Year!
So glad I was around in their hay day. Went to 2 of their concerts, the first one, they were opening for Ozzy Ozborne and literally blew him off the stage. A week later, Ozzy fired them from the tour because they were showing him up. They were amazing back in those days. Raw and in your face!!!
My Favourite Live Version is From Their Later Years: *"Mötley Crüe - Kickstart My Heart (The End, Live In Los Angeles)"* ruclips.net/video/pB8tyjN5of0/видео.html
This band really did the 6 drugs rock n roll to the highest level. I saw them as opener for Maiden in 84 i think, been to more than 1 show with maiden so could be wrong. My youngest brother started to listen to metal in his 14´s and i had many records of them and was playing drums aswell so he would listen to me playing a crue song and play drums. They have made a movie called The dirt, its a fantastic movie made from their books. ty guys for a good reaction
If you want to see agreat video of them in concert, The Same Old Situation really captures their stage show, as does Wild Side, but Same Old shows the more party fun side of their concerts.
Motley Crue is my favorite band. I've seen them live 5 times. If you want a Live music video there is Same 'Ol Situation, which is the best live music video. There is also Wild Side, All in the Name of Rock 'N Roll and Anarchy in the U.S.A. Definitely, watch all 3. If you want to see what Crue is mostly known for there's Girls, Girls, Girls (don't watch the unedited with the girl, though).
Motley Crue they got a large catalog can't go wrong with it , love it , keep up the good work 💯🎯✌🏼🔥🌹 and they are definitely a show band live they like to show off and they do it well
I seriously recommend "Wild Side". That whole video is put together from a live concert.
They want your money dummy to play a song. They don't take free requests. It's called You Tube.
Wild Side, For Sure.
Absolutely! That tumbling drum kit will blow their minds!
Yup Wild Side
Agreed!
Imagine their faces IF they dial up "Girls, Girls,Girls"
or SOS
That might be a freak out.
I agree with everyone Wildside is a must😮
