For anyone concerned about this product not turning automatically. Do not worry it 100% does on its own 4-5 times a day. I work from home in which it’s located right by me and I have seen it turn by itself the entire time. No worries there.
Mine actually stopped turning. So I had to manually do it. But it also was right in our kitchen and I just would do it randomly. I think it works great otherwise
@@10KidsandAGarage okay I’ll have to keep watch for mine. I also discovered holding the setting button and downward arrow at the same time will manually turn the eggs for you as well. So you don’t have to do it by hand
@@makaliarasche5840 yes! That’s a good way to do it too 😃
I started using this incubator. I was wondering if you need to tilt the water bottle to let water get in the incubator or will it get in there by itself?
@@bakhodiryakubov3981 i actually do tilt a bit.
This was so neat to watch. Bet kiddos loved it❤ Have a great weekend Stephanie and Family🥰☺
My kids have so much fun with our new little chicks. 🥰

My question is do you feel the bottom of the tray with the water first before hooking it up to gradually keep the humidity up or does it just release enough water to keep it at the right level?
Sometimes I have to make the water warmer if it needs to go higher.
The humidity can be tricky. I usually check it once a day.
And open the cover slightly quick to let out some humidity if need be
Hello. I have the same incubator and two eggs of ducks inside. When they hatch, how many time do they stay in incubator before I take them out? Thank you
28 days tor ducks
@@10KidsandAGarage I was thinking when they hatch do I move them out of the incubator right away or leave them in there for a while?
Sorry I didn’t say that right, 24 hours
@@eddieTheeddieThe3333 leave them in for about 24 hours. When they are not wet looking any more
@@10KidsandAGarage that is a lot of time. In that 24 hours they don't have to eat or drink water?
I’m struggling with mines is it bc I keep opening them to check to see if anything is starting is the temperature wrong what am I doing wrong??
What is happening? Did they hatch?
I am worried because I have yet to see the auto turn happen. I tested it and it worked but haven't seen it do the auto 120 minutes yet.
Push the down button for a min or so and see if it turns
Hi, I am using this incubator in my classroom! The instructions say to check and egg after 5/6 days with a candling light, but I noticed you said not to open the incubator the first 10 days. Did you check them after 10 days?
You can check at 7 days but try to put cover on as soon as you take the egg out. Then with each egg you check out the cover on. Otherwise you lose all your humidity and heat
Why would you not check the eggs in the first 10 days?? Makes no sense to me, I check on day 5 and 4 days before they hatch..
I think it says to have the eggs pointing inwards? Does it matter?
Yeah inward
@@10KidsandAGarage thanks
please tell me what temperature to set from the beginning, I'm new in this process😊 thanks❤
37.7 is what’s indicated on the cover. Otherwise on different incubators it’s 100 degrees
@@10KidsandAGarage thank you 🌹💞
The pamphlet says it is factory preset at 100F and I wasn’t able to change it. But my chicks hatched. And the auto turner worked great.
keep up the great work most informative 👍 👏
Instead of using the bottle and the straw thingy can’t I just put the water straight away in between the holes of the incubator? @10 kids and a Garage
You can, but it needs constant moisture for the humidity.
when do you can take the baby chickens out of the smart encubator.?please.!
After 48 hours
How is humidity controlled in the incubator? Does the incubator absorb the water from the bottle by itself?
Yes. I’m not sure how to track humidity besides getting an internal thermometer. You can get on Amazon
I can’t get my temp to stay, it keeps resetting it up to 50c, I’ll turn it back to around 38 & a few sec later it goes back up- not sure what to do
Try to do a reset on the incubator
Hey I got this incubator but lost the instructions how do I set the temperature I'm use to my other incubator
Try this and see if you can get off of this amzn.to/3RZhk9n
Hello I just got this incubator a couple of days ago and I wanted to know what the ideal temperature for this type of incubator
37.6. Is ideal. Or 99.68 around
Mine is pretty steady with that temp
Okay thank you
@@ThunderBirdGameFarm I hope that helps
@@10KidsandAGarage hey i wanted to know for the last 3 days what should the humanity be at
How often did you refill the water bottle?
Every other day with warm water
what happens if I don't remove the first tray in the whole time.??
Just watch so the chick don’t get hurt or stuck in tray
Thank you so much🎉
Do Not wash your eggs
We have stopped washing. I have heard both ways are ok. Hatch rate the same. Ben doing for 5 years
First mistake DON'T WASH THE EGGS, also do you keep the water full at all times ?? know one talks about that actual reviews and things that need to follow
Yes so many ppl have different views on this. Since has been update in another video.
Yes I leave a bottle in it at all times
Did yours come with 4 red water dispensers? Trying to figure out if they go somewhere on the incubator after they hatch?
If it had a area to use to add water for the reservoir
How do they get oxygen? I have one newly hatched chick almost an hour ago.
There is air in there. And there should be a vent that you can open a quarter of the way.
Haha yeah I know I just got it from Amazon
How can you tell the humidity? Mine doesn’t show, it’s only flashing back and forth from 100 to 99. I’m guessing that’s just temperature? I make sure the water bottle has water in it always. I’m 3 days in my first incubator.
Yeah same. I just don’t keep track of it. I haven’t had any problems with just having water in the bottle. My hatch rate was good. As long as that temp stays the same you should be good.
Okay, thanks!
I just bought this incubator and put the fertilized eggs in it last night. Do you have any tips on how to know if enough water is going into it? Or too much at once? The directions say to put warm water in it every 3 days or when it's empty, but almost half the bottle is gone already and I put them in at 4:00 p.m. yesterday and it's 9:00 a.m. now. TIA ❤
I just keep the bottle in until it runs out. Then I add warm water to fill. I just watch the bottle not the days. Make sure you don’t add hot water, it will change the temp to fast and ruin the hatch
Thanks you somuch
What I'm I doing wrong only 1 egg hatched when I had 6 one or 2 wasn't firtile but the rest was but only one egg hatched for the second time
That’s so weird.
So when I hatch, I usually use a bigger incubator and get better results.
Was your incubator rotating? Humidity right?
Good morning ! 🥰 Is it normal for my smart incubator to smoke when I increase the temperature, for example to 28 degrees it does not smoke but at 37.5 degrees it starts to smoke a little? and as it starts to smoke I'm scared and I unplug it!
No it’s not normal for that to happen. You need to ask to return it.
@@10KidsandAGarage Take you for the response 😘 I'll try to returne it as soon as possible !
On the 18 day when you remove the tray you continue to add water?
Yes to rise the humidity
The chick's are so cutie
Hallo how many time in day move this incubator eggs ?
4
Hello, I just bought this incubator. After placing the water apparatus in the machine and filling the water into the bottle, it completely discharges the water into the chamber of the machine. I wonder if this is true. Do you have any information about whether it is correct for such a large amount of water to go into the chamber of the machine at once?
Yes that is fine that it does that
thanks. I read your previous comments. If this amount of water causes excessive humidity, do I need to lift the glass cover slightly? I think you did it this way
I just seen mine done same thing. Doesn’t seem right lol
@@bigbowtie6709 yeah you just lift for a second to leave enough humidity out. Sometimes it’s touchy
How do you set the setting for the automatic rotation
It should automatically be set
When you start the day to 21 days or to the bird your hatching day
You need to make sure it’s plugged into the fan system
When you are on the last three days, you will take trays out and in plug the base that rotates
😅@@10KidsandAGarage
I got this incubator and it came with a bottle and when I put the water in it drank up all the water at one time and then I did it again and it drank it all up again . Should I keep adding water and expect it to stop or should I just wait 3 days and fill the bottle up again
You can wait or keep filling. It will stop if you keep filling. I like to keep mine full and watch it go down, that lets me know when to fill again. I hope that helps.
Also, if you need to raise the temp or humidity, I like to add warm water to the bottle.
@@10KidsandAGarage Thanks for the fast reply ❤️
@@omaribrahim8474 your welcome 🥰
@@10KidsandAGarage How do I increase humidity because it says to increase the humidity last three days ?
@@omaribrahim8474 I add warmer water or I add a little sponge with warm water
Hi, when they start hatching u can leave it with the same temperature? 100°F ??
I do yes.
What was the humidity you used?
Should be in the up 50 or 60
18 day. Ok😊
It’s 21 days for chickens, but you take trays out at 18 days
Hi, don’t the eggs turn on their own , o can’t seem to get it straight
Yes it should
What happens if you don't remove the spinny tray? I put eggs in at different times not having a dozen to start with.
I also did that. And it’s fine, just keep watch of the chicks that did hatch.
Watch their feet
Awesome. Thank you!
So once I put the water bottle all the water went in side is that ok
Yes
@@10KidsandAGarage thank you what temperature do I have to set it on
I just bought one, came with a bottle to fill water. But all the water ran out already, do I need to fill it up again? Help, please!
Yes
I would use a regular water bottle and attach it
@@10KidsandAGarage thank you, btw!
Does the tray rotate constantly or on and off?
On and off I think 4 times a day
Does the incubator stop moving on day 18 by itself? Or do you have to do something to turn it off?
You need to pull out tray that is connected to cover. You just need the bottom tray and it won’t turn.
Do you know what the EEE error code means? I lost my manual.
It would be the temperature in the incubator is to high. So adjust the temp again to what your incubator suggests for chickens.
Or open lid for a min to let some steam out.
Give it couple min to adjust and see if that helps
How long can the chicks stay in the incubator after hatching?
It’s usually 24 hours. When they dry up and are fluffy
@@10KidsandAGarage thanks, three days to go here!
so 37 is the correct temperature?
Yes. It’s weird in there. So I looked it up and 99 degrees is the 37
Mine keeps resetting to 50c idk why
@@jess5180 I think there is a way to do a reset. I’ll have to check
Have you ever tried a dry hatch with this incubator?
I never tried
Hi there! Would you recommend this incubator for duck eggs? Thank you!

Hello just got this yesterday trying to set it up. If it took all the water do I refill again right away or wait 2-3 days?

One more question the incubator didn’t take no water and the tube looked dry so I elevated the bottle a little and it took it all is that normal? Or should I have left it alone
@@getthebenji8462 I also have had to do that. And that’s ok
How did you check humidity
If you can get a internal thermometer, you can get on amazon. Otherwise I haven’t had to check it with this incubator
Hey I have bought this incubar too and want to know, if its correct that some air is in the hose for the water? And is there a smal pump, which takes/pulls the water itself? Or How does it work?
Yeah it siphons the water to the incubator. It’s ok if there’s a air bubble. I had to put a paper towel under the water bottle area so it was angled a little.
Many thanks for your quick answer. Yesterday I have checked the temperature and it was 37,4 celsius and I was happy.😊 Today I checked it again and I was 35 Celsius only😮 do you know why? I used a fibre thermometer yesterday and today

@@ninameyer4635 I never had problems with the humidity.
But you could let some water out of the tube.
So do you place the warm water then you replace once it’s empty?
Yes, they say to change every three days. But the water doesn’t go that fast the second time you fill the bottle

Hi how is the incubator I was thinking of buying it but I wasn't sure
I think it works great if your starting out small. It pretty much does everything for you. You will need a bottle for the water to control humidity but it’s pretty straightforward
@@10KidsandAGaragewill get it thank you very much .
How did you up the humidity to 70% on lockdown? I have this exact one and worried about humidity control.
It just needs to be at 60 % at first. Then 70 the last three days. I would put a small wet sponge inside to raise the humidity
@@10KidsandAGarage I can't keep mine below 75% to 80% when I add water. We are only a week in. How do I keep it at 60%. I keep adding water and pouring it out!
@@kimcross9599 did you try pressing the reset button?
You might have to keep opening the cover randomly. My bigger incubator does that. I’m at 73 and ten days in. And I have to keep letting the humidity out. I know it’s a pain to do. I read that some incubators can’t keep a steady heat or humidity, that you kind of have to babysit it.
Try adding cooler water.
