What an absolutely gorgeous trip to Nova Scotia . Peggy's Cove is a must see. Mikey get your website ready only 50 spots and how many will want to go!! Lots of work getting that all arranged !! Bravo Mikey and team 👏 Whoever is lucky enough to book you won't be disappointed!
How exciting. Sounds like a wonderful trip. Wish I could go but because of health issues I’m am close to being homebound now. My family roots are in NS- mostly Joggins, Apple River & Parrsboro but also some old time routs in Wolfeboro & of course Wassons Bluff. Sigh. I’ll be with you in spirit - blow a kiss to the bluffs for me. And have a handful of Dulse or a muffin with Tatamagouche butter (by far the best butter in the world).
Small world we live in! My ex-husband is from a neighbouring town from where Michael grew up….. I eventually found the crochet videos that Michael was doing years ago and then I learned he moved to Nova Scotia & feel that it was a wonderful decision that he and Daniel made! The people are fantastic, and there are very few places in the world that come close to the charm & genuine friendliness of people
That’s awesome, which location was your grandfather born? My ancestors are from here. I’m in Halifax…… since your grandfather was born in Nova Scotia, you know the odds of us being fifth cousins eight times removed or some bizarre calculation is quite high😁
@ without going into detail details, I can practically guarantee that we’re cousins in someway or another, my paternal grandfather ( Morton ) was born in Lower Argyle ….. maternal grandmother, his spouse ( Tedford ) born in Pembroke…. ++ many many many ancestors among founding members of the numerous communities including Sealed Landers
I would suggest if people have time to visit in Halifax the cemetery where the remains of some of the Titanic passengers are buried. Peggy’s Cove is beautiful a must see.
Registration opens at 5pm, Eastern. Decemberr 3, 2024. See this link: thecrochetcrowd.com/crochet-authentic-adventure-nova-scotia-tour-with-the-crochet-crowd/
This sounds absolutely fantastic, Michael! When you head down towards Peggy‘s Cove, there is the SS Atlantic Museum / monument in Terrence Bay near Sandy Cove in case you’re looking for a reasonably short detour on the way to Peggy’s Cove😃 When you’re at Halifax for your sunset cruise, are you able to accommodate people who would like to join the cruise with you all and we can certainly pay for our own tickets if there’s space on the ship??
