Francis is the most relaxed dog I have ever seen. He sits right next to the hot stove and oven, doesn't beg for food, and the blowtorch didn't phase him at all.
I absolutely love creme brulee, my husband and I make it every year for our anniversary. :-) I'm so, so excited to try out this version of the recipe! I never would have thought to replace the vanilla beans with matcha!
I have found that mixing the matcha with the sugar first helps break up the lumps ahead of time as the powder clings to the sugar grains. I do this when making green tea milk and yogurt breakfast drink in the morning. Wonderful recipe!
Chef, this looks absolutely amazing, I bet red beans would also go great with this recipe... I will make sure to try this at home!!! Thanks for sharing this recipe!!! X
Just made this. Doubled the recipe and it only made 3 ramekins. Left them in the oven for double the time and was still really runny! The flavour is so good though! 🍮🍧
Haha loooove your accent, I was waiting for the way you would prononce "crème brûlée" :) Anyway, as always i LOVE to see a french recipe in your hands :) Merci pour cette superbe recette !
In France to make crème brulée at home when you don't have a torch, just at the end of the baking, we put sugar on the crème and we use the grill to caramelise.
This recipe is really good guys i made it with a rice cooker and it still taste amazing just make sure you cover your container with aluminum foil before placing them in the rice cooker
I've just discovered you last week - Wonderful!!! Thank you so much, really enjoyed making Custard Pudding - one of my favourites - Thank you so much again...
Nice. I’m going to try this but I will sous vide them . Let’s see how it comes out. But I love matcha in dessert and drinks , so I’m excited to try this.
This looks amazing. :D I definitely have to try it out when I have time. I don't really like the sugar on top of creme brulee plus I don't own a torch, so I suppose I'll just skip that step. Once again, thank you for sharing a wonderful recipe with us! :)
"ask adult for help when you are child" LOL!!! Can you imagine a child making this desert? I wonder why they do not warn their adolescent viewers against using all these sharp knives!
Lassionbabe True that. I mean, Japanese TV series and animes show children cooking all the time on their own to show that's it's common practice among Japanese youngsters. Just like in Western TV shows where children heats up microwave food.
Japanese children through middle-high school take home economic as a required class. They are taught to be able to take care of themselves once they reach adulthood. Unlike here in America fast food restaurant exist for our needs....
Clifford vu Good for them, I mean Japanese teenagers. Yes, teenagers.. not childeren. Probably there was a misunderstanding. For me "child" means max 10 year old. 11 and more is a teenager. And I am not an American. And I learnt how to cook and home economics at home, from my parents.
We need a "love" button. I have never sat at the computer before and said to myself "I need a blow torch". But, I need a blow torch. And Francis, so stylin' in your Halloween themed neckerchief.
Thank you for the wonderful video! You said the time to bake the creme brulee mixture depends on the oven and container, but how can I tell when it is ready to take out from the oven? Thanks!
at 4:37, I was reminded of the horrors of college, when they decided to serve avocado creme brulee. I'm sure this is delicious, but I couldn't shake that out of my mind. >_
that noise at the end "jajajajangggg" WAS SO FRUGGUN CUTE HOLY CRAPS
ikr? I love how cute she is! I would love an aunt or grandma like her haha
I farted with a smile on! Thank you JESUS!

Ju Ju Ju Jang @ 4:19 is awesome.
"Ask an adult for help if you are a child." I'm an adult, I'd still be asking for help from someone who knows what they are doing with a blowtorch.
LOL!! 😂😂 Omg hahaha
You should practice on a crack pipe! JAJAJAJJAANNNNNNGGG!!

The sad thing is, Francis speaks English better than most people in Western countries ;w;
But great video!

That sweet sugar crunch at the end
I like your recipe; the way you present the amount of ingredients in both the metric and US units and how many it serves is very convenient.
