Scary to feel an earthquake when it's highly unusual there! The last and only time I felt an earthquake, I was staying in the hospital. There was a series of a few, but no one else (working or staying in the hospital) except for myself and a few other patients apparently felt them.
It was bc I was staying on the top floor, and laying in the bed, which caused me to feel more of the impact. The higher you are off the ground, the more you'll shake, which makes sense though I'd never considered it before that day.
Which is also why I didn't feel the last one in 2023, since I live on the ground floor.
