    I love the mountains and I used to live in Colorado. Unfortunately, I’ve found Colorado too much like California, and I’ve left. I’m now living in Northwestern Montana in a mountain town. It’s a lot like Colorado, but definitely a bit colder!

    Hey Sean, just found your channel. Great input and I'd love to chat with you if you get a chance. We moved to Castle Rock (saw your episode) back during that year where that virus thing took over. We were on the fence that first year, but have grown to appreciate it. Great video.

      Get ready for sticker shock on homes there. Evergreen is a place where either you bought into the market in the 90s, or you're rich. It's a lot more expensive than even Denver metro.

    Evergreen is barely outside the metro area, it's practically an outer suburb. That's like living in a bougie mountain town while being able to be in Denver metro within 15 minutes. It's close enough to the metro area to get lots of traffic from the city to 3 sisters park.

    I thought you were gonna say that you had moved to Provo, Utah or Grand Junction or something...and then I looked at where Evergreen was and then I was like...oh, he didn't really leave. Unless traffic is THAT bad that going such a short distance takes forever...either way you should have probably gotten a cabin in the upper peninsula of Michigan and started a brewery called 'the Seasonal Affective Brewing Company' on the site of a former copper mine.

    half of the people tell me Denver is Horrible and Half tell me its good. I think people are kinda dramatic when they say Denver is scary/Dangerous especially compared to other cities. I got a job offer there and don't know if ill take it or not. When i visited it was ok but i thought Downtown seemed so empty for some reason.

    • @HeyThereErica
      @HeyThereErica Год назад

      From my observations visiting, downtown is kind of boring and people only go there for work, but it wouldn't be the place to live - it's the same way in Chicago. Maybe you have to work there, but I would never want to live there. Cap hill/N Cap hill was super cool and I could see myself living there. Everything is super bikable since the city's so small

      Basically, if you love the outdoors you'll love Denver. If you're a city type that is into the vibe and nightlife of the city, Denver is pretty underwhelming there. Also Denver's transit is underwhelming if you're planning to go carless. What Denver does well is food, tons and tons of great restaurants.

    Traffic has sucked before the big "T-Rex" I-25 rebuild. It got worse since. One more thing, I've been in several no fault car crashes in Denver and the people at fault are Denver or Colorado natives. What's that tell you about bad drivers.

  • @maggiedoja
    @maggiedoja 7 месяцев назад

    You are not wrong about Drnver, every part of it. Capitol Hill is good, but the crime in central Denver got way worse 2020 on.
    You can pay 500 and less in other countries apparently I'm not brave enough to try that alone.
    Everything changed after the country shut down, ow we pay 40% more for everything so won't matter where you land. Sucky drivers are WAY worse in other places, I feel better driving around Colorado.. and Tennessee
    Nice to meet you man, I dig your style

      The west side suburbs are pretty pricey though. I've been looking myself. I live in SE Denver, just west of the good part of Aurora, and am looking to see how close I can afford to get to Golden just because the outdoors is the main reason I moved here and that would cut travel time to the foothills by a ton.
