Autel can do it on bench. Choose write key and it will guide you through the steps of removing and soldering the wires so you can add key.. then choose read and check if it's unsecured or secured then choose the one that you read of the two and add your key..
@@jorgemat8080 ok thanks I tried on one it gave me the same screed unknown software version, so in other words…..on all unsecured ones keys can be added via obd?
those years range rover cannot add key via obd you have to do it via the RFA module. its more complicated requires soldering and removal of crystal on circuit board because the data is secured
Thanks for the information my friend!! we from brazil and we got the same problem with a discovery sport 2018 its more complicated this atual versions Congrats!
I think you can do it by cloning the key universal autel key. Then you can transfer the information to the key autel key. Is the other option. I have the same problem today
tell me, please. the lonsder device can subtract the id of an already registered key and write this id to a new key that has the function of changing the id. can't an autel device do this? that is, the function does not add a new id, but the previously recorded id passes into a new key.
you may have a video of how to add a new key by removing the block and reading data using autel. or if you succeed, record a video of how to do it. thanks
Thanks a lot! 🔥 Not
Many techs will show failure.. thanks for showing us the good and bad. 💪🏾
No problem 👍
Agreed
Secure module. You should do it on bench with RFA module which is located on trunk.

Hi is there a way to know if it’s secured or not before soldering on these ones with crystals
@@tjrufu01 yes plug in obd2 and try adding key if it fails there's your answer.

Unsecured may need to be done bench also. If it's after 15, plan on bench
Abrites can do this via OBD (CAN wires under the seat). A special key from Abrites must be used.
You need to do it on bench after 2015

You can do it via obd with lonsdor key programmer
yes i can be done with londsor but only with londsor simulator range rover key
can be done with SDD I just added one to mine
Will Autel do this via OBD2 for pre-2015 Land Rovers? I am looking to do this for a 2012 RR Sport HSE Lux and a 2012 RR Sport HSE.
Yes, I have done it through eeprom & flash many times.
