Great find.....the 23' Birchavens are the best IMHO. I am 4months into owning and working on my 1st ever motorhome a "76 Birchaven. Same floorplan. Doing the same as you to restoring this motorhome. Lots of work but I am passionate and committed to the restoration/rebuild and use of it. Best of luck in your restoration/rebuild journey!
Very cool! I was torn between the 23 and 26 - I found several 26's that I could have done, but I just kept coming back to the 23's. It'll just be me in there, so I'll make it work. LOVE the side bath floor plan! They seem to be less common than the rear baths...I just had to have that "nest with a view" in the back, and didn't want to have to make up my bed every day with the converta-couch setups. Keep in touch! I'm planning on posting an update video pretty much every week.
I'm STOKED! I didn't use the best of judgment buying it - I know there's an engine and transmission in it, but whether or not it'll turn over or pull itself remains to be seen. I should get it delivered about Tuesday (7/23/24), so the fun can begin in earnest. Can't wait to see what's under all that filth! LOL!
