Fredo is so underrated, man. Beat the shit out of the drums just like Joey but without the tempo problems. Brings so much energy and aggression to these early live performances.
@Kyro4Productions his rhythm is the main thing to take note of, honestly...he isn't the hardest player or the sharpest player...it's just a unique swing and pocket all and only his
I get the feeling this isn't played live to an audience but probably plaved in a studio and then has a few overdubs placed on it to make it sound like a live show... Might be wrong tho...
I just think they were and are THAT TIGHT, plus they had Hutch behind the board, and hes a fucking sound god. Why go thru the trouble of faking it? Its probably just the recording from the board not from the venue in the crowd, or though the mains like you normally hear
The vocals are so damn clean man
man it feels like autotune actually made part of rock music back in 1999
Damn they played If Only high tempo in this set. Makes it a totally different song
God damn! This is the coolest QOTSA boot I have ever herd✌️😎💨
This performance isn't old enough to buy alcohol, but man does it drive hard.
it is now
Drinking smoking desert west coasting!
Fantastic from then to now...
totally right
Best bootleg CD in a clear case I ever had 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Alfredo Hernandez on drums...not too long before Gene Trautmann joined
I still want to hear the recorded version of tension head with alfredo on drums. It was mentioned in some interview years ago

Its definitely possible to get a good clean recording like this live if done correctly, even in '99
@@BRIANMASON1202 Yeah man. Totally possible.
Nick came in early with the backing vocals on Mexicola. They would've fixed that if it wasn't a live recording.
Definitely live
Other bands have sets from here too
