Plenty of room for your hands with the bottom of the doors Aussie cars don't give you that option often cut your hands trying to line up window regulators etc Great idea for hanging the door love the way the epoxy primer flows from the gun what a great product to come along since acrylic paints
Top work, these panels do take time to get right. You might find a coat of wet on wet primer before your basecoat would help giving it a nice flat coat to help with any minor imperfections, great result given the space you have
Great work mate just in the middle of restoring a mk4 Xr3i my self. Do you use any thinners when mixing up your high build primer? I’ve heard some people say yes 10% and others say no
thank you, no I didnt add any thinners to the high build primer, although it does seam thick when applying, maybe a larger nozzle spray gun would have been better. I did add 10% flex additive when high build priming the plastics on the bodykit after I'd plastic primered them (just using a rattle can)
@@IRustBeNuts Cheers mate my gun is a 1.8 nozzle too so think I may just add a splash of thinners into my high build to help it flow better. I’m using the mipa 4+1 high build primer.
Neat trick to paint the door mate 👍
