Im a massive skeptic when it comes to these sort of demonstrations but can honestly say the GT Radial all terrains fitted to my Suzuki Grand Vitara have been a massive improvement over several other known brands which really shocked me.
This 4 minute extended version fo the GT Radial wet braking test educates Australian drivers highlighting that some budget tyres are potentially dangerous if you need to stop quickly on a wet road. GT Radial tyres have been recommended 5 times in 5 years by choice, including Champiro BAX2, Champiro 228, Champiro Eco & Champiro UHP1 beating expensive premium tyres, making GT Radial safe & much better value.
What if it's just a soft compound that goes away quickly. One single test is not the full measure of a tire. Run them in 20,000 miles and then retest for a more "real world" scenario. Most any tire feels good and sounds good right "out of the box". I spend more time on old tires than new.
GT radials ARE budget tires, my dude I am trying to buy tires for a friend in indonesia and I am surprised at how many good tires they "don't" have, lol GT Champiro's are the only tire I can find in 255/45R18, so I guess I will have them try those
Depending on where you buy it, some tire dealers only sell brand they work with. Like if you're at a tire dealer with Bridgestone logo you definitely won't get the Toyo or Falken lol
I’m a little skeptical I would like to see that test in reverse with the worst tire first and then so on because did they let the brakes cool down cause if the rotors are super hot from doing it by the time you get to the third tire the brakes are not going to stop as good as the first time
Would be really nice to know what the 2 other brands are i know they do this because they could get sued possibly. Is there a chart that shows all tyres on how they do in the wet.
I have them on my car for 4 years now the touring all season use it for delivery driving and track on my grand Terino np one bit in snow rain or dry weather still have another 3 years left i think in tread
GT Radial sports active tyres are prone to cracking, I had all four of them fail between 20k and 4k km and that's without using them for heavy loads or anything. Trash tyres period.
GT radial tyres are total rubbish don’t buy them I had some AT savero on my 4wd I don’t drive them hard but they were pretty worn and delaminating after 43,000 kms got scammed by the tyre retailer
This video is not real world tho I have an audi rS4.I had very expensive Pirelli track tires on there as well as the cheapest tires that you could ever buy for that tire size. And real world driving the heater tires I seen to do better because say you have to run a curb to avoid an accident the pirelli tires are ruined with nots and bent rims now with the cheap Ironman tire same curb no tire damage slight scuffing and no bent rims. On the track yes there garbage but day to day from what test I put through I prefer the cheap stuff on a day to day. One more point is they have to be made to a certain standards to begin with and a cheap noname is better then a maypop tire..... Rite?!
You people are so gullible! It is the brake system on the car that stops it not the tire. Now if that car did not have anti locking brakes then this test would be more valid. But then and again if they are selling tires all they would have to do is brake sooner or later in each test. Cornering is very important in a tire test more than braking.
they are the exact same cars and tyres are the only contact with the road, you can have the best braking system but if your tyres cant hold the road...

I’m pretty sure the driver doesn’t hit the brake at the same exact spot each time .
U already know
😂😂😂
Next time I’m at the garage for tyre change I’ll just ask what the most expensive tyres they have is
But what were the tyres used?
You can have expensive summer tyres which in the wet are not ideal.
shhh, you're looking behind the curtain. The Wizard does not like that.

He usado por más de 5 años en diversos vehículos estás llantas y son muy buenas, en curvas, lluvia, clima seco, en ciudad, son fantasticas

Brake is getting hotter and hotter each test. Thats right
I wonder if they took into account heat saturation and brake fade. Not scientific at all.
This is what I was about to say 😅
Would be really nice to know what the 2 other brands are i know they do this because they could get sued possibly. Is there a chart that shows all tyres on how they do in the wet.
GT Radial is the best relation quality/price
2:50, Yep, stop fast and the car behind u who uses a cheap tire crash right into your m5, too bad
pretty sure the M5 is a road, not her car lol...if she had an m5 she could afford some good ass tires haha

Budget tyres should be banned. Just not fit for purpose at all.

Sorry king, but tyres play a huge role in stopping, cornering, and acceleration.

oooh u almost got me, i thought this was a proper test at first.
