In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

Omg this is my favorite task so far, Daisy looks like she's about to have a mental break down, and Alex looks genuinely worried for her.
Not a single minute in and Daisy is already struggling.

I don't know what interview you watched, Alex was the one who kept bursting out in manic laughter, he seemed far closer to a mental breakdown than Daisy.
Daisy was pregnant with her second child while filming the series. She was seven months pregnant while recording the studio segments in July.
Me trying to interrogate my drunk friend at closing time about where she might have lost her shoes:

And of course her coat, bag and phone, which all turn up in different pubs/clubs, in locations whuch suggest poltergeist activity (which is definitely real)

Daisy had it wrong, Taskmaster renamed Alex ages ago, as "Little Alex Horne".
This is somehow giving me flashbacks to math teachers desperately trying to get me to understand things after class in high school. The absolute silence in the background. The backtracking and speaking very slowly, "I... Daisy May Cooper..." and, on the other hand, "I'm so confused!" followed by hysterical laughter
The way Daisy looks in this reminds me of the scene from Killing Eve where Villanelle impersonates Konstantin

These interviews are stunning displays of otherwise intelligent and accomplished comedians absolutely losing a basic plot thread in an improv.

These are so incredibly creative, and so much fun, and I can't imagine how Alex manages to keep same and (mostly) a straight face for them. Amazing!
I loved Greg Davies a while now, but now I'm falling for Alex. He did a brilliant job with this show. I hope, when it comes to the last episode, they will do some kind of reveal that Alex was the man with the plan at it was all his doing. In like 15 to 20 years.
Alex is the real taskmaster. He has explained how he came up with the idea of the show in an interview a while back, when it was still on DAVE.

Alex created the format for the Edinburgh fringe festival then sold the idea to TV. He would have made millions off this show by now I am sure.

@@nairocamilo yeah for 9 series they were on dave a smaller channel then they moved to channel 4 for series 10 and more plus they poked fun and channel 4 in the series 10 trailer for initially turning down taskmaster as a show to air

@@medialies24X7 Often when a show switches channel, the new channel tries to change it so it "fits their audience" better or some other weird logic. Channel 4 were told quite flatly by the Taskmaster production team that they weren't to interfere, and it seems they haven't so far :)

I'm next to out of new content and I have trouble finding what is available for new content because the RUclips algorithms are a nightmare the past five or six years and only seemingly getting worse..
So the only issue I have been finding now

I think Alex had had a shave just before that. There was just a couple of frames where it looked like he'd drawn the beard in. I liked that Achievement Woman grew a beard to take our attention away from Alex's silly beard
