  • Pramipexole is a dopamine agonist medication primarily used for Parkinson's disease and restless legs syndrome. It's also being investigated as a potential treatment for depression, especially depression with symptoms like anhedonia (loss of pleasure in activities).
    Here's a summary of the connection between pramipexole, depression, and low dopamine:
    * Dopamine and Depression: Depression is linked to low dopamine activity in certain areas of the brain.
    * Pramipexole's Mechanism: Pramipexole mimics dopamine by stimulating dopamine receptors, potentially improving mood and motivation.
    * Research on Pramipexole for Depression: Studies suggest pramipexole might be helpful for some people with depression, particularly those who haven't responded to other treatments. However, more research is needed to confirm its effectiveness and determine the ideal dosage.
    If you're interested in learning more about the research on pramipexole and depression, I can help you find credible sources.

    I feel exactly what your feeling, I have been for a long time for at least 2 decades. I made some serious bad choices in my 30s to take care of that. Which turned my life upside down. I am a recovering addict and have been sober for 14 years. I just stumbled on to this video, and really don't have any info on your life up to this point. I can tell you that your describing exactly how I felt prior to making those negative decisions, and I feel even more so now that I don't self medicate anymore. Thank for sharing I believe I have a dopamine deficiency which I am in the process of getting labs done.

      I had to stop taking nandrolone due to prolactin side effects like flat mood and low energy which is where Pramipexole kicks in. I think I had prolactin issues which tank dopamine my whole life. Very excited for Prami to arrive. I felt like you described in this video for a long time so again very excited. How are you now?

      @@Ty44444 wow, I really hope that it helps you. I actually stopped taking it and went on testosterone which completely fixed my issues. With the Pami it would help me for about 2 days where I would then have to take more. It's not necessarily something I wanted to take continually. I got my blood work done and it said that my testosterone was low so after supplementing with testosterone everything went back to normal gratefully.

    • @FromADistanceJewelry
      @FromADistanceJewelry  29 дней назад +1

      I got a prolactin test which would show low dopamine. It was in fact a tad low but the Dr didn't think it was low enough to cause the issues I was having. I started testosterone therapy (I did a video on it recently) and I've felt normal ever since.

    I dont know how it is possible a quarter of 0.50 make sb feel motivated,since pramipexole mechanism of action what ive read is that in doses under 1 mg it downregulate those dopamine receptors actually its a big mental pain at first taking prami,and the mechanism is downregulating dopamine receptors for a while with doses under 1 mg will eventually sensitize your receptors when eventually you reach dosese higher than 0.75 and will be followed by dopamine flood .so im just wondering how this can happen with 0.25 mg of prami .i tried it once and at doses 0.25 mg (my initial dose) i got such a crippling worsening anhedonia and depressin that i quit ,i wish i could cope with initial mental side effects and titrate it up to 1 mg so it would be a relief on my anhedonia

    • @FromADistanceJewelry
      @FromADistanceJewelry  Месяц назад

      That's interesting, it was the exact opposite for me. In fact, the information that I've read states that it acts immediately on dopamine receptors by releasing more. I'm sure that for everybody will be a little bit different just like with any medication.

      Hello my friend! I do not take this product religiously because it does have side effects that could be pronounced overtime. I take it on a per need basis. Other than a slight headache when I take it I haven't had any issues. I've also started taking testosterone replacement which has changed the game for me and help me with a much more positive outlook on life. I've done a video about that which I will be uploading to the channel soon.
