Beautiful lady, thanks for coming to my little town, San Pedro use to be the economic center of the Dominican Republic back in the late 1800s and the beginning of the 1900s, thanks to the sugar cane factory, we hold the privilege to be the first place with a water airport, first fire department, first building with 3 stories tall, first protestan church, first Boys Scouts, first phone service and many others thing, San Pedro is the most diverse province in the whole Caribbean, thanks to inmigrants from Haiti, most of the Caribbean Islands, Spain, turkey, Israel and many other countries that settle here and create an unique culture that only San Pedro de Macoris have it
