Old One's Army was added in Terraria 1.3.4 as crossover content from Dungeon Defenders 2. The event is very interesting, as it has three tiers that you get to fight during your adventure in Terraria. The final tier, shown in this video, is a very intense and fun experience that ends with the great dragon Betsy.
The biggest problem for me with the event is that It's quite easy to loose track on time when you're constantly rewarded with defender medals, banners and epic loot. But I guess we can live with that.

A dragon and a Terrarian.
When I came back again I discovered the Tavernkeep, and then this thing: The Old One's Army. So I thought that why not fight it in a cave - it sounded like a great idea. Well, it turned out to not be the best idea ever as the arena became very small - but atleast it does have some style. The optimal way would be a large open area, filled with traps and devious gadgets.
When I first began fighting the army I was using Shroomite armor, but the invisible character doesn't really make a great video. I decided put it back on the mannequin, and downgrade to the Titanium armor set (a set that I hardly ever showcase). The set bonus proved to really do the trick on the final wave, as Betsy can make quick work of you.
Overall I am very pleased with this event as it is very well done and tuned to the right level. I feel that I will keep doing it just for the fun and maybe try out some neat tricks in the future. But first we need to set Hagrid free...

Every Terraria Boss : Hahaha! Stop TheYrimir27? Ahh..Many have attempted but you can't stop a God with a copper shortsword.
Plantera : Unless you are TheYrimir27.
Duke Fishron : That's right...
Moon Lord : But the worst part is, just when you think you're safe,just when you think you might escape,TheYrimir27 finds you...And you never see it coming. Wham! Just like that.

MylesTheGreat Wrong,he didn't.Yrimir can EASILY defeat Moon Lord on expert mode with hardcore on and only regen,ironskin and swiftness pots.
Also, the whole series is pre-recorded. He wouldn't upload it if he died.

Shortest possible arena, caved in for reduced mobility, somewhat lower tier gear, not multiplayer, expert mode and biggest of all: not a single exploit abused. No mana banking and no sentry platforming.

That idea is usually only good for the first 2 nights with a bunch of friends in a discord call. Once you get used to it, it only becomes easier and easier. Since Yrimir doesn't do commentary then I don't think it would be his cup of tea.

I think I started watching Yrimir just before Terraria's Hardmode update came out and I have to say, the quality of the videos have done nothing but improved. Everytime you upload I pause everything I do and watch the video.
