That little bassist, 9 year old Ale (Alejandra) is a human metronome. She is now affectionately called the ‘Thunder Goddess’ by fans. Concert halls reverberate with her thunder. The drummer Pau (POW) was DRUMEO’s Best Rock Drummer of 2023. Only 12 years old here. The pounding heart of The Warning. Lead singer and eldest sister Dany, 14 years old here, has been recognized by veteran rock bands for her guitar skills and her vocal abilities.

The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as
The Warning”.
It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them.
In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto RUclips. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together).
In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style.
They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood).
They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019.
In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing!
Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing!
They have all given master classes on their instruments and song writing and performing (even as young as 18 years old).
They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world.
The band was names “Best Live Band” for 2023.
Paulina (drummer) was named “Up and Coming Drummer” for 2023
Paulina was also named “Best Rock Drummer” for 2023 by Drumeo Magazine.

Bonus- In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists (including The Warning) to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. Thanks Sarge....besides Angelina Jordan being my favorite vocalist for the past 9 years, you have now entered the realm of my absolute favorite Rock Band in over 60 years...this is the video that went viral on YT when their dad sent this to their grandparents to see...he had to upload it to YT given the size of the video and now with over 25 million views we have simply one of the best Rock bands (male or female) on the planet....this is 10 years ago and the girls have grown up and this talent you see here is X10 now. The Warning Army (fans) is the largest Army on this planet and extremely devoted to these absolutely, sweet, humble and classy young ladies...like the AJ fans, Army fans are several several million strong. They still young, Dany (Daniela) is now 24, Paulina (Pau) on drums in now 21, and Alejandra (Ale) on Bass is now 19. They now have well over 60+ songs (originals) and not a bad song to be seen. Their LIVE at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert is simply EPIC (2022), 22 songs, best live recording I have ever seen in 60 + years...studio quality....Live is their bread and butter. Minor correction (possibly a typo on your part my friend). Pau is 22, born 5 Feb 2002
They are currently doing a second leg of a European tour. The first leg was 19 shows in 24 days, all sold out. Since then they have done three shows in Japan and a bunch of interviews before heading back to Europe for the second leg this year. Their schedule is pretty well packed since they will be in Europe through August, the US in September and then Canada in October with Halestorm and Evanescence. They have an EP, a single and four studio albums. They stayed independent despite multiple offers until 2020 when they signed with Lava/Republic Records after seven months of negotiations. The ladies made sure that they retained control of their music, their patreon channel and creative control.
They do a great show whether the audience is 50 people or well over 50,000. As noted by others, live is their superpower but I will add song writing and musical composition to that.
Just for reference you might want to take a look at them now. July 13th they played in Madrid again at MADCOOL.
Ale, pronounced Al-leh which is short for Alejandra, plays with either her fingers or a pick, whichever fits the song better. In some songs she will switch back and forth either throwing the pick or hiding it between her fingers. She was 9 in the video and is now 19. At 15, she was the youngest artist to ever be signed by a North American instrument manufacturer when she became a Specter artist.

Ohhh, boy. They have 60 published originals after this on their channel. That cute little bass player is 9 here, and has grown into one of the most stunningly beautiful people on earth. Ale pronounced ahh-lay, was ripping perfect muse bass riffs at 8.
That little bass player became a Spector signature artist at 13. Dany, the lead guitarist is amazing keep in mnd she is lead guitar and lead vocal in most of htier songs. The drummer was featured tin Tom Tom magazine at 12 at was the Drummio rock drummer of the year for 2023.

Speaking of grandparents... they recorded this for their grandparents to see how they were doing with their music lessons. The file was too big to email so dad put it on his youtube channel and sent granny and grandpa the link and then the girls and their parents went on a cruise and when they came back Ellen and others were trying to get them for their shows and everything else is history. Dany the guitarist is 14 in this video. And probably has reached her adult height of about 5’3”. Alejandra the bass player is 9. By 14 years of age she sprouted up to 5’6” and towers over her sisters. New sub. Keep going down the rabbit hole ⚡️🤘

Great comments Sarge. I didn't know that you were a musician in your past! Ale, bass player is 9 years old here and just starting. She is 19 now. The lead vocalist and guitarist, Dany, was 14 here and is now 24. The drummer, Pau, is 12 here and 22 now. She won two different rock drummers of the year in 2023. She also sings backups and can sing lead while playing the drums! Wait till you see them years later. The TEDx will give you some idea how quickly they progress in just a few years.

As someone else has said this video was uploaded to YT so their grandparents could see their progress because it was too large to email. A few months (I am not sure) after it was uploaded the sisters went on a cruise with their parents and grandparents and when they returned Luis' (their father) email was overflowing and they performed on Ellen in early 2015. They were able to fulfill their dream of attending Berkley's summer program through crowdsourcing as well as donations from Ellen/Target. They just released thier fourth album on June 28 and are bloing up everywhere.
They had so much good help, I am happy for them
Ale was initialy trained in Jazz style slap technique . . Using the pick was hard for her to get use to . ..

Suggest the live performance at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX and/or the OMV. If you want to proceed chronologically, suggest their cover of The Pretender by the Foo Fighters, which was about a year or so after this video went viral. 😎👍

I'm sure you looked at ther catalogue and saw they had 4 original albums after this viral video, but I suspect you may not understand just how many great songs and performances there are.
