I met seamus a few months after he signed for us, i was a shy 12/13 year old lad. He was shopping in Liverpool city centre, i went over to him full of nerves and said hi can we get a picture please, and he was the loveliest man I had ever met, he could tell i was nervous and started asking what was i shopping for today and didnt look like he was annoyed or in a rush to get the picture over with, i tell this story to everyone i talk to about Everton, thank you Seamus for the memory i won't ever forget it and thank you for everything you do for the badge 💙 my captain

Seamus retiring may be the first time I shed a tear for a player. Deserved silverware this man, shame he couldn’t get that with us. What a gentleman

Brilliant Documentary, makes me sad though that he will be another name along the likes of Jags, Baines, Cahill etc that we didn't win him a Trophy
He deserves to lift a Cup

That was emotional. Such passion for the game. Every football player / fan should see this documentary to show what it takes to be such a professional whilst still being an honest quality person.

The word “legend”’is often overused throughout today’s culture; through media, campaigns, casual conversation etc.
However, for Seamus Coleman, he has firmly established himself as one of the greatest players of our wonderful football club. And with that, I’m confident that all reading this will wholeheartedly agree that Seamus Coleman truly embodies what it means to be an Everton Legend.
Thanks for playing with so much passion each and every game Seamus; it’s all we ask for as Evertonians 💙

19:18 - I was the club secretary who sold him for the famous Sixty Grand. I would love to ask her the question, did you think you had persuaded Everton to pay over the odds when you left work that day. And do you now think - Should have held out for more, a lot more.
Just a shame there was not his goal against Leeds in 22-23. Perhaps his most vital.
    But what a hero.

A lot of professional footballers both young and old could learn a lot looking at how Seamus handles himself, so proud that he’s our captain and hasn’t been tempted by a big money move…

One day he will lead Everton to the many trophies and a world class position. Seamus’s higher purpose is as a leader to the club, being the player was just the start.
His attitude, ethics and professionalism is something missed in the modern day soccer world. There is no doubt when the opportunity comes, greatness beholds for Everton FC.
Somebody will look back to this comment someday when it happens.
    It will happen.
