I love seeing one in their early 30’s not married, with kids but still partnered but having an individual life as someone in my early 30’s doing the same thank you so much.
Also I don’t think there is anything wrong with being married, having children or have relationships content etc. I am just not interested in that type of content.

For the living room: I would highly suggest getting something like a low entertainment center with closed shelving instead of the kallax, because just a bench is going to mean you lose a lot of storage!! And if it's behind a cabinet door then you can hide clutter better while still keeping it sleek from the outside

i think you should keep the chairs, get a leather sofa in a dark rich color like brown green or black, and then get quality wood and glass furniture pieces. i think you already have a few key pieces you could keep!

A suggestion, if you have not already had your rug cleaned, get it professionally cleaned and then see if you need a new one. I think you might get a chuckle from what your key holder says - Napkins or face cloth.

Love that you are redoing your livingroom, I would try to change the positioning of the chairs and sofa. I personally feel like the wall behind the sofa is to smal/narrow for a coach. Love the colors that you are going for btw. Much love and God bless

Hey J, the thing you want to use as key holder could look cool in a bathroom or kitchen it says SERVIETTE on it which means towel (in French ) :))
Your style >>>
May I suggest placing the new sectional/sofa along the windowed wall to, as you said, draw your eye behind the couch, to the gorgeous view. Then place the chairs opposite. I think it would really visually open up the room when you walk in and still offer comfortable views of the screen. Then put a large art or gallery wall under the protector to disguise the cord.
Also, thank you so much for posting the thoughts on changing out furniture. I took a long time to select pieces I knew I'd love for many years, but I do get a little envious of your opportunities at times. I appreciate you recognizing it as an aspect of your job and not something we should compare to.

hi jnay! love your videos and your style in general. saw that you inserted a picture of the sixpenny neva sectional for your living room and wanted to say i have that couch and it's great, but it's HUGE! make sure you measure your space because homeboy is massive. very comfortable though and perfect for movie nights. comfortably fits 5-6 people on it. it's wild. good luck with the living room! can't wait to see how you redesign it!
