That was our mission when we pitted the Volvo XC90 PHEV against the slopes of Genting Highlands.

Been having the xc90 recharge for 2 years.
So far it’s been a very practical and fun car. It is a sleeper family SUV, smoked many german sedans with it.
This is a heavy tall vehicle and YS made it look like he’s driving a sports sedan. I got a feeling, with YS at the steering wheel even a tractor will transform and delivers a sporty and dynamic drive going up Genting. 😂

Be on Power mode will shift all parameters up a notch. Nice drive nevertheless.😊
Been owning it since 2018, one of the best SUV you can buy in the market, sadly the latest version only has a top speed of 180kmh and heavier due to larger battery.
The fun way to drive this car is to drive it in gear 'B' for engine braking and regen, with TCS Off (Swipe to the left on main screen)

Yeap same with mine 2018 till today, one of the best SUV out there. It’s comfortable, powerful and super safe. Easily smoked many cars on road, they don’t expect XC90 a 2.5tonnes SUV could speed up and corner in such a way🤣.
By the way, you could easily delete the speed limit, there’s some guys from China you could hire and do the job. Only RM1000 and a window laptop to do the job

Have been subscribed for some times and quite enjoying it. BUt it is possible to show the speed meter all the time, very intersted to know your speed all the way
Uncle you shoud run on power mode to get full power, better respond and stiffer suspension. I noticed you were running on hybrid mode

Hi uncle YS, for part 1 why were you on hybrid mode instead of power (sports) mode for the majority of the drive up genting ?
Also for part 2 why did you turn on the battery charge function ?

If look closely there was an overlap transition of video at 8:34, which he already switched it back to Hybrid Mode+Auto Battery Usage, which should be fine for full power delivery when pushed hard 😁
Did other cars on the road know YS Kwong is the one overtaking them in high speed?

Hi Mr.Khong & teams, nice video but why your main cam so shaky? or forgot to enable stabilization? the second cam that face uncle Khong is ok😁
We cannot have stabilization on - or else the camera wont sync with the cornering action.

This Volvo's engine looks complicated. The more complicated it is the more problems may occur.
