Initially i planned on coming to the US for MS. I even have my gre re-test next week but after thorough research about the job market i decided to not come. Praying you guys get jobs there since I understand how difficult your lives are in the US . Anyone who are planning please know that software jobs are being outsourced to developed countries such as India, Mexico , etc. Its better to stay in india and its never too late to go for a degree( Go if you are confident and/or rich). Stay safe❤
Despite software engineering jobs getting outsourced from USA. There is a still a high chance of getting a job with better salary and work life balance than India. Also, once people will figure out AI , they will have a good direction in pursuing jobs. India literally have far more less jobs with Bs taxes and no work life. They treat you like especially if you work in MNC.
This too shall pass. Unfortunately, US has a boom bust economy and you just happened to have graduated during a bust. I came to US in 97 and graduated in 99. I found a job at a start up from which I was laid off in October of 2001. That recession was the worst I have seen in my lifetime. Many of my friends ended up moving back to India. There is a bit of luck involved while looking for a job in a bad market. I had actually employed a similar tactic as yours. I went to every office in Mountain View with my resume. There I met a founder of a company who ended up offering a job. So good luck to you. Many of my friends who went back to India, a lot of them eventually came back when the market improved. Just give it your best! Also, this is the best time to come to US for studies. Because by the time you are finished with your studies, the market would have recovered! Plus there would be much less competition because there will be huge dip in graduates in couple of years
I am sorry but i find this extremely unrealistic. Based on the probability that "the market will recover", you should not invest above 40,000$ to complete 2 years masters in the US. If you are paying 40,000$+ on a probability, I can only think of you as a fool. Sorry for the language but it helps gets the point across. And there has been no drop in the number of people going to the USA for education. Hence your complete argument about Market Recovery falls apart. Again, i am sorry for hitting you with harsh reality, but i wanted to alert those who may have dreams about going there to lower their expectations or avoid going completely.

Hi Abhi, I can understand your frustration. Seeing the current scenario I wonder sometimes whether coming to Masters to learn is one of the most stupid thing I did. The joke is I'm a experienced ML Engineer who worked for more than 4.5 years professionally, and kind of applied for ML interns and got rejected left and right (Auto Rejects). The only thing I saw is people come in Fall Intake they start applying from September which I felt tooo stupid as we are ourselves making situations harder, as people exploit this scenario more it becomes more bad. Because none of them I see are doing what they came for in first place to atleast become Master in that topic. Seeing this I felt too bad but seems the conditions won't change soon and honestly I have been asking the Juniors I mentored back in India about referrals and they even ignore haha. We are all in this, let us be patient and hope for the best man. All the best to you, Keep Grinding, Don't lose hope.
This is happening only because of fake linkedin and youtube tech influencer who didn't write one line of code their entire life giving these fake suggestions to start applying to jobs once your visa get accepted. I really don't know what masters degree mean to them. Its losing its value because of these guys. We are "Engineerings", We need to be given some value. It is demotivating. Getting a seasonal job seems like applying for NASA only to get ghosted. Even with experience, much of it is based on luck and the right timing. Referral some what works but not guaranteed. Best of luck!
You know why you ARE going to get a job soon because you do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to get one. This video is awesome, your determination is beyond awesome.
I understand Bro I am in the same position as you are right now. It’s disheartening and unfortunate to not hire lot of talented/ experienced young folks. The brutal truth about no job and managing the expenses is hard. I have taken decision to move to India without a job and hefty amount of education loan. Have no idea what’s next. Still keeping the hope.
The problem is that you need visa sponsorship, and that's it. The American dream seems out of reach after completing the undergraduate degree in India and obtaining my master’s in the USA; the days of easily securing visa sponsorship are gone. As an undergraduate student actively engaged in the computer science community, I see that every single international student is feeling depressed right now
followups and personalised messages... maybe bcuz first of all once ur OPT finishes there is no guarantee if u will get a H1B cause the propabibiltiy is just 20% and companies r looking for employee who are residents so its easier to manage.
yeah, a lot of companies aren't willing to sponsor and even if they are ready to take you on OPT, they don't like that you don't have unlimited work authorization. I got rejected by 20+ companies for just mentioning that I can work on OPT
True bro , happening same thing ... i got practically everything on my resume certs, internships, big projects all optimised keywords as per JD, that can be done as a fresher, but 5 months down , i didn't even land a single interview, IDK, what they want me to do
I feel you man i am a Ms in robotics student from Boston University and I can relate to everything you said in this video. Forget jobs it is even very difficult to get an internship, Job market is not fucked hiring process is fucked up
In the same boat right now. I am glad someone said it because 90% of the people do not have guts to. Reddit is full of anti-India sentiment where people call Indian students H1B hungry squatters and openly say that Indian students have bad resumes. They say that education I got out of a world class American university is worth my hefty education loan. But, what use is that education if it cannot get me a job? Wasn't this degree supposed to teach me skills useful in a job? Worse, we choose a university based on csrankings but never have their placement statistics. I am pretty sure the admit statistics would be different had those been made public. EOD honestly, my tier-2 college degree was 10x better. It atleast landed me a job good enough to pay off my education loan in an year, thanks to campus placements.
I believe that many individuals are following the software engineering path without fully understanding the field. This includes career switchers from mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as people from other backgrounds that are not related to technology, all trying to break into the tech market. As a result, there is an overwhelming number of candidates compared to the available jobs. Good luck to you!
Back in college, a friend of mine sent 300 job applications in two months. Every day, they'd start with a checklist: resumes tailored, cover letters perfected, and LinkedIn messages sent. Out of those 300, they got exactly two responses: one was a rejection within an hour (impressive speed, honestly), and the other invited them to an interview that turned out to be for a pyramid scheme. Eventually, they attended a career fair where a recruiter gave them the best advice of their job hunt: 'Just apply online.' I’m sure everyone here has their own version of this story-if you don’t, you’re probably a recruiter. But hey, persistence pays off… sometimes. For those who’ve weathered this storm, let’s share our stories and remind each other we’re not alone in this maze. Looking forward connecting with you Darshan Suresh
It's bad out here. It's going on a year since I graduated with no job in the Industry. But don't give up. I know I am not going to accept defeat. Right when I was going to give up, I got 6 invitation for OA. That's 6 more than I had. All within a couple weeks of each other. Networking is probably the best thing to do right now as I only got the OAs because of it. But I respect what you're doing because it's rough it here. Best of luck to you.
Guys it’s very bad out there. I’m in singapore the last 3-4 months I have applied to more than 500+ applications. I got only 2 interviews. Both went very well but one rejected me and one said they’ve put me on hold as they are looking for someone more experienced. After 500 applications, getting banned from companies for 6 months if you don’t pass their coding test, passing assessments but getting rejected, cold emailing recruiters and they not responding, recruiters asking for resume but no response… it’s really really frustrating. The only thing that is in my power is my mental health and to only apply as much as I can. Hope everyone can get it sorted as soon as possible!!!
It took me several months as well to land onto a new job after finishing my PhD in NL. Finally, I reached out to bosses directly writing my interest and how I fit for their team. This saved me rather applying on traditional jobportals. Boss read my unsolicited application, felt that my experience fit for his team, interviewed and finally I got placed now in U.S. just today I received my visa. looking forward to new adventure and good luck for you as well! Yes, power is your mental health and i know how frustrating it is.
The job market is tough everywhere, but the biggest advantage of working abroad compared to South Asian countries is that you can do various odd jobs like working in retail, driving for Uber, and similar roles and still earn enough to cover basic expenses. In contrast, in South Asian countries, even with such jobs, it’s often challenging to make ends meet. That difference alone makes a huge impact.
I dont wanna be that guy, but i applied for over 50-60 got 4-5 interviews for intern positions and landed in one, currently working full time remotely but the pay is dog water. I just wanna quit daily but looking at videos like these remind me how lucky i was. I donno man, i just sometimes think of switching my career in all. Even though if you may land a job it doesnt feel worth it, companies are just exploiting freshers at this point, maybe i should start with some road side eatery or something, higher returns and lesser stresss
Abhi you need to go to an organisation where they are in need, do not go behind orgs who are least interested. I'm a correspondence degree graduate from Andhra and I applied on LinkedIn and I got response from one of the universities in US for IT director job and I also got email from UAE for a Manager position. I went for UAE because it's near to India travel time is less, same salary a little extra than what US posted and I have good welcome in UAE than US. So yeah don't go directly apply on job portal for an organisation who is in need.
@HarshvardhanSankpal whule you go through a job post they will mention as immediate joiners required, go to Google and type immediate joiners job and you will see few examples. Don't ask each and every question do research and figure it out.

I recently landed a Principal Software Engineer job. But I went through exactly the same experience recently (even with 10+ years of development experience). I was coming out of a career break that I had to take for family reasons and found out that 2024 job market is absolute shit!! Cold calls, optimized resumes -- nothing worked and I was getting rejection emails at odd hours too.
I joined a US defense contractor and was called slurs, micromanaged, and not trusted to do my job even tho I was only software engineer there working on the project. Eventually my manager called me on my remote day, screaming at me asking why I wasnt in office (ive been remote on fridays since Ive joined). Eventually I was let go after I completed the project and eventually found a new job 3 months later for a smaller place with much better benefits. The advice I have is to know your worth, keep your head up, and look for the most recent postings on google, linkedin, reddit, and job forums like monster and stuff based in your city and then look for adjacent titles. So Im a software engineer but i looked for titles like analyst, data, information, systems, etc. apply to those jobs. Good luck and hope for the best, you got this!
Job market expects you to do a job that you are not qualified for here in Canada people are faking resumes. What I did something different even when I have four years of experience and two years of that in Amazon as a digital and devices associate I am forced to look into internships paid and unpaid both I have so far sitting in Canada got to intern for two months in hubspot for linkedin marketing and another company in US I work for remotely for their social media content marketing. The goal is to keep applying for internships till one of those companies hire you so far I have spent six months and got no response for long-term hiring as the job market is way too bad

Feeling the struggle as a recent BTech Computer Engineering grad in India. The tech job market is super competitive, and even entry-level roles demand years of experience. It's frustrating to put in so much effort in college only to face rejection after rejection. Hoping things get better for all of us in the same boat
Learn how to build applications using Generative AI. I suggest training yourself to implement open source LLMs for simple use cases like Document retrieval. You can start with tutorials from Llama-index and Langchain. Next, learn how to build AI agents - crewai is a good framework to learn. When you have these skills on your resume, your hire ability goes way up in today’s market. These are the market needs of today and the best part is that nobody has more than 1-2 years of experience working on these so the ground is somewhat level.
So to the point demonstrating the ground reality of the current market. These youtubers are milking out money by selling dreams of a `HIGH PAYING SIX FIGURE REMOTE TECH JOB` while they themselves just sit down and yap some cliche shit, just to sell their course at the end.
Its a tough situation out there. A lot of IT jobs are going off shore. Situation is changing every year. Continue doing what you are doing and also try to meet people who are working in IT and try to explain your skills to them; It may help
I completely understand the frustration. I have a PhD in Econometrics, 2 years of current U.S. experience, and 3.5 years in India, yet I keep facing automated rejections after submitting my resume. Despite expanding my LinkedIn network and even having my husband reach out to hiring managers at his organization (Amazon) on my behalf, there’s been no response. It’s disheartening, and I’m not sure what exactly they’re looking for.
Bro you have scared shit out of me , And imagining about giving resumes as flyers is just blowing us away , Lastly all we can do is tell you this KEEP HUSTLING BROTHER ❤
I have gone through your profile. Nowadays data science Job markets expect at least 3+ years of experience. Not rocket science. And since you are in the US, any company would expect to hire a person who stays for long time.. I guess you are in OPT and Clearly you need to leave after 3 years if h1b is not picked. The good part I can see in you is, you are not trying to fake the things, really appreciate it, hope you will land in some company soon.
This phenomenon is a world problem, I'm from Brazil and around here it's not that different. I got my job in 2022 and two years ago has already complicated, now in 2024 it's still more difficult for those are starting their career. In Brazil, many of candidates complain about they have any chance even when an intership comes up, the companies wants to hire people with experience for intership and junior positions. I hope u get a job soon bro! Stay strong!

I have been getting those automated rejection emails at 2:00 am and sometimes in weekends. I landed a job but it felt absolutely impossible at one point

Hi Abhiram, I can really feel you and the way the job situation is right now. It's really bad to see the international students who completed their masters in USA struggling like this. And also, coming to recruiters i really don't know what ethics they are following in their profession. They simply post just to overshow themselves that please reach out to me if you are looking for some opportunities but when you really ask sending message or a request, they never see them. How the Hr's really justifying for their job god knows. Even if they don't want to hire just tell them the feedback so that they can improve for the next application. I wish you all the best Abhiram. Hope you will find something soon.
Bro I can't help you, but I feel you. I was rejected last week after three rounds of interviews just being told by the HR that they are actually looking for a senior for the role. And this is my only interview throughout this semester. I don't see it is gonna be any change this year. This is sad. I feel you man.
I received a video suggestion right after a rejection, and it got me reflecting on the experience: The interviewer seemed to be in a rush to wrap up the meeting even before it really began. It turned out they had sponsorship issues, which made the entire process feel pointless. They expected a fresh graduate to have extensive experience and cutting-edge, highly creative projects-an unrealistic expectation. The person interviewing me was a senior director who didn’t seem to have the patience to listen to my projects. Maybe I sounded boring, but I wasn’t even given a fair chance. When someone rude is conducting the interview, they can amplify even the slightest self-doubt, no matter how confident you feel. I’ve submitted nearly 4,000 applications, and it feels like there’s no movement. If hiring is frozen, who’s doing the work? Is AI replacing us? The U.S. should reconsider issuing student visas if there aren’t enough opportunities for international graduates. It feels like the system is more about generating revenue from tuition fees than ensuring a future for international students. They don’t seem to care because we’re not citizens of this country.
just after 7 months of work X in Accenture. it was going to be tough. atleast 2-3 years of exp and that also in a fast paced product based company. than there is higher chances of job
I totally agree with you about the job situation and the reality of LinkedIn posts and the top tech companies approach towards applicants. My suggestion is don’t focus only on Google or Microsoft kinda companies. Look at other small tech who provide opportunities. One big mistake is to go behind these top tech companies.
The only work around for you brother is put in the time and effort, I can guess your a highly qualified individual! But then there are so many like that. Bro, one suggestion is you start work on Data Structures and algorithms either in C++ or Python and keep sharpening your coding skills in either geeks for geeks or career cup type of portals. Also, I suggest you upload equivalent of Naukri type of portals and opt for resume display services in which your probability of success increases. Please continuously work on your technical skills and attempt as many interviews. Not only Google of the World, you should start thinking of some simple to medium companies also 😂 start creating some side projects to show your passion so that you can convert any opportunity that comes. Wish you all the very best 👍

I had an admit in hand from Northeastern University Boston for Masters in Data Science for Fall 2024 intake and I declined because the process of landing a job with or without a masters degree is the most painful and scary thing i can think of right now. Stay strong, I will try and talk to accuaintances in the US to see if they have any leads for you.
You are one of the most honest person who actually brought up this hidden dark facts. Thank you. Don't stop the efforts brother. Keep pushing hard.
Thank you for enlightening me brother. I am a UG Engineering student from India and you have put the truth in front of us! This video should reach more people !! Hope the hard times pay off in the future brother thank you soo much and all the best ❤❤❤
Again with love,
From India
I can resonate to this perfectly and it's even same in Canada as well. I hope you get something soon, don't lose hope!!
Bro you are the realist guy ever for doing this. The job market is terrible at hiring people. Entrepreneurship,Ai, and tech get down before its too late. "It takes creativity to make money"
Keep working hard life will give you a chance and you will have to be fully prepared at that time. For the past two years i was grinding dsa even though i got 0 interviews. Last month for the first time I got a google interview and I cleared it. Never lose hope.
That is something very Inspiring!
genuine question , were you unemployed grinding DSA for 2 years ?
@@john_doe_2231 i was in my masters program for last two year just graduated this june. I was applying to internships and full time daily and i have about 1500+ applications by now. So in a way i was unemployed you can say that.
I started job hunting in London, bro it really sucks what ever the points you mentioned is true and out dated no one is responding
I don’t know what to do to get placed, by the way all the best , be patience things gonna sort out soon
As an undergraduate student actively engaged in the computer science community, I see that every single international student is feeling depressed right now
That's good btw they want to extend their visa nothing more..
All the best! I feel you will have more success doing this in the Bay Area.
My son is in Fidelity and he said they are hiring a lot of engineers. I like your grit and determination. Keep up the hard work!
followups and personalised messages... maybe bcuz first of all once ur OPT finishes there is no guarantee if u will get a H1B cause the propabibiltiy is just 20% and companies r looking for employee who are residents so its easier to manage.
yeah, a lot of companies aren't willing to sponsor and even if they are ready to take you on OPT, they don't like that you don't have unlimited work authorization. I got rejected by 20+ companies for just mentioning that I can work on OPT
True bro , happening same thing ... i got practically everything on my resume certs, internships, big projects all optimised keywords as per JD, that can be done as a fresher, but 5 months down , i didn't even land a single interview, IDK, what they want me to do
Skill issue
smile and comeback to india. simple as that. You should have thought about this scenario when you decided to go there in the first place
@@PK-mx3tv true
@@PK-mx3tvlol as if Indian market is full of jobs, right?
I feel you man i am a Ms in robotics student from Boston University and I can relate to everything you said in this video. Forget jobs it is even very difficult to get an internship, Job market is not fucked hiring process is fucked up
Thank you. WoW, I got admitted into the same program at BU for Spring 2025. I was thinking of coming...
@ well it depends BU is a good school but the job market is really bad
So are you now in India or Usa searching for job?
I believe that many individuals are following the software engineering path without fully understanding the field. This includes career switchers from mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as people from other backgrounds that are not related to technology, all trying to break into the tech market. As a result, there is an overwhelming number of candidates compared to the available jobs. Good luck to you!
This is crazy mate, more power to you brother
Back in college, a friend of mine sent 300 job applications in two months. Every day, they'd start with a checklist: resumes tailored, cover letters perfected, and LinkedIn messages sent. Out of those 300, they got exactly two responses: one was a rejection within an hour (impressive speed, honestly), and the other invited them to an interview that turned out to be for a pyramid scheme. Eventually, they attended a career fair where a recruiter gave them the best advice of their job hunt: 'Just apply online.'
I’m sure everyone here has their own version of this story-if you don’t, you’re probably a recruiter. But hey, persistence pays off… sometimes. For those who’ve weathered this storm, let’s share our stories and remind each other we’re not alone in this maze.
Looking forward connecting with you
Darshan Suresh
I'm doing my MS in Computer Science right now. Will be completing it next year fall. But this scares me. Hope you succeed brother.
Truely resonate what you are feeling right now. I really hope you will find one job very soon.
@@ranganathmaringanti4380 What PhD you have ?
Me being brave enough to dream about doing masters in Singapore.... Geez
That difference alone makes a huge impact.
if they find you doing this they will deport you bro
You can’t do that on H1 B
I dont wanna be that guy, but i applied for over 50-60 got 4-5 interviews for intern positions and landed in one, currently working full time remotely but the pay is dog water. I just wanna quit daily but looking at videos like these remind me how lucky i was. I donno man, i just sometimes think of switching my career in all. Even though if you may land a job it doesnt feel worth it, companies are just exploiting freshers at this point, maybe i should start with some road side eatery or something, higher returns and lesser stresss
As an international student I totally understand your situation. More power to you, this too shall pass!!
So yeah don't go directly apply on job portal for an organisation who is in need.
how are u going to find orgs in need ?
@HarshvardhanSankpal whule you go through a job post they will mention as immediate joiners required, go to Google and type immediate joiners job and you will see few examples. Don't ask each and every question do research and figure it out.
@@bharath2sanakk The problem is all those companies in "need" are mostly contracting and defense companies that only take US citizens. Plenty of opportunities there.
Most other companies just don't want to have to rely on a stupid lottery system to keep a person in their company. They would much rather just hire a green card holder/US citizen that can just stay long term without any issues
Nice insightful thought @bharath2sanakk
@@ritvikprakash5758 See that's what US government has kept the rule. So that non of the companies go through this hardcore process which is US Visa Sponsorship. US govt says it's America first, ok let it be we indians need to focus on where we get a warm welcome, now don't ask me which country is that we get a warm welcome there are several Google them very easy to get them. Ok few examples Saudi, UAE, Singapore
1:02 that's true. Applying on job portals, cold email, referral are not enough to land a job nowadays. I have been doing this for 3 months, unfortunately no results .
Extremely useful video for incoming students. Very important to temper unrealistic expectations. It’s not as rosy as it looks from back home in India😢
Same Feeling bro , graduated but not getting replies,Tried almost all job portals, Wellfound gets to more replies and interview ratio among all of them. your resume is not ghosted by ATS viewed by the empoyer. I have got almost 4-5 interviews for 40-50 applications
One of the most honest videos I have ever seen.
Greed will destroy them! Extreme of anything will not work. Companies and top executives don’t care about giving away opportunities, they want more, and even more. This is coming to me and I’m saying it (more like a curse) all this greed will come to them in a real bad way as they too have families, loved ones and even their own children. They will suffer in a world which is created by them. And people like us will be there to witness it. More power to you bro for calling this out loud.
Being in the US market right now, I completely agree with with all that he said..That's so true!
I can feel you bro...this is the reality...100% true that no one talks about.
Thank you for such a raw video .Best of luck and hope you get a job soon
good. make sure you follow up with those you meet. don't give up. these spray and pray idiots are getting nowhere, you still got a better chance when you do this type field work. Keep it up!
I feel you bro, I have the same frustrations as yours. I am in Canada, but the situation is literally the same.
I completely resonate to you I was searching for the job with bachelors degree from India with 15 years of experience in data field finally landed to a job thus month but tech job market is brutal right now.but don't loose hope you will find one soon.
Can you tell me the road map of data science I also want to do
I recently landed a Principal Software Engineer job. But I went through exactly the same experience recently (even with 10+ years of development experience). I was coming out of a career break that I had to take for family reasons and found out that 2024 job market is absolute shit!! Cold calls, optimized resumes -- nothing worked and I was getting rejection emails at odd hours too.
Don't lose hope...
Wishing u good luck!
More power to you. I hope you get something very soon. God bless you!!
ವೊಳ್ಳೆದಾಗ್ಲಿ ಅಣ್ಣ all the best
Yeah bro everything will be good if he comes back to India 😊
applied to 50 openings
got reply from 10
got interview call from 3
get sellected by none
all i get at the end is an email with subject "unfortunately"
Job market expects you to do a job that you are not qualified for here in Canada people are faking resumes. What I did something different even when I have four years of experience and two years of that in Amazon as a digital and devices associate I am forced to look into internships paid and unpaid both I have so far sitting in Canada got to intern for two months in hubspot for linkedin marketing and another company in US I work for remotely for their social media content marketing. The goal is to keep applying for internships till one of those companies hire you so far I have spent six months and got no response for long-term hiring as the job market is way too bad
I’m a product designer in the same boat. Did all the cold emails, applications, networking attempts and there’s radio silence. It’s so humiliating and tough.
i think its a great idea to get a job if you are in that good city to handover your resume. keep it up brother
All the best champ. You got this.
Stay Strong buddy, you'll get one for sure !
Yeah bro once he comes back to India
All the best man. You got this
So to the point demonstrating the ground reality of the current market.
These youtubers are milking out money by selling dreams of a `HIGH PAYING SIX FIGURE REMOTE TECH JOB` while they themselves just sit down and yap some cliche shit, just to sell their course at the end.
Yep, we were tricked into thinking that the market is flooded with high paying tech jobs but its not.
Its a tough situation out there. A lot of IT jobs are going off shore. Situation is changing every year. Continue doing what you are doing and also try to meet people who are working in IT and try to explain your skills to them; It may help
More courage to you..... Best of luck brother....
Not to be insensitive, but the "expectation" is to pass with a good gpa at the minimum... not a 3.6... especially at a uni like northeastern
What is good gpa acc to you?
don’t worry bro, you’ve a solid option back home in India, keep the hustle on, you’ll make it!
Bro you have scared shit out of me , And imagining about giving resumes as flyers is just blowing us away , Lastly all we can do is tell you this
KEEP HUSTLING BROTHER ❤
I have gone through your profile. Nowadays data science Job markets expect at least 3+ years of experience. Not rocket science. And since you are in the US, any company would expect to hire a person who stays for long time.. I guess you are in OPT and Clearly you need to leave after 3 years if h1b is not picked. The good part I can see in you is, you are not trying to fake the things, really appreciate it, hope you will land in some company soon.
Hey so does he needs to find the job soon or when Trump comes to office the visa situation will become more strict?
This phenomenon is a world problem, I'm from Brazil and around here it's not that different. I got my job in 2022 and two years ago has already complicated, now in 2024 it's still more difficult for those are starting their career. In Brazil, many of candidates complain about they have any chance even when an intership comes up, the companies wants to hire people with experience for intership and junior positions. I hope u get a job soon bro! Stay strong!
Best wishes are with you ❤
I can relate to this. And I don't know who the hell are these people who sit on big talk platforms, interviews, talks and say oh economy is strong, job market is doing great, there are no issues. As you said they all talk about improving LinkedIn profiles and resumes but for what? For the automated rejection systems!! I have been getting those automated rejection emails at 2:00 am and sometimes in weekends. I landed a job but it felt absolutely impossible at one point
bro i will tell you one suggestion study node js and express js and create some API you will get some job.
Concentrate more on how to send data from user to db and how to read it back it is more than enough i think so.
Preach brother
It's tough out here man
Man I stand with you! I was in the same boat a few feeks back.
Things will change and be positive. keep up your confidence
Apply for positions in europe also. Its comparatively better and you wont have to worry about healthcare bills and visa issues so its more peaceful and better in long term
What you told is exactly correct, bro.
Hi Abhiram,
I can really feel you and the way the job situation is right now.
This is so real man!
Bro I can't help you, but I feel you. I was rejected last week after three rounds of interviews just being told by the HR that they are actually looking for a senior for the role. And this is my only interview throughout this semester. I don't see it is gonna be any change this year. This is sad. I feel you man.
Very important message!
This is the situation not only myself but so many people out there are facing.....this is the absolute reality people are going throuth this....
I received a video suggestion right after a rejection, and it got me reflecting on the experience:
The interviewer seemed to be in a rush to wrap up the meeting even before it really began.
They don’t seem to care because we’re not citizens of this country.
bro its a simple problem of supply and demand in the job market. They dont need more employees right now. theres nothing u can do
Man stay strong that's all I can say to you now✊🏻
Wishing you all the very best.
So much genuine , this video is VIRAL now.
I also did same thing everybody said you don’t have experience and we got someone who is suitable for this postion.
More power to you brother ❤
All the best man !
just after 7 months of work X in Accenture. it was going to be tough. atleast 2-3 years of exp and that also in a fast paced product based company. than there is higher chances of job
Start small, like a smaller software firm and work your way up, trust me it will be fulfilling also as the learning is massive. Then maybe you can try with these big tech giants
In the means time who will pay those loans of him? Huh?
@blazie2741 he should have thought about it before taking the risk. Indians are way too ambitious and with it comes these inherent risks.
Man you a riot! i wish i had it in me to say these things out loud as well, rather i'm just sitting at home taking these hits one day at a time. I'm going through the same shit, not knowing when all this crap is going to lead to light. Hit me up and we talk more on this!
definitely can feel the pain brother man this dream is turning into hell and mostly everyone expects us as freshers to have experience of a min of 2 years and ats ats is just pain in the as* and i will tell you what happened to me i got a rejection email form google at random Saturday night so definitely weekends gone badly but when i tried to find the guy who sent me over rejected mail i simply asked him what aspects i can improve on or some tips if he can possibly share he simply replied that sorry but you resume was actually not selected by our ats and with you ats score range we have more applicants and we need higher ats scored people i don't know what's wrong with all the top mncs
Hi Abhiram don't get demotivated I know how you feel, you will get job soon
Bro, one suggestion is you start work on Data Structures and algorithms either in C++ or Python and keep sharpening your coding skills in either geeks for geeks or career cup type of portals. Also, I suggest you upload equivalent of Naukri type of portals and opt for resume display services in which your probability of success increases. Please continuously work on your technical skills and attempt as many interviews. Not only Google of the World, you should start thinking of some simple to medium companies also 😂 start creating some side projects to show your passion so that you can convert any opportunity that comes. Wish you all the very best 👍
By the story u stated I assume the Indian job market is in much better condition right now than us.. hope you for the best
kind of
It's really not , unless you want to settle for like 5-6lakh per annum (which is still pretty bad)
No its not better
Cost of living is expensive, major drawback if you wanna buy a house in a city. The salary is almost 20 times less than US while the house prices are comparatively the same. The air quality is bad, the food (no matter how tasty) is not very hygienic. And the market completely runs on Corruption and Nepotism. No thank you, we will hustle here till we find a job.
More power to you brother.
MORE POWER TO YOU BROTHER HOPEFULLY YOU GET A FUKKING AMAZING JOB....❤❤
