I had the honor of watching these three gems again with my parents. This is the greatest movie trilogy of all time. Nolan is a genius and masterclass filmmaker. 🙏👏

Amazing episode guys! I completely agree with James I think Oppenheimer is 100% the magnum opus of Christopher Nolan’s career thus far. While The Dark Knight will forever be my favorite film of his, Oppenheimer was a truly special film that I won’t ever forget. Such an incredibly fascinating story told by such an incredible filmmaker!

So I gotta say this only because it was the only Nolan movie I got to see… first showing….
At midnight, the only seats available pre-ordering tickets were the first row…
I brought a blanket just straight up laid on the floor EPIC…
the whole theater was whooping, hollering, screaming…. BEST OPENING MOVIE EXPERIENCE EVER (& I’ve been to quite a few) 😅

I then proceeded to go see it 3 more times in theater & once at our large drive in which was AAAAmazing. I wish I could have seen all of these opening. But you haven’t had a “life changing experience” 😂 as you say in the theater until you see a movie with a group of people reacting with you 👏🏻
Also real quick, I’m so glad I found you guys wish I found you sooner, & because surgery I couldn’t see Oppenheimer in it’s best format 😢 I wonder if we can get theaters to reshow it at some point!

Christopher Nolan is in the top 5 most overrated directors of all time for me. I only really like four of his films.
Most of his movies are too convoluted and exposition-heavy and think they are way smarter than they actually are.
Pretentious is a word that's used too much but I think it sort of works with Nolan. People have even said that
he is today's Stanley Kubrick which is absolutely laughable. Nolan is a hack compared to Kubrick.
