He saved my life, in 1983, doctor said told me I had less than 2 months to live, and it was his music, that gave me the strength and energy, to fight when I had to fight at that time physically,. And I out lived with what they said I'm still here, at 67 years old! Roger Whittaker will always be super inspirational to me! He gave me life and HOPE! AT THE TIME I NEEDED IT MOST!

@LouisAlary when he sang about the ocean I put myself there, to row back to shore, when he sang about the mountains in my mind I climbed the mountains, now, I have an inoperable Brain Tumor I've been dealing with since 2016. And I'm still using his music to help get me through this! Most of the problems I have were caused by a Drunk Driver, when I was 18 years old. You are so very kind! Just came across this and thought i should shed some light on this tune. It is actually spelled jinjilip... A Nandi lullaby that was sung to babies. I am a Nandi of Kenya myself and recall we used to sing the tune in sixties when we were young. Roger Whittaker(RIP) had a Nandi baby sitter from the time he was toddler when thy lived in Kenya and that is how he got the tune that he later turned into this lovely beat.
