Yep, Euron is terrifying in the book. His ship is called Silence because he cut the tongues of all his crew members and he forced Victarion to watch his wife be killed.
He also went to Ashai in order to learn blood magic to grant him more power. In chapter for the next book that George did a reading for he’s orchestrating a sacrifice of thousands, including his own unborn child, at sea in order to put his plans into motion
