- I went back to see the physical therapist this week to have a post jaw surgery evaluation, and I'm so glad I did! She definitely had some things for me to work on :)

This was so helpful! Thank you! I had surgery 5 weeks ago and will definitely be asking my surgeon about seeing a therapist. I'm similar to you as my right side is way tighter and more swollen.
I'm so glad this was helpful! Congrats on your surgery and best of luck with your recovery process :)
There’s always homework to do isn’t there? Glad you’re getting support here!
Thanks Rebecca! We are never done with homework it seems haha
I'm interested in getting to know more about right side pull, I'm getting surgery in 2 weeks but i feel my face is pulled to left, share the stretches ur therapist make u do
I will try to show some of the stretches in my next video! I do think that each therapist/patient will need personalized recommendations based on their own asymmetries or mobility issues, but I'm happy to share what I'm doing as well!
@@meganschall i know each patient is different, I'm paying for everything out of pocket(not from US) so i wanna have as little appointments as i can and still get the good result
@@sheheryarjavaid3567 That totally makes sense! I will try to include some examples in the next video :)
Also, to be clear, I only started doing these exercises at 6 months post-op. My PT wanted to make sure we gave things enough time to heal and not risk doing anything too soon!
@@meganschall btw my tongue tie was identified because of you i didn't even know if there is such thing as tongue tie but after watching ur video i asked my ortho to have a look so many thanks
@@sheheryarjavaid3567 Oh wow! I'm so glad you found that out and that the video was helpful :) Will you be having the procedure done to release your tongue tie?
