    How did you get the measurements? Did you go around the top or just the diameter?

      Just the diameter. I measured straight across the top, flipped it over and measured straight across the bottom. Hope this helps! ---Becky

    I just upgraded to business edition and I am trying to make a tumbler template that I can drag and drop a design into the template and print. I can’t seem to do it without a design.

    What if we do t have that option in our silhouette studio, I have the designer edition, but it only gives me the original warp and the ABC it doesn’t give me any option with a cup

    Do I need to purchase a svg to warp a cup or tumbler? Can I just use and adhesive vinyl? With the tumbler/cup setting or measurements? Thank you

    What helps preserve the decals in the cups so when you wash it they won’t come off?

      Hey Riley! As long as you are using permanent adhesive vinyl and gently hand wash your cup, it should last quite a while. Avoid small vinyl details if you can, those peel first. Hope this helps! ---Becky

    Great tutorial - thank you!!!! I have a question about where it meets around the back side. There seems to have been a gap - was that intentional? Just curious if it’s possible to completely cover all the way around the back side. Again, great job!

      Great question Tammy! Yes, there was a small gap on this one. You will want to tweak the measurements if you run into that issue. It only seems to happen to me every now and then. You can also cut a few extra leopard print shapes and fill in as needed. Hope this helps! ---Becky

      @@DesignBundles I am in NO way an expert (although your videos gives me confidence to believe I am) but could the gap be because you shifted the vinyl and sort of overlapped it when you duplicated it to facilitate the welding process?

    If you wanted a wrap that would be a solid sheet (for example, if you were using patterned vinyl so you didn't need to cut out a design) would you just make a big rectangle and then warp that shape?

      Hey Sparky! You'll still need to use a template because the tumbler is a curved surface, unless you want to try to trim by hand. Hope this helps! ---Becky

      @@DesignBundles I don't think I phrased the initial question well...in order to make the template, say, a full tumbler wrap, would you just make a rectangle in Silhouette Studio and then warp the rectangle with the tumbler dimensions?

      Sorry Romeo, the Conical Warp is a feature of Business Edition, but it does work on sublimation wraps too! -Becky

      You will want to measure your cup to get the dimensions that you need since not all mugs are the same. =)

      You need to measure across the top of the cup and across the bottom of the cup to get your measurement

    Hello where did you purchase your tumbler or is it from starbucks? Sorry newbie here and also how much is it to upgrade to the designer plus or business addition?

      Hey Marlenne! This is a tumbler I purchased in a pack from Starbucks. I have a great video for you on upgrading your software in case you need it. You can usually find Designer Edition for around $30-35, DE Plus around $40-45 and Business around $60. Hope this helps! ---Becky

    Hi there. When making these measurements, are you measuring from top to the very bottom? Or are you not measuring the area at the bottom where you didn't add the vinyl? Thanks in advance

      The part where there's no vinyl at the bottom is where the cup has a little indent, so the vinyl won't stick well over that crease unless you help it along by hand (which you can totally do! but I just don't). So I didn't measure that part for my design. Hope this helps! -Becky

      Do you have the Basic edition or an upgraded version of Silhouette? If you have Basic you will upload the DXF file. If you have Business or Designer than you can upload the SVG files :)

      Hey Ashley! Not that I am aware of, but it is possible. You can download templates that would let you slice / crop your pattern into the curved template, that would be easier. Hope this helps! ---Becky

    Have you ever had an issue where after hitting "apply" the design shortens to less than what you need to cover the tumbler? For example, I have a tumbler that is 6.875" in height and after I hit "apply", the software shortens my height to 5.35". I can't figure out why.

    I tried making this with another pattern but it's just not sizing right when I save it and open it back up in Cricut Design Space and compare it against my usual template. Am I doing something wrong?

      Good question Melissa! When I open files saved from Silhouette Studio, I leave SS open, import the SVG into Design Space, then update my image size to match SS. It can be inconvenient, but I haven't found a more reliable way transferring designs between the two software. Hope this helps! ---Becky

      @@DesignBundles So Becky, what you mean is you take the dimensions Silhouette gives you on the wrap and re-size that image in Cricut to match the dimensions in Silhouette? Hope that makes sense, I had the exact problem. Also, how can we ensure that the wrap goes all the way around with no gaps? I noticed your design had like half inch gap or so. Thank you for your time! This video was a HUGE help!

    I used this tutorial to create my cup wrap, only problem I had was when the Cameo cut around the perimeter of the conical shape, it cut really bad and jagged, not sure why, and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.

      Design Bundles I actually bought the same file you did in this video. The only change I made was to the middle of the design where I just added my name instead of the circle cut out for the Starbucks logo, so I don’t think that had anything to do with it.

    so i just bought an image and when i'm trying to put the measurements for my starbucks cup and it keeps saying the image measurement are too big! i don't understand why 😭

    i am still almost crying in frustration not being able to figure out how i can make my own image without buying it, but my question is, when you purchase the print, can you just continue to use it forever?

    Could I pay you to make a template for me 🥺🥺🥺 I have a 30 oz regular (tapered/curved) cup that looks like the yetti cup and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to create this template. I have watched multiple videos but none specifically made for the tumbler I have. I’m banging my head on a wall 😩😩
