Very cool!!! Love the leopard print and the color changing vinyl and cup!!! Thank you very much for the tutorial on how to create our own template and all the details you shared. 🌸💜🌸💜🌸💜🌸💜🌸💜🌸
Cute tumbler - I can see making that shape in Cricut DS - you measure but use the “curve” to get the top and bottom to shape a bit - I am going to give it a try and see how it works
@@CorinneBlackstone You have to manipulate it a bit - you can curve and then turn - takes patients but it works - I worked in Adobe Illustrator for years so I am all for trying - I like to curve text too using curve and some turning
Are you going to be showing how to do this in Design Space, I really would like to learn how I am a newbie at all this, so the more I know the better i will be later.
Thanks for the template! I’ve always wanted to try but when I download the svg to design space it’s all grouped together and will not allow me to separate the layers or ungroup. Please help thanks you!
Sounds like you are not using the SVG. you need to make sure you use the SVG and not any other version of this design. The svg may show as an HTML document.
@@Kalicensored just checked works absolutely fine. You need to make sure you unzip the folder and the html document is your SVG so it should be opened in design space silhouette studio inkscape or another vector program to use it properly
Is thier any other software that is free to be able to warp on :( i unfortunately cant afford the 100$ at this moment or for awhile and my cup is a 16 oz 😔
It’s vinyl you don’t heat it and you can’t heat plastic it will melt. You just need to be sure you are using the right transfer tape (don’t use cricut brand it’s too sticky) and a good quality vinyl. You cup also can’t be silicone
Hi Corrine, I’m just starting out with learning how to sublimate. I have been trying for about 3 days trying to get my wrap to fit my tumbler. I get close at the top and bottom but the middle is not snug. Your video has been very helpful but I just can’t seem to get it to work. The tumbler is not a skinny tumbler it is a bit tapered. Any suggestion would greatly appreciated. Thank you
I have to be honest I have not mastered this with sublimation either. I would recommend starting with a straight sided tumbler first those are easier to get lined up
im just curious why most people use the silhouette for most part of editing then transfer it to Cricut for cutting. Is Silhouette not good enough to print?
I don’t like the silhouette as much when it comes to cutting it’s super loud. And because I teach cricut tutorials I show people how to use their cricut machine. But the silhouette is a fine machine in general
Why did you not want to cut your vinyl with the Silhouette? Is Silhouette not as good a cutter as Cricut?? I hope that isn’t the case because I FINALLY decided on the Silhouette over the Cricut and am waiting for it to be delivered. 😳😓😥😬
I just have only cut on the machine a couple times and I like I said in the video I only had one sheet of the sun vinyl so I Couldn’t risk messing it up
Because I didn’t have an desire to do that. I wanted the full wrap template and to show people how to slice images in full wraps rather than warp a full image. There are lots of ways to do designs.
Wow! This is the best tutorial ever! All this time my cuts were so off but after following your method the cut was perfect! Thanks so much!
Wow! You really packed a great deal of lessons in this one tutorial, especially the warp tool. I loved it. TU.
Thanks! You answered all my questions! And thanks for the template.

These colors go so well together!! Love it Corinne!!
I love this! Thank you for showing us how to measure and make a wrap. I needed this!
Love Silhouette!...you can select "Merge" if you want your image to place in the tab you're working in. "Open" will put the image in a new tab.
Thank you! Lol I’m still learning all the ins and outs!
Thanks
Excellent instructor!
thank you for helping me figure out what I was doing wrong!!!
Thank you so much for the info and sharing 👏👏👏

I wish you luck! Design space doesn’t do curved shapes
@@CorinneBlackstone You have to manipulate it a bit - you can curve and then turn - takes patients but it works - I worked in Adobe Illustrator for years so I am all for trying - I like to curve text too using curve and some turning
Do you no the Dimensions for a 20 ounce skinny Tumblr in silhouette studio warp feature
No you would need to measure it. I haven’t done the 20 oz skinny
I am assuming that if the top and bottom of the cup is the same measurements then the warp feature is not needed correct?
If the cup is not at all tapered than no a wrap is not needed
Are you going to be showing how to do this in Design Space, I really would like to learn how I am a newbie at all this, so the more I know the better i will be later.
You can’t. Design space does not have the ability to warp designs
@@CorinneBlackstone Great :( I knew i should have bought something else. Thank you and have a great day!
@@tinashepard1176 like shown in the video you can still use the silhouette software to create and then transport it over to design space to cut

how well does that hold up since the cup is not insulated?
It holds up perfectly.

Not that I know of off the top of my head. There might be a website that can make templates to download
how would you make a template of a full vinyl wrap for a 17oz stainless steel water bottle (coke bottle design)?
Because of the shape of this you can’t really wrap it in the same way. You just have to make a sheet of things and place them one by one
awesome, but how you can make one for a Jar?
Same way just measure the jar like I did the cup
My question is how did you make it stick to the cup without a tumbler heating press 😥 i tried this on several cups today and it did not stick 😅

CB, take the top# and divide by bottom #. 3/16, 3 divide by 16 = .1875.
How do you get the cricut mystery box?
This is not a cricut mystery box. This is my own box created by me with 143vinyl
what size cup are you using? is it the 12oz.??
24 oz
i've signed up and was sent numerous codes none worked
