Just speculating, but losing power in the winter could quickly lead to frozen pipes that require tearing up the concrete. Much easier to fix/replace an above ground unit.
this is not an all season property, it’s a vacation home that the owner rents out. Outdoor inground hot tubs and pools require constant maintenance, power and a sturdy foundation, and when the power cuts and ur backup generator only can only power so much or u decide ur not gonna visit the property for a month maintaining a hot tub can be difficult, also installing outdoor pools or any concrete in that type of climate & rocky terrain is hard because the concrete will freeze/contract in the winter and then warm up/expand in the summer causing it to crack, it’s less of a headache for the owner to just leave it like that rather than spend a whole bunch of money fixing and maintaining the unsightly problems that will come with it year after year.

And maybe a PA system to notify everyone when dinner’s ready. But hey just think if you enjoy cleaning and dusting, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you to get out your Swiffer duster and furniture polish and go to town.
The developers who built this house took a massive "break the rules & apologize later" approach - they expanded the house way beyond what was originally approved. They basically applied for single changes across multiple departments and the departments were not aware of all the overall changes...so they got away with building the home on a technicality. Whoever moves into this house will likely have to deal with upset neighbors within the development, because this house infringed into common-use land and was generally controversial in the community.

This is absolutely insane. The hidden kitchen doors would functionally be a nightmare though. You'd have to constantly tell people where the fridge is, where the glassware is...etc.
75.000.000?? So you’re telling me there’s a chance!
i dont think ive ever seen something that nice in my life
You would need a full time staff to manage this as its essentially a hotel - housekeeping, engineering, security, and lost n found, LOL.
A drawback of being rich and having such a big house is that you're rarely ever completely alone.
Lost and found 😂. And search teams to find your family members. Lol
And maybe a PA system to notify everyone when dinner’s ready. But hey just think if you enjoy cleaning and dusting, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you to get out your Swiffer duster and furniture polish and go to town.
Love love
It’s a fabulous house but imagine coming home with a few drinks on you, you’d be literally bouncing off the walls looking for the bedroom door 😂😂😂
@@codylewis867 lol lucky you 😂😂😂
I LOVE that bathtub!
Is this the same thing Mohamed Hadid did?
So elegent and clean, absolutely love this house❤️❤️❤️
Truly mesmerizing home! My wish is for more people to have a comfortable space to live in and be able to share it with people they love.
This is a beautiful and well thought out house. It does look a little too much like a hotel sometimes, but it is really nice.
I love how the broker mentioned that the private patio is for the exclusive use if the home owner. Why wouldn't it be if I bought the home?
it means it's not accessible from other rooms, like a personal perk for the homeowner that only they can access from the primary suite.
imagine waking up to that view every morning. omg!
Yes, definitely...but I guess it was built to accommodate many guests vacationing at the same time.
bowling alley next to a theater! Pins and large bowling balls being thrown down several feet only to smash into pins and make lots of noise. A few feet next door an intimate theater. winning
I don’t think my dream house exists… I want the luxury of this house but just smaller. All these luxury houses have far too many rooms for just a couple.
Maybe they rent it out 😊
You could design what you'd love and have it built. Some friends of mine are doing that right now and it actually came out to be less of an investment than settling for houses already on the market that didn't work for them.
I think your dream home exists lol..the question is do you have the money to create what you want?
It’s giving me an 80s vibe and I like it
Obviously well thought out but not what I think of as a ski lodge. I'm guessing someone from NY must have built it.
the chandeliers are insane!!!
Can someone explain to me why there's always blurred stuff on these videos? Almost always some kind of art.
The art has copyrighted so if you wanted to show the art you would need permission from the artist first.
Much of the art is proprietary, so issue of royalties or copyrights. Or some exclusive made just for the current owner of the house.
This is truly heaven ❤
The real ones remember when Kylie and Kendall vacationed in this house
And Katy Perry rented it this winter.
Beautiful, wonderfully designed and so well thought through.
0:50 Why is he using "3.5 blocks" like a block was an actual measurement of distance? To the best of my knowledge, there's no formal definition of a block, thus the given distance actually has no meaning, because it's not like there are city blocks nearby that it could be compared to. Am I missing something?
No you're absolutely right. But given the fact that he thinks that the pool is olympic size, we can't expect him to make much sense haha
Love, Love this beautiful home. If I win the lottery I will put my offer in ..
This is actually beautiful and in stunning surroundings. However it is just too big for my personal taste. Maybe 2-3 bedrooms same living area with the views and all would be wonderful and perfect, a cozy mountain getaway.
Pure luxury 😍
